𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌, Five, Y/n, Diego, Lila, and Elliot were watching the tape that Elliot developed which Five gave. Diego was sitting on the counter playing with his knives while Y/n was leaning on that counter, Five was standing next to the projector and Lila was painting Elliot's toes with green nail polish who was tied to the chair with some fabric in his mouth to shut him up.

The tape was just an old couple on the day that the president was coming to Dallas. The man was filming while the woman was standing in front of the camera. They seemed to have some problems with turning it on so for a couple of seconds on the tape played it was just them arguing.

"They're so cute. I love old couples." Lila spoke up as she continued to paint Elliot's toes and not looking up at the screen. "I'm always so proud of them for not murdering each other."

Diego turned to Five after Lila immediately stopped talking. "Why are we watching this?"

"Shush." Five and Y/n replied in unison for Diego with not taking their eyes off the video.

But Diego's attention was caught when the couple on the tape said the date, November 22nd, 1963, and what they were doing there, which was seeing the president.

"Well, that's six days from now." Lila looked up at the screen.

"Oh, my god." Y/n stood up and walked to the projector closer to Five. He looked at her and back at the screen.

"Holy shit. This is it." Diego sat up and leaned in."The grassy knoll. Kennedy's about to get shot. How do you have this?"

Five glanced back at Diego. "Hazel died to get me this footage. It must be the key to stopping doomsday."

"Hazel?" Diego asked confused how the hell was Five still in contact with Hazel after all this time.

"Long story."

"What's doomsday?" Lila looked up at Five since he was standing taller than her.

"Longer story," Y/n replied for him not taking her eyes of the film.

"What exactly did he say to you?"

"Well, he was killed before he could explain." Everyone looked at Five. "But whatever he wanted us to see, it's on this film."

They continued watching the footage until their attention was grabbed by the heard gunshots and people screaming on the video.

"Oswald." Diego said under his breath.

Everyone was just screaming and running until the man dropped the camera. But Five rewind it a little bit. "Oh, no."

The film started whirring and after a couple of seconds stopped. Five's eyes went wide and Y/n didn't understand what was he so surprised about. But when she looked at the screen too for a couple of seconds, her eyes went even wider. And shortly enough, also Diego's.

Five pulled back the projector to see everything more clear.

"This can't be." Y/n walked closer to the screen and put her hand on her mouth and so Five came up to her also.

Diego stood up still with his knife in his hands but not taking his gaze off the screen.

"Okay, you gonna fill me in now, guys? What the hell is this shit we're watching?" Lila impatiently asked.

"No, that's impossible." Diego said very quietly.

They were all now standing in front of the screen: Diego on the left, Y/n in the middle, and Five on the right.

"Clearly, it's not."

The three of them just stared in disbelief at the footage.

"What-what is it?" Elliot muffled something still with fabric in his mouth.

"Dad."

"𝐎𝐅𝐅 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐃 𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐁𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐕𝐎𝐋𝐕𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍,I should've known." Diego stated sitting on the kitchen table and looking at the ground.

Five was pacing around scratching his head. "No, you're jumping to conclusions."

"He's right. You can't judge something with so little known information." Y/n explained to show that she was on his side.

"No, what else is he doing standing on the grassy knoll, holding an open black umbrella on a sunny day in Dallas the same moment the president gets shot?" Diego stood up and yelled at the pair pointing at the photo of their dad across the room at the projector.

"It doesn't look good, I admit." Five replied with wide eyes.

"No, he's the signalman for the whole goddamn thing." Diego was starting to get more and more frustrated and paranoid.

"Hey, easy, Diego." Y/n walked in front of him and pulled her arm out. "Seriously."

"No, it makes sense. This is what Hazel was obviously trying to tell Five." Diego just simply ignored Y/n's help. "We have to stop dad from killing the president. Y/n, we all hate dad, so why are you trying to help him get out of this mess?

Y/n thought about it for a second as Five looked at her wanting to see what she'll respond with. She was started, that's for sure. "Because even though I hate him with all of my heart and soul, I don't want to believe it. I mean, sure, I despise him to death but I don't want to think that he could be part of something so...bad." She pointed at the screen as she tried to think of something to say.

Diego stood there in shock not knowing how to respond since he couldn't believe that Y/n just tried to defend their father like that and that was the last thing he thought she would respond. Five also kind of watched in shock. He knew how Y/n hated their father but since the day they left, she couldn't forgive herself for not listening to her father and leaving all of her siblings in grief.

But when she saw their reactions, it just made her madder. "You know what? You are not worth it. I'm done." She started walking away from the boys and to the other room.

Five looked at Diego before he started running towards Y/n. "No, Y/n wait." He took Y/n's hand and stopped her from going anywhere in the living room. She turned around and looked at him too.

"What? I just-I..." She sighed out of frustration.

"Listen, I know that it might be hard for you right now to think that dad could do something like that, but I need you. I really do." He looked deep into her eyes with hope.

She also stared at him not knowing how to respond. "Listen, you do what you want to do and I will...rest because this is just way too much for me at the moment." She took her hand out of his grip and walked to some room and locked the door.

Five sighed and thought about going back to Y/n but he didn't. He glanced one last time at the door that she closed before walking back to Diego.

And she just started crying. She was just overwhelmed with everything that was happening. Even though Five was opening his heart to her at such a difficult time, she was just messing and playing with him.

She still had that deal with The Handler to kill Five and she hadn't gotten any plans made on how to do that and now knowing that the world's ending is just making things harder.

And she didn't know if she had to do that.

"Oh, is everything okay here?" A woman's voice was heard in the room. Y/n lifted her head and saw The Handler sitting on her bed.

"Oh, what do you want?" She asked standing up.

"Y/n, dear, at the commission, you know we have this one Lithuanian saying at the commission. Remember?" The Handler stood up from the bed.

"No, and I don't want to remember it."

"Well, I'm still going to remind you of it." She started walking closer to the girl. "The saying is: Kada tada jeigu ne dabar? In English, it means "when then if not now?"

"Where are you heading with this?" Y/n scoffed impatiently.

"When are you going to complete your kill order?"

"I will do it. Sooner or later, I will do it." Y/n glared at the woman.

The Handler was standing in front of Y/n. She touched the girl's face with her hand. "Well, when then if not now?" She almost whispered.

Y/n gathered all of her strength and energy to say the following things. "I signed up for this, I decided to do this and I will do it. Believe me, before the world is going to end, I will kill Five."

"Yes, but, dear, you have to do it fast. I thought you're better than this." The Handler fake gasped and pretended to be shocked.

"Hm, guess you thought wrong. I'm even better than you thought that I was better." The girl crossed her arms on her chest.

"Don't play around, Y/n." The Handler said as she scolded Y/n with her finger and chuckled. "So, I can leave you alone and trust you to do this-"

Y/n cut her off trying not to just cry even more. "You hired me in the first place which means you already signed up for it already trusting me."

The Handler stopped talking and stared at her. "Wow, you're definitely much more intelligent than Number Five." She chuckled.

Y/n also fake chuckled. "There's also another saying in Lithuanian at the commission, isn't there?"

"Oh, really? What is it?" The Handler grinned.

The girl also fake grinned back. "Neperšokęs griovio nesakyk "op". It means "Don't say "oop" if you didn't jump over the ditch."

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 outside woke Y/n up a couple of hours later. She opened her eyes and looked through the window, but wasn't able to see anything since it was covered with a curtain. By the dark sky, she figured that it still must be night or evening.

The girl looked around the room and then remembered how she ended up here and why she ended up here. And all of the memories also flashed in her mind.

So she pulled the sheets away and stood up to sit on the edge of the bed. Shortly after that, she opened the door and walked out of the room to see if someone was there.

She walked into the living room and saw Lila fixing Diego's stab wound on the couch.

"Holy shit, what happened?" Y/n ran in and looked at Diego laying there. She had just woken up to the fact that the first thing to be seen would be her shanked brother is something that would wake her up instantly.

"Oh, he got stabbed." Lila simply replied looking up at Y/n for a moment and back at Diego.

"You're saying that as if it was completely normal to you." Y/n undressed her with her eyes in suspicion.

"It's not."

Y/n sighed and crossed her arms on her chest. She looked around the room to see some sign of Five and back at Diego. "Is he going to live?"

"Yeah, disappointed?" Lila looked up at the girl.

But she just sighed. "Not at all..."

After a couple of seconds of silence, she asked once again. "Who stabbed him?"

"Oh, your dad."

"Wait, what?" Y/n furrowed her eyebrows. "What do you mean my dad? How could-" But then the realization hit her. "Oh..." She chuckled. "That asshole."

She was referring to Five not telling her where he went. She hated when Five didn't tell her but why was she getting mad now? I mean, she was working against him so why was she angry that he wasn't being honest with her when she was doing that way worse? But the fact that the girl would be mad at Five after him not telling her something is something too familiar to Five.

"Has Five come home yet?"

"Oh, you mean him? No, not yet." Lila replied working on Diego's wound not letting her get distracted.

But just as when Lila said that Y/n heard the door open and sighed. "Spoke too soon..." Five walked into the apartment and Y/n turned to him her arms still crossed on her chest. "Weird, when I saw Diego I really didn't think that you were gonna come back home with your two feet."

"You mad?" Five put his hands in his pockets.

"Oh, I'm more than mad. Why didn't you tell me that you were going to meet dad?" She let her arms out and put them on her hips.

"Because you don't want to-" Five was walking closer to Y/n and talking but she interrupted him.

"Because I don't want to believe that he is part of the assassination? Yes, that's true but that's not an excuse to leave me here without anything. If I would have come maybe I would have prevented this!" She pointed at Diego.

"If you would have come, you would have ended up just like him!" Five walked up to her and yelled pointing at Diego.

Y/n's eyes went wide from shock and surprise. It was kind of the first time that Five yelled at her because of her safety in a long time.

"I just didn't...I didn't want for you to...get hurt." Five walked closer to Y/n and held her hands in his. Y/n looked down at them and back at him. "I didn't want to risk it and I'm sorry, okay? I know I shouldn't have done it."

They both looked deep into each other's eyes once again. "Listen, let's make a promise, okay?"

"What promise?" Y/n furrowed her eyebrows.

"From now on, we will tell each other everything: where we're going, what we're doing, and all of that, okay?" Five said.

Of course, the fact that Y/n was going to break that promise the second that they will make it official, crossed her mind but she had to fake it.

"But why should I believe you that you are going to keep that promise?" She asked as she slightly tilted her head.

Five let go of one of his hands and put it around her waist bringing her closer to him. The girl looked down and softly gasped. "Because I invented that promise." He almost whispered to her.

They both stared at one another until Y/n took Five's face by her hands, stared at his lips, and lightly kissed him. She didn't want to say something to confirm that she was going to keep that promise so she did something else. Five kissed her back with confidence and no hesitation as he touched her face and still kept his hand on her waist.

They pulled away from that kiss but Y/n noticed that Five had a scratch mark on the left side of his neck.

"What happened to your neck?"

"Oh, um, Pogo scratched me."

"Pogo? Wait, is he..."

"Yeah." Five understood what Y/n meant by that and confirmed it.

She pulled away from him and took some cloth off the table. She then went to get some medical supplies from the cabinet and put some rubbing alcohol on it. She walked back to Five and gave him that cloth. "Here."

"Thanks." Five took the cloth and put it on his wound.

Lila smiled and put her chin on her hands. "Aww, you guys look so cute together. You're lucky to have one another."

𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐒 back at Elliot's apartment was beeping while Elliot himself was eating and looking at the pictures of the siblings who went through the portal.

"Hey, we got one." He yelled for Five and Y/n to notify them. "Hey, one of those machines you asked for is going crazy." He rolled on the wheels of his chair as the kids came to him.

"Which one?" Five asked coming with Y/n.

"It's the, uh, atmospheric radar."

"Good."

The pair came closer to the screen and stared at what was going on there. Y/n understood what Five was doing there but Elliot didn't at all.

"I don't get it. What are you tracking? A hurricane? A storm front?"

"Sound waves." Y/n answered his question.

"Sound waves." Elliot repeated for himself.

Five looked at Y/n and nodded his head signaling that they had to go now. Since Y/n was standing on Elliot's right side and Five was on his left side, they walked away from Elliot and took each other's hands, and teleported before Elliot could ask another question.

Five and Y/n ran through the cornfield, they both scoffed and fixed their clothes before spotting Vanya hiding in front of them.

Five immediately put his cute smile on in order not to scare Vanya and so did Y/n. They both looked at her and walked closer as Five brushed the corn away to see their sister.

"Hi, Vanya."

Y/n also pushed some of the corns away and looked at her scared sibling. "Hey there, sis."

"Who are you?" Vanya asked standing up.

"I'm your brother. And she's your sister." Five pointed at Y/n.

"I have siblings?" Vanya asked once again confused.

"Look, you can either stay here and wait for the IKEA mafia to come back to kill you, or you can come with us." Five ranted everything quickly which confused Vanya even more.

He started walking away and so did Y/n trying to follow him and not getting lost or broken away from him.

"Wh...why are they trying to kill me?" Vanya brushed through the corns and ran up to the kids.

"'Cause, you're not supposed to be here, Vanya." Y/n tried to explain something to Vanya while still walking and making sure she wouldn't get hurt or something by the corn.

"In Dallas?"

Five intervened and corrected. "No. Here, in 1963."

Then the three of them walked into a knocked-out cornfield. All of the corns were put to the ground, it looked like somebody just ran over them with a truck, they were all smashed.

Vanya looked around at the view that she was looking at. "Holy shit."

Five turned to her and smiled. "Yeah, pretty wild, right?" Then he started walking again. "It's good to see your powers are still intact. Let's go."

"Eh, I would argue" Y/n thought in her head.

The waitress was about to leave with the rest of the coffee but Five stopped her. "Leave the pot, dear." The waitress hesitantly put the pot down for Five and he took it. "Thank you."

"Lippy little shit." The waitress murmured under her nose while walking away from the trio.

"You gonna tell me what the hell's going on?" Vanya asked as she looked at Y/n and Five not taking her gaze off him the whole time.

"When you were a baby, you were bought by an eccentric billionaire. He raised you in an elite academy with seven other siblings with extraordinary powers, but in the year 2019, to avoid the apocalypse, we jumped into a vortex and ended up being scattered throughout the timeline in Dallas, Texas." Five ranted everything fast as Vanya listened and watched closely. "Any questions?"

"Wow, nothing like getting everything from the previous 30 years of your life getting squished into one sentence after you just lost your memory, right?" Y/n thought in her head as she sipped her coffee.

"What do you mean, "the apocalypse"?" Vanya brought up the question the pair wanted to answer the least knowing its cause.

"I mean the end of the world as we know it." Five tried to avoid the real answer.

"Yeah, but how?"

The whole time Y/n was listening to and thinking how hard it must have been for Vanya not to remember such important details about her life. But then again, maybe it's for the better. "You really don't remember anything?" The girl asked.

Vanya turned to Y/n. "No, nothing before a month ago."

"Then what do you remember?" Y/n tried to get the answers Vanya could give.

Vanya looked away from Y/n and at the counter trying to give her all of the information possible. "I landed in, like, a...back alley. Got hit by a car. My head was ringing like crazy. I had no idea how I got there, where I came from." Vanya answered something she had to try to answer but she had a question she was more interested in. "What causes the apocalypse?"
