"Ben?" Only a slight, disbelief whisper left Y/n's lips after seeing not only their brother Ben was quite alive and visible to everyone, but also meeting an entirely new family he got himself.

The home of The Umbrella Academy seemed to no longer be their home, as they thought it would be when they got back. It was now filled with strangers they had never seen in their life.

Ben wasn't wearing his usual clothes or even the academy's uniform - no, he had now a new scar on his face, stretching out from his nose and across his cheek, and a new set of uniforms, but a red version one.

The Umbrella Academy was shocked. More than shocked. Baffled. Appalled. Stunned. No one said a word or even dared to take a breath. Their dead brother was back from the dead with an entirely new set of siblings.

Their father was well and alive here as well. It seemed as if they could go to any timeline in the universe and they would still find him, telling them what a bunch of idiots they are and how much they have disappointed him.

"Ben." Klaus, of course, was the first one to speak up and take Ben's attention to himself with happiness, but only to get shot with a nasty death glare from him. That already indicated that this Ben wasn't their Ben.

Luther took a couple of steps forward, walking away from the others and examining Ben's face. "Is that really you?"

"Oh my god..." Y/n let out a shaky breath from her quivering lips as she tried backing away from everyone just a couple of steps back.

That was until Diego called out. "And who are the weirdos on the balcony?" Klaus even flinched from the sudden voice change behind him.

Soon enough, everyone's heads were perked up and their eyes landed on the five people and one cube, that were...

"They are the sparrows." Reginald proudly introduced them as if they were his most prized possession. "My children."

As if the word they feared most was said, the Hargreeves all turned around to face their father with looks of disbelief they had never shown him before.

"I'm sorry," Five spoke up, walking past Diego and Klaus, over to Y/n's side so smoothly, that the girl didn't even notice it. "What do you mean, your children? That's not possible, old man."

"Of course it is!" Hargreeves scoffed at that remark. "I think I'd know, wouldn't I?"

The faint footsteps of the Sparrows coming down the stairs made the kids turn around once again and get a better look at each and every one of them. They were different - ranging from blind ones to blobs - and did not seem pleased to be having the Umbrella's here, crash at their home.

"Everybody else can see Ben, right?" Klaus was still in shock more about the fact that Ben was alive rather than them being at their home which is no longer theirs.

"Cute hat, Sundance." Ben mocked him with a straight and serious face, but Klaus just couldn't take the hint. That's why he smiled back, being completely unphased by it.

"They call themselves The Umbrella Academy..." Reginald began explaining as Klaus attempted to play along with Ben only for him to roll his eyes. "..a group of scheming, perfidious malcontents, who-"

"Okay, hold up." Y/n shook her head and raised her hand up walking closer to him. "We're your children. You raised us! This is our home, we even met in Dallas and-"

"Exactly!" Reginald cut her off back making her go speechless for a second. "You all accosted me the fall of 1963 and, as I can see that nothing has changed, you all claim to be my spawns."

No matter to which timeline they went, it seemed as if their father was going to remain the same old asshole. Y/n let her mouth slowly hit the ground from incredulity, wondering if Five was going to step in. Little did she know, he had his eyes on the briefcase in the hallway that brought them back here.

"Claim?" Allison questioned dad by walking over to him with her hand out and having enough of this as the others followed her with their eyes. "Look, Five, what the hell is going on?" She turned over to him as the Sparrows carefully watched each and every move of theirs.

"I don't know yet, but..." Five looked over to his left and examined the so-called Sparrows. "...it's concerning."

"Is he telling the truth?" One of the Sparrows - a tall and confident man that outnumbered everyone by his height - spoke up making the Hargreeves look at him.

"Not the part about us being perfidious." Vanya immediately jumped in to defend themselves.

Klaus also waved around, trying to keep the situation calm. "No, we're amateur-fidious, at best."

Vanya didn't even glance at him, being in total confusion. "But we are his children. This is our house."

The Sparrow, that was the first one to open his mouth - Marcus - looked between the two with suspicion rising within him.

"Yeah, yeah. We, uh..." Luther attempted to not let his "Number One" character leave him at such a critical moment, even though he was acting like the dumb one of the group. "...we grew up here."

"Yeah, we grew up here." A human-blob kind-of-being mocked Luther, making the blind one of the group - Fei - snicker to herself.

"I kind of think we would have noticed you." Another woman with long blonde hair and impeccable beauty joined in the conversation, catching Luther's attention.

Suddenly, as if the last of the remaining brain cells in Luther's mind left, he went silent as his eyes landed on her. But after getting back to reality, he smiled and stuck out his arm for her to shake. "Hi. I'm Luther."

But the woman - Sloane - didn't seem to care enough about him because she just slowly nodded her head and looked away, probably hurting Luther's feelings.

"Okay." Allison rolled her eyes at that and walked past Vanya over to the front. "None of you belong here."

"Oh!" Fei sarcastically almost cut her off. "Well, then. I guess we'll just pack our bags and move out." She turned over to everyone even though she could not see a single thing through her glasses.

As if all of this wasn't weird enough, the cube, that was floating next to Fei on her left, began letting out robotic sounds and started changing colors. The Hargreeves stood there in confusion while the Sparrows chuckled after they understood what the floating cube said.

"You slay me, Chris." Ben said with zero emotion as he didn't take his eyes off Klaus and the others.

"Okay, listen," Y/n spoke up and walked over to Klaus and Luther with a heavy sigh. "We don't want trouble, okay?"

"Oh, you don't want trouble?" The girl in the back with black hair sarcastically teased her. "Then get the hell out while you're at it."

"We don't have to go anywhere, it's you all that have to leave." The tension rose even higher as the two began going closer together and Y/n continued talking. The girl - Jayme - walked forward with no trouble while Y/n was stopped by Luther after taking a couple of steps.

He put his left hand out and didn't let her go anywhere further. Naturally, Y/n was about to do something until her look met Ben's.

Her breath slightly hitched at the sight of looking straight into Ben's eyes that she had last seen an entire lifetime ago. Even if it was a long time for her, Ben seemed to have stayed the exact same.

By his looks, he looked like the same lovable sibling. But by his character and personality, he had become a huge asshole.

Even if Y/n's face showed some sort of emotion, Ben's was as still as a statue. That's when she realized that he wasn't the same Ben as before. Her Ben would have come over and hugged her, not insulted their siblings.

"I wasn't expecting company." Out of utter nowhere, Grace walked into the room with a plate of freshly baked cookies as if everything was fine.

Out of all the Hargreeves siblings being astonished by her presence, Diego showed it the most by putting away his knife and walking away from Five and Klaus. "Mom." Seeing his mother alive in this timeline also was the last thing he, or any of the siblings, expected.

"This is the best I could do on short-" But her eye and voice twitched, making her voice sound robotic. "short...short notice." Until she glitched right back into place and acted as if nothing had happened.

"Mom?" Jayme squinted her eyes. "She's a robot, you perv."

Diego immediately shot back, turning his head to face her with a relatively calm voice tone. "It's not a robot."

"Hey!" Y/n stepped in after she saw her messing with her sibling. "Don't you call him like that." She demanded but didn't move out of her spot, knowing that Luther was going to step in again.

"Or what?" Ben intervened walking closer towards Y/n with a death glare.

The girl slowly turned her head at him, trying to think over, if she is able to tell him something back. She would have shot right back, but an invisible force within her didn't let her say another word. She just wasn't letting herself say something mean to Ben after so many years of not seeing him.

"Why don't you come closer to me and find out?" Luther jumped in to help Y/n, standing almost right in front of her, ready to shield her.

"Luther! Guys, chill!" Vanya tried easing the tension but with no use.

"Think I'm afraid?" Ben took another step closer to Luther before Marcus stopped him by reaching his hand out.

"Stand down, Ben."

"Look at that! She's got a voice!" Luther mocked him.

"How about I hide that big Rubik's cube up your ass?" Diego called out before going silent. Of course, nobody noticed that he dazed off, thanks to Jayme's great hissing skills, which even made him tear up.

"You got thirty seconds to get out of our house." Marcus stepped in even closer, not taking his eyes off Luther.

"And if we don't?" Allison questioned him with her hands crossed on her chest.

A short but suspenseful silence filled the room as Marcus shook his head. "Then we'll have to settle this the old-fashioned way."

Y/n scoffed at that suggestion and smiled. "You think we're doing this?" She moved in closer, ready to unleash it. "You're not even worth our work, this is bullshit and-"

"Drop it, Y/n." Five cut her off with a strict voice making her go quiet.

The girl quickly turned her head around to look at him and locked eyes with him. Even though the two were exhausted and all bloody, the looks they gave each other didn't require any energy - they were natural.

Five shook his head, warning her to stay out of this, but Y/n just rolled her eyes and looked away, getting back into the drama she was pulled out of.

"Look, we just fought a literal army." Vanya kept talking with the hope to end this on a good note. "Okay? This doesn't need to get ugly. Let's all just calm down, and let's talk."

Vanya tried looking around and getting positive answers from the other Hargreeves siblings, but no one was really in the mood to sit on the couch and talk like little kids. That's why no one gave her a look back.

"Psst." Klaus whispered bending over to his right and waiving at Ben. "Ben-er-ino." He turned his head with an annoying reaction and faced Klaus. "You look so much better alive than you do dead. Am I right? Except that haircut."

As the Umbrella's stayed in silence, waiting for Ben's answer, meanwhile the Sparrows were looking at Klaus with utter disbelief.

"What the hell did you just say?" Ben hissed at him, making the Hargreeves gather around more.

"Come on, come on." Klaus waved his hands around and walked over to Ben with a smile. "Stop with all the hostility, Mr. Grumpy Pants.

Klaus walked right over to Ben, standing inches away from his face. "Oh wow. Nice scar. Muy macho."

"Shut your mouth!" Ben yelled right at him into his face.

But Klaus just spread his arms out and laughed. "You shut your mouth and just hug your brother-" Until Ben put a punch right into his face, making him fly across the room and land on the table.

"Hey! What the hell?" Luther shouted back at him after seeing Klaus tumble away with groans. "You didn't have to do that!"

"Oh, I'm pretty sure I did!" Ben talked back at him.

"That's right." The human blob - Alphonso - agreed with him. "He did."

"Hey, get back!" Marcus warned Luther by walking right in front of Ben and dominating him with his height.

But that was all it took for Marcus to try and push Luther by taking him by his shoulders, Luther swing a punch at him and Marcus take a big kick right at his chest, making him fly across the living room and straight at Klaus, who had just stood up from his fall.

The two tumbled together with the couch, which hit the ground and rolled over right to Reginald and his feet. The others gasped in shock, watching them go straight across the living room, knowing that this was going to be wild.
