Meanwhile, Luther, Young Five, and Y/n were standing a few feet back from them. Five looked like he was losing his mind faster with every second, hence the unstoppable sweat, panting, and wide eyes.
He didn't take his eyes off the briefcase which was with the assassins near the fence for even a single second as Luther stood there clueless and oblivious to his brother's terrible mental stage. Y/n on the other hand was inspecting her old self the whole time. She was sweating even more than earlier now. Since the briefcase was behind the two assassins Five thought about jumping there to get it.
"Look. The briefcase." He whispered to the other two.
"No, don't." Luther tried to explain that it wasn't possible. "You won't be able to get there in time."
"Of course, I will." Five sternly replied as he twitched. "This is our only chance."
"You know, maybe Luther's right." Y/n agreed not looking at the boy, just the briefcase in case Five jumped there. "I can go get the briefcase if that's what you want." She pointed at it.
"No, I will do it, Y/n. You just stay safe here." He reasoned with her.
"Five, honey I appreciate your help.." She spoke sarcastically. "But for god's sake, just let me do it." She hissed and pointed to the briefcase with both of her hands.
"Hey, uh, just remind me...what was the final stage of paradox psychosis again?" Luther kind of sarcastically asked.
"Homicidal rage." The kids said in unison as Five twitched and Y/n sighed and crossed her arms on her chest.
"Right." Luther fake smiled. "That's great."
As Old Five was getting ready to shoot, Old Y/n was by his side looking closely at the rear-view of the gun to see what was behind since they suspected that they would jump.
"Five, listen to me. I..." Luther tried to say something but Five just bent down and started walking closer to the briefcase. "No. No!"
But before he jumped Y/n touched his shoulder and stopped him for just a second. He didn't look at her, just kept his gaze on the briefcase. She used that to access his power but not make it too obvious. Meanwhile, Old Y/n noticed that and she touched Old Five to access his power.
"Hey, maybe just think about it-No!" But before she could finish Five huffed one last time and jumped to the front. But it didn't go as planned for them. Old Five also jumped and they exchanged their places.
"Oh, shit." Both Y/n's and Luther said at the same time.
"Bad idea, shit-heel." Old Five shouted still pointing his gun at him. Young Five turned around in shock and all startled seeing how it all turned out not the way he initially planned.
But Luther had enough of those two idiots. He approached Old Five and snatched the gun out of his hands as the Old Five looked at him all startled.
"Stop it! All right? The four of you." Luther scolded them.
Young Five came closer as well and Old Y/n. Now they were all standing close to one another.

"Pull it together. Now, Kennedy is gonna be coming around that corner any minute now." Luther continued to instruct them. "Okay? So, everyone, let's just take a deep breath..." Luther showed how to take a good breath. Both of the Fives just inhaled and sniffed, while the Y/n's shakily inhaled and exhaled. "Now, we're all family here, okay? So can we all just try to get along for a few more minutes?"
But Young Five just turned to Old Five. "You want it?"
"Go ahead." Old Five answered with a grin.
"You gotta be kidding me." Young Y/n rolled her eyes knowing what's about to happen.
"What's that?" Luther asked before Five kicked him right into his place where the sun doesn't shine. Luther groaned in pain, clutching down as Young Five fixed his blazer and looked at his old version. Then Y/n's just squinted their eyes looking at Luther thinking about his pain.
"Now...where were we?"
Then the Five's just went off: they started teleporting and jumping all around the parking lot strangling, kicking, punching, and just doing everything they could as the Y/n's just watched how they teleported around.
Then Young Y/n turned to her old version. "Shall we help each other end this thing once and for all?" She put her hands on her hips and glared at her.
"Oh, it would be my pleasure."
"Oh, come on, Y/n, don't-" But Luther didn't even get to finish.
So the Y/n's started teleporting everywhere they could, doing the same things as the Five's. It seemed like they were fighting like there was no tomorrow. The four of them at this point. No one even looked at one another, just did their own things. But the thing is, the Y/n's could teleport only for some time before the power they accessed was over.
"Would you please-" Luther was cut off as the Five's teleported to his sides and kicked him before jumping away. But so did also the Y/n's. They teleported next to him and did the same thing before he could say anything.
As they continued fighting and teleporting, the women could not use Five's power anymore after a couple of seconds. So they tried to use it but there was no luck.
"Oh, I ain't gonna stop here." Young Y/n huffed under her breath.
"Yeah, I wanna see that." Old Y/n grinned.
They were about to tackle each other on the ground but just then the Five's teleported on their sides, Young Five and Young Y/n were standing on one side and Old Five and Old Y/n were standing on the other side.
"Getting tired yet?" Old Five yelled as he panted.
"I can do this all day." Young Five simply replied kind of enjoying this.
"Guys, this has to stop." Luther tried to break this whole thing but with no use.
"Eat shit, ape-man." Both of the Five's said in unison.
But when the two Five's were about to jump once again, they collided and a huge vortex threw the four of them in different directions. But meanwhile, Luther picked up the gun that the old ones were using ad pointed at them.
"Hey! Assholes! I'm done listening to you four. I'm in charge now."
"Now, Luther! Shoot them!" Old versions of the kids shouted.
"No, Luther! Shoot them!" The teens replied in unison too as they all stood up.

"Shoot them!"
"No, Luther, shoot them!"
"Luther, shoot them!"
"Luther, shoot them!"
"Now, Luther!"
Luther kept on switching the pointing direction between the kids and the old ones but eventually, he pointed towards the teen's direction with a scarred face.
"Luther..." Y/n couldn't believe that he would do such a thing and betray them.
"I'm sorry, guys."
Luther kept pointing the gun at them, but the old version was getting closer and closer to him while he was doing that. So when they were close enough, Luther took one single swing and knocked out the two of their older versions. They fell on the ground as Luther shouted.
"Now! Open the portal!"
Five and Y/n smiled with relief that Luther wasn't about to backstab them as he ran to get the briefcase. But Y/n brought Five to his life.
"Come on!" She nudged him.
Five looked around and started opening the portal. "Right."
Energy started churning and a portal appeared. Then they could already see the siblings standing there in the courtyard back in 2019. The portal started crackling even more and the blue light became brighter as the vortex surged and the wind howled. But at the same time, the old ones woke up and looked around at what was happening.
The old Five and Y/n's tried to take the briefcase and Y/n looked in their direction. Luther noticed that and turned around just in time.
"Don't even think about it." He pointed the gun at them once again.
Young Y/n used her telekinesis and took the briefcase closer to them. It only came a bit closer but it was to show them that they shouldn't even try to take it.
"Into the vortex you go, assholes." Five shouted as she pointed towards it.
"Fine!" The old version stood up.
"But give us the math! So we don't end up like Tiger Beat's over here." Old Y/n pleaded.
Five looked at Y/n to hear what she was about to say but she wasn't gonna let them get away so easily. "You two stand next to the vortex and we'll tell ya."
The old ones looked at the portal, now everything inside it being colorful as they made their way next to it because Five was using his power even more and time was at the essence.
"Go!" Y/n shouted. "Closer!" She thought about using her telekinesis to drag them closer but wanted to do it the right and calm way since it seemed like they agreed to do it.
"This is close enough!" Old Five argued. "Now give it to us!"
Y/n looked at her brothers as they nodded in agreement that she could reveal it to everyone here. "It was a typo."
"Typo?"
"We put the decimal in the wrong spot in our proof of the existence of a bound for the number of limit cycles of planar polynomial vector fields of fixed degree." Y/n explained as Old Five, Old Y/n and Young Five listened to her very carefully. "We wrote down 5.7. It should be..."
"0.57!" Old Five, Old Y/n, and Young Y/n said at the same time as Young Five said that under his breath, realizing the stupid mistake he ignored.
"Son of a bitch!" Old Y/n yelled as Young Y/n put her hands out in the air proudly. "I knew that didn't look right."
Then Old Five looked at the portal and back at the kids. "All right...I guess this is it."
"This is it." Young Y/n and Five replied in unison as Five took Y/n's hand. She looked down at it before looking up at him and slightly smiling with the feeling that this was coming to an end. "Go."
But boy oh boy did something unexpected happened which they completely forgot.
Klaus threw a fire extinguisher through the portal which hit Luther in the head which led to him falling and letting go of the gun. Everyone exchanged some glances before they all ran to the briefcase. The Five's were dragging it by their hands while the Y/n's were using their telekinesis to drag it to them still holding it with their hands.
"Five, Y/n!" Luther shouted since he got back his conciseness. The kids looked at him as he pointed towards the portal. "It's shrinking!"
The teens looked at one another worriedly not knowing how this will turn out. But in the meantime, Luther finally stood up and kicked the old versions of the kids towards the portal. The only problem was that they took the briefcase with them. Even though it did end up with them, it flew to the ground and got completely broken.
"We did it!" Luther shouted all happy that they actually did something good.
But the teens looked down at the briefcase with its electricity crackling. They walked away from Luther with disappointment and sighed.
"The briefcase, you idiot." Five remarked as the kids walked towards the fence as Luther stood there completely clueless.
"God damn it." Y/n ran her hands through her hair.
"What?" He looked down at it and saw that it was completely useless and that their work was worthless. "Hey, you know what?" Luther shouted as Five walked around once again and Y/n paced slightly around. "A thank-you for preserving your existence would be nice."
"A thank you." Five scoffed.
"Wow, you did one good thing in life and expect for us to bow down to you?" Y/n mocked him before her and Five's attention was drawn to a man on the radio talking about the president's driving car near the place they were.
"Y/n, Luther, here he comes!" Five said as he and Y/n ran to the fence. Five put a briefcase on the ground to see over the fence. He helped Y/n stand on it by taking her hand and holding her until she hung by herself on the fence with her hands. Luther also ran to them and the three of them watched everything carefully.
"Look, there's dad." Luther pointed to a man with an umbrella on the grassy knoll. "What do we do?"
"Uh-oh." Five said as he spotted Diego running missing all of the people and going straight-forward for that man without even thinking of stopping.
"Oh, shit. Diego." Y/n said through gritted teeth as she also noticed him. He ran past the old couple who shot the video that Hazel gave to Five, down the road, and watched him tackle that man to the ground. The only problem was...
That wasn't dad.
And at that moment, the gunshots rang out, people screamed as they ran away, police sirens wailed and Diego watched over.
Despite all of the work, the president was still dead.
