𝐘/𝐍 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓 𝐀 𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐘'𝐒 𝐇𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐇 as she stared at the gazing night sky with the stars. She was standing with her crossed arms and thinking about how basically everything will be. Still covered in scars and bruised she didn't even bother to clean her wounds.

As she was standing there, Five walked over to the threshold of the door which led to the porch and leaned on it with his shoulders. He stared at the peaceful girl as she daydreamed like before. When they were at the apocalypse Y/n would always wait for the sky to turn dark and re-think everything. Those late-night talks were something Five will cherish forever.

But he wanted to confront her since they didn't talk ever since this whole madness ended. Everyone kind of went their ways to make sure everything was alright when they would leave this timeline. It was for the ones who of course did something and made a reputation for themselves. "Everything seems weird, huh?" He spoke up.

Y/n blinked as she was broke out of her gaze and turned around to look at the boy. She stared at his calming smile and nodded. "I guess." She said before turning back away and looking back at the sky once again.

Five's smile dropped a little bit since he knew what she was probably thinking about. He thought about how to confront her about that but it's not something you would talk about every day. He stood up and started slowly walking over to her with his hands in his shorts pockets. "What's on your mind?"

Y/n looked away from the sky and at the ground as Five made it to her. He was standing a little bit behind her and looking at her. The girl tried not to cry since that would only make manners worse but it was pretty hard.

"I can't believe that Lila and I are actually sisters." Y/n turned to her left side only to see Five from the corner of her eye and not straight at him. "And the fact that I..." Her voice quivered. "...I killed my own parents." She softly sobbed and covered her mouth with her hand.

"Hey, hey, Y/n..." Five came to her immediately, turned her around, and hugged her as she sobbed into his chest. "You didn't know. You had no idea that they were your actual parents. You were taken by dad from them but Lila stayed with them." Five tried to explain to her as he let all of her emotions out.

Y/n pulled away from him and wiped away her tears. "I-I know, Five, but...why did they gave me away but kept Lila?" She looked up from the ground at him as she put her hands on his chest.

Five didn't know what to say to that. He couldn't say that they just probably didn't love her as much as Lila because that would be simply heartbreaking for Y/n and she has gone through a lot already. He stared into her deep eyes for a couple of seconds thinking what to say that wouldn't hurt the girl.

But she already understood what he wanted to say and got the answer. She pulled away from him completely and walked to the side next to the pillar where she was again. She crossed her hands on her chest and sniffled.

Five saw how Y/n got away from him and left him standing there. "Y/n-"

"They probably didn't love me as much as Lila, right? They probably gave me right away but they hesitated to give Lila away, correct?" She turned around to look at Five with tears running down her cheeks. "I wasn't worthy of their love, I was meant to be with dad? In the Umbrella Academy, is that what you want to say?"

Instantly, something clicked in Five's head and he concocted the perfect answer for the girl. "Yes and no, Y/n." He walked up to her and touched her hands as she left her hands to go free on her sides and looked up at him.

Y/n's mouth dropped and she gave a confused look. "Wh-what?" That was not the response she was expecting and that was startling.

Five took a deep breath and began. "Listen: No, you weren't not-not worthy of their love, no, you weren't-weren't loved less by them, no, they loved you just like Lila equally. But yes, you were meant to come to the Umbrella Academy. If you wouldn't have come, we wouldn't have met. We wouldn't be family and...we wouldn't have gone through all of this."

Y/n listened to Five very carefully the whole time. As Five finished she understood and came to the realization, that what Five said was absolutely true. The fact that she ended up in the academy just means that her life may have turned to the best possible turn. She has a big and nice family, most of the time, she met the love of her life and she grew to be the mature woman that she is today.

"A-Are you sure?" The girl's voice quivered with every letter as she stared into Five's hazel eyes.

"Yes, Y/n. I'm pretty sure." Five chuckled which made Y/n chuckle softly at that. After that, the girl took Five's hands also and looked up at him as their fingers interlocked.

"What will happen now? I mean, when we travel back home." Y/n said as she slightly sniffled.

Five didn't know how to respond to that question. Everything seemed that the plan will work: they had the briefcase, they stopped the end of the world. Everything should work out perfectly. But he had no idea what would possibly happen. Since he didn't want her to become more stressed, he wanted to calm her down.

"I'm sure that either way, we will be just fine." He tucked a small part of Y/n's hair behind her ear as he smiled. "Besides, surviving two ends of the world and the apocalypse really calms me down that we can outsmart everything."

"Yeah, I'm not gonna argue there." Y/n replied as the pair chuckled once again.

"Plus, I know that anywhere I go with you, the both of us will be safe and sound." Five added in a soft voice which made the action of calming the girl down work. Y/n lifted her head from the ground and stared at Five's mesmerizing eyes. Five took her hin with his fingers and held it up.

Five looked down at her lips and pressed his against them in an instant. Y/n kissed him back and touched his face with her hands. Five moved his hands down to her waist as the two deepened the kiss at a time where it was perfect.

After a couple of seconds of the kiss, Y/n pulled away and looked at him as she put her hands around his neck. "Five...I know I don't say this enough and one thing I learned from the two previous timelines is that you need to tell your loved ones something you hesitate to say because you don't know how everything will turn." Y/n spoke as Five listened carefully.

"Five Hargreeves...I love you. I love you more than a brother, more than life itself, more than anything in this world. We have been through so much and I will go through as many timelines if that's what I need to do to be with you till the end."

As Y/n explained, Five stared at her and chuckled. He loved her the same way she did and the two of them really couldn't describe it in words even if they tried their best.

"I love you too, Y/n Hargreeves." Five suddenly dipped her and she slightly gasped. "And I will survive as many apocalypses as I need to so that I can love you with all of me."

Y/n smiled at Five and touched his bruised cheek with her hand. She leaned in and pressed her lips against his under the clear night sky.

Little did they know that Klaus and Vanya had been staring at them the entire time they were at the porch. They were in the kitchen as the two of them inspected the couple.

"Aww, they're the sweetest couple on this planet, aren't they?" Klaus said as he put his hand around Vanya's shoulders.

Vanya looked up at him and smiled. "Yes, they sure are. But come on. We don't have time for this." She took Klaus's hand off her. " We have a time travel trip to catch."

𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 as Five carried the briefcase in his hands. He fixed the time and date to where they wanted to go as everyone else stood in a circle on the ground and prepared themselves for this mentally and probably physically.

"Everyone ready?" Five asked for everyone's approval.

Everyone exchanged some glances with each other: Allison looked at Vanya, Luther looked at Klaus and Five and Y/n nodded at one another.

"Let's do it. Yeah." Luther said for all of the siblings.

"Okay."

Everyone stood in a circle and took each other's hands and shoulders. Y/n was next to Five on her left and Allison on her right. Her sister took her by her shoulders and Y/n put her hand on Five's shoulder.

"Wait!" Klaus protested as everyone looked up at him in confusion. Klaus looked at all of his siblings before running over to the porch to grab his hat. Yes, you read it correctly. His hat. Which was kind of funny and made Y/n snicker.

"50 bucks if we leave him here." Diego said to Five but he just brushed it off.

Finally, Klaus came back to the circle and smiled at his siblings to say that now he was ready. So everyone held their hands once again as Five opened the briefcase. It charged and electricity started crackling.

Then the Hargreeves siblings were sucked inside the briefcase as it zapped leaving the place where everyone stood empty.

The siblings teleported back into their academy mansion at the main foyer as all of them gasped.

The whole mansion seemed like it wasn't even touched like, ever. The chandelier upon them was shinning with lights and the table in the middle had not a single drop of dust.

Everyone exhaled and panted as they got to finally feel the relief looking around the room.

"Oh, good god." Luther said as he rubbed his eyes.

"Wh-what day is it?" Klaus asked as Five picked up the newspaper from the table and read it out loud as Y/n looked at it next to him.

"April 2, 2019." Five said. "Day after the apocalypse." He turned to Y/n who had a wide smile.

"Wait, so we stopped it." Allison said.

"My God, it's over?" Vanya looked over at Allison.

Meanwhile, Klaus whimpered out of joy. "Did we...actually succeed at something? That's incredible!"

Everyone laughed at that as Y/n jumped into Five's embrace. He spun her around as the girl giggled and hugged him.

She put her forehead near his and smiled. "Oh, this is finally over, isn't it?"

"Yes, it finally is!" Five said as he spun Y/n around and she laughed more.

"I don't know how about you guys, but I need a drink." Klaus said which caused Five to put down Y/n.

"Yes." Luther agreed.

"Oh, I thought you'd never ask!" Y/n chuckled as she took Five's hand and took him to the living room.

"In fact, I need several." Klaus said as he hugged Luther.

"I'm in. I'm in." Vanya chuckled.

Meanwhile, Allison was staring at the door and thinking of something. "I should go find Claire." She said as the others made it to the main living room.

But Luther didn't let her go. "Oh, come on. One drink." He took her hand and took her to the living room against her will.

As Klaus was behind the counter and preparing those drinks for everybody, the rest of the siblings walked around the room.

It felt so surreal being here when they had their first meeting in 2019 in the same room when they were back for their father's death.

They sure came a long way for this.

But it wasn't over yet.

So Diego walked over to the fireplace and stared at the painting above it. "Why is there a painting of Ben over the mantlepiece?"

Everyone rushed over to Diego and stared at the painting. Instead of Five and Y/n, there was Ben. And he wasn't wearing the academy's uniform which was even more strange.

But then their father from the other side of the room stood up from a big chair and looked over at the kids. "I knew you'd show up eventually."

Everyone turned their heads in disbelief to see their father standing there in all of the glory like he didn't even die in the first place.

Their jaws almost hit the floor as they tried to understand how did it work that he was still alive.

"You're alive." Luther softly said.

Reginald turned to Luther. "Why shouldn't I be?"

Luther and the rest of the siblings were even more startled by that statement. It was like his whole death was wiped away from the story. "Yeah. Y-Yeah, you're right. I'm...I'm just happy that we're home and...together again."

"Home"? This isn't your home." Hargreeves shook his head.

"What do you mean? This is the Umbrella Academy." Allison reminded him.

"Wrong again." He denied. "This is the Sparrow Academy."

Then they heard footsteps approaching. They turned their heads around to the other side to look at the balcony to see 5 people and a floating cube. They couldn't see their faces, only their silhouettes since the sun from the window was shining behind them.

Diego even took his knife out just for safety measures and to be prepared if there is a need to shank anyone.

Then the last person walked from the side and stood in front of the bar. "Dad, who the hell are these assholes?"

Turns out, that man was Ben.

Only a new version of him tho. He had a new hairstyle and a little mustache above his lips.

The siblings stared at Ben for a couple of seconds trying to comprehend the sight in front of them.

But there really wasn't any way that could prepare them for that.

"Shit."

And the things that were about to be followed.
