"𝐎𝐊, 𝐒𝐎, 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐍 you go in first, then me, Diego, Y/n, and Five. How's that?" Luther suggested pointing at everyone in a row as the kids stood outside the bank moments before they were supposed to go in.

Y/n, who was tying her hair at the time, turned her head towards Luther, hearing such nonsense."I'm sorry, but why do you always get to decide who goes first and second?" She asked crossing her hands on her chest.

Luther turned his look to her and stood up more confidently fixing his jacket. "Because, Y/n, I'm-"

"No one cares about your number, Luther." The girl cut him off with a scoff. "It's not the title that gives you the power." She explained before giving him one last glare and walking away towards the entrance. Even if she was wearing her mask, anyone could have already sensed her facial expressions.

Everyone followed her with their eyes until she was far away enough for Five to speak up. "You gotta admit, she's not wrong." He agreed pointing at Y/n with a smile.

"Yeah, she's got a point." Klaus chimed in with a chuckle.

But Luther, having enough of everything, decided to end it. "Oh, shut up. Let's just get this show on the road." He said showing with his hands for everyone to follow him.

But Five ran past everyone and over to the girl, wanting to say something to her and not being able to hold it anymore. "You're correct, you know that, right?" He chuckled as he stopped running and started walking together with Y/n. "Someone needed to tell him that eventually."

The girl smiled and tilted her head. "Yes, I do, Five. But that's because I actually think twice before saying something, not like some people..." She turned her head towards Luther and shot him a death glare before turning back to Five with a sign. "...why do I even bother telling him the same, huh?"

Five smiled and came closer to the girl. "Because you want justice in the world." Y/n's smile dropped for a second as she looked at him not expecting such a serious and genuine answer. "And, thankfully, we have one in our group that will always be doing it."

The girl could feel her cheeks get warmer before she smiled back. "Thank you, Five." She stopped walking and with Five, waiting for others, as she put her hand on his shoulder and leaned in closer to him. "Now let's end this thing as soon as possible."

"𝐇𝐄𝐘, 𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌 𝐁𝐄𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑!" One of the robbers told others where to put the hostages as he pointed toward one of the corners of the room. "Now you've put me in a position where I gotta do something I don't wanna do. Hmm? Shit!" The man yelled into his walkie-talkie feeling frustrated and annoyed.

He looked around himself before his eyes landed on a little girl, with curly black hair and a school uniform, walking up to him like everything was as calm as it could be. She didn't seem phased by her surroundings at all as she kept her hands behind her back and a smile on her bright face.

"Hey, get back with the others." The robber instructed pointing his gun at the other hostages for her.

But Allison just moved her head down lower and spoke up. "I heard a rumor..."

"What? What did you say?" The man asked all confused coming closer to her trying to hear what she was saying.

Finally, Allison lifted up her head and put her hand to her face. "I heard a rumor that you shot your friend in the foot." Her voice echoed towards the man's ears as his eyes became white for a couple of seconds. He turned towards one of his robber friends with a blank look and head, pointing a gun at him.

"Hey, dude. What the hell?" The other man yelled when the bullet entered his skin, making him fall to the ground. But the gun shot another bullet into a window which made it shatter and caused everyone to scream in fear as the glass fell to the ground in little pieces.

Out of nowhere, Luther burst through the glass roof and jumped on a man who was holding hostages at the counter. He took him by his neck and crushed it on the floor making everyone look in fear. The boy threw the man out the window with ease and another window was shattered in less than ten seconds.

"Guns are for sissies. Real men throw knives." Diego mocked as he went through the door and threw his weapons making them change direction and pierce the man standing against a wall.

Then, the long-awaited Y/n's turn came and she walked in next through another door for an element of surprise. She used her telekinesis and took a man into the air throwing him out through the broken glass roof from where Luther came and outside, making him land god-knows-where. "Less talking, more doing!"

"You're really going to boss us even here, huh?" Diego came up to her and sarcastically asked her. "You don't have anything better to do?"

Y/n chuckled at his comments and crossed her arms on her chest. "Yes. Yes, I am because at least when I hit puberty, I am mature and I don't have voice cracks every two seconds." She triumphantly stated keeping her chin up with a mockery smile.

Diego scoffed and rolled his eyes at that. "Oh, come on! Tell me once when you heard one."

The two kids weren't listening to the shit that was happening around them, so when they heard Five say "That's one badass stapler!" with that terrible voice crack of his, Y/n pointed at him with her hand for Diego. "Example number one."

Diego rolled his eyes with annoyance, making Y/n chuckle until Five came down from the counter and over to the two. "Why are you pointing and giggling at me?"

"Oh, I was just using your voice crack as a perfect example." The girl smiled putting one of her hands to her side and shook her head. "No offense tho."

"It's fine." Five rolled his eyes and looked away. He wasn't offended by that at all, don't get the wrong idea.

Finally, the group's job was already done when it came to the last part. "Do we really have to do this?" Ben asked hesitantly standing in front of a door as the other siblings gathered around.

"Come on, Ben." Luther told him in a most annoyed and unapologetic voice. "There are more guys in the vault." Luther reasoned.

Ben sighed at that comment seeing that he wasn't going to get the answer he wanted. "I didn't sign up for this."

The others let the hostages go outside as Ben entered and did his part. While the siblings were outside the vault, standing and waiting for Ben to finish, they saw blood and tentacles in the room everywhere. People's screams and shoutings were heard, giving the idea of pure terror inside.

When the chaos was over and Ben was finished, he slowly opened the door and shakily breathed being covered in blood head to toe." Can we go home now?" He asked still standing behind the door.

"Oh, Ben." Y/n came up to him and pulled a tissue out of her pocket. She held his face in her hands, trying to wipe the blood away from his mouth and ears making Ben smile.

"I'm fine, Y/n." He told her taking her right arm's wrist and holding it. "Really, I am. I just want to go home."

Y/n smiled back at him and moved a piece of some human flesh from his hair that was about to fall on his face. "You know, you can always ask me to do your part if you don't want to-"

"No, your part is your part and that is enough for you." He reassured her as the two looked at each other with small smiles.

But their conversation was cut off by Diego telling everyone to go outside. The kids walked out, one by one in a row, as the girl came to Ben's side and whispered to his ear with a chuckle. "I love seeing your smile."

Ben nodded but continued walking with his head down. That's when the group walked out into the light and Five excitedly made his way over to Y/n. The girl smiled at the millions of cameras and waived noticing the boy's enthusiastic presence next to her. "Why are you so jumpy?" She asked looking up and down at him.

The boy smiled and walked over to her looking straight into her eyes through the mask. "I guess I just enjoy the attention, you know?"

Y/n blushed once more for the second time today but kept her calm and looked away with a shy smile trying to come up with something to say to him. "Don't turn into dad, ok? He is a sucker for media attention."

Five looked at her with a dreamy gaze but she just smiled and stood up in a line with the others. Ignoring Five's attention to her had to be maintained by her, especially when their father came and the kids straightened their backs to stand in a line.

"Our world is changing. Has changed. There are some among us gifted with abilities far beyond the ordinary. I have adopted 7 such children. I give you the inaugural class of "The Umbrella Academy".

Their father's proud talk made the reporters flood him with questions, to which he loved answering. None of the kids were paying attention to it, especially Y/n, which Five noticed very well.

The boy was smiling widely and happily, whilst the girl had an unsure look on her face. The boy's smile dropped in a second as he turned his head closer to her and whispered. "Something wrong?"

"Huh?" Y/n snapped out of her gaze and turned her head to him. Oh, no, it's just that this is our first appearance and I guess everything is just new, I guess." She tried explaining pointing at everyone.

"Well, you'll get used to this eventually, you'll see." The boy reassured her, knowing that he was going to help her with it.

"Thank you, Five..." She turned to him and put her hands together in front of her before leaning in closer to him with a giggle. "But I ain't forgetting of that voice crack anytime soon."

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 seemed to have stayed the exact same as Luther wandered around it, looking at the fighting techniques pictures, that their father had put up. The pictures were hung up in the hallway so that the children could see them at all times. No matter where they went or what they did, it always reminded them.

After walking around for no reason or goal, he finally reached his old room. His eyes landed on the airplanes that were hung up above his head on strings, the desk that was cluttered with stuff. It looked like nothing had changed. As if no one had come here or touched a single thing.

At the same time, Allison was in her old room. The woman slowly sat down in front of her make-up table and looked at all of the bracelets, posters, and magazines that were scattered everywhere when she came across a golden necklace that Luther gave to her years ago. It had "A+L" on it meaning "Allison + Luther".

Klaus was downstairs in the kitchen, carrying his father's ashes as he struggled to his mind clear. He put them down on the table and took some pills, that weren't different from any others from before, out of his pocket. He shook them in their little bag before opening it up and pouring some in his hand "Oh. Three? Okay!" He said to himself as he swallowed those pills with a heavy sigh.

And, of course, Diego was in the living room all by himself. He flopped on the couch on his back and sighed looking up at the ceiling, cracking his knuckles before taking out one of his knives and starting to play with it like a little kid.

The last of the siblings, Vanya, was on the staircase in the very center of the house. She was sitting on the stairs, her look drifting around from one corner of the room to others with zero thoughts.

It felt unfamiliar and strange to the Hargreeves siblings to be back in this house. They couldn't even occupy themselves with nothing. Now that their father, who was the one who connected all of them, was gone, they felt like strangers to one another.

Luther went through some music pieces of vinyl in his room and picked one. He took it out of its packaging and placed it on the record player, wanting to see if it was even going to work. Then he turned the volume up as it started to play a song.

And the song was the song that you all know too well.

Luther started bopping his head to the rhythm of the song as Allison noticed the song playing and chuckled to herself in disbelief. Klaus was also in the kitchen laying on top of the table when the familiar melody filled his ears.

"Children behave, that's what they say when we're together"

Vanya also heard the song and looked up trying to find out where was it coming from.

"And watch how you play"

Diego's attention was caught by the piece as he continued to stay on the couch with his knife in his hands.

"They don't understand and so we're running just as fast as we can"

Allison started bopping her head to the song too still sitting on the chair. Meanwhile, Luther started even dancing in the room as if he was all by himself.

"Holdin' on to one another's hand"

Allison stood up from her chair and looked up trying to decide if to dance or not. At the same time, Klaus picked up his father's ashes from the kitchen table in his hands and hugged them close to his chest.

"Tryin' to get away into the night"

Vanya stood up from the stairs she was sitting on and went down them to dance not being able to resist it anymore while Diego threw one of his knives into one of the animal's fake head.

"And then you put your arms around me and we tumble to the ground and then you say"

Klaus started swaying to the music not letting go of the ashes in his hands. Instead, he started keeping them in his embrace as Luther let himself dance even more.

"I think we're alone now there doesn't seem to be anyone around, I think we're alone now"

Allison took her pink feather boa and started dancing with it around the room, twisting and twirling it like a little girl.

"The beating of our hearts is the only sound"

Luther was dancing so hard in his room that it was as if there was no tomorrow as Diego went to close the doors to the living room making sure that nobody will see or walk in on him and Vanya started to dance like the cute human being she was.

"Look at the way"

Diego started doing the wave with his hands and body, dancing in front of the couch, getting in the groove more and more. Even he couldn't resist dancing to the song, it was that contagious. Klaus started swaying with Reginald's ashes in the kitchen even more with a cigarette in his hand.

"We gotta hide what we're doin, cause what would they say, if they ever knew and so we're"

Diego pretended like he was a fisherman and that he caught a fish, as he started to roll the imaginary fishing rod's string.

"Running just as fast as we can"

Vanya was dancing, even more, feeling and enjoying herself, at the same time Diego was hopping around like a bunny.

"Holdin' on to one another's hand"

Allison went off with her feather boa on her bed, Klaus put his hands on his face, Diego span around the living room, and Luther hit one of his planes after completely forgetting about his height - the kids were back in the groove.

"Tryin' to get away into the night and then you put your arms around me and we tumble to the ground and then you say, I think we're alone now"

Klaus followed Diego's moves and began spinning around in the kitchen as well not letting go of the ashes.

"There doesn't seem to be anyone around"

Luther was doing his crab dance as Allison was shaking her whole body and jumping on the bed as if it wasn't on the verge of falling apart.

"I think we're alone now, the beating of our hearts is the only sound, I think we're alone now"

Everyone in the house was dancing at this point.

"There doesn't seem to be anyone around"

Well, except for Grace and Pogo.

"I think we're alone now"

Grace was doing the dishes and Pogo was reading a book.

"The beating of our hearts is the only sound"

All of the Hargreeves siblings were enjoying this moment, the happiness and joy they were filled with now were immeasurable. That was until thunder was heard outside out of utter nowhere. Lighting and blue light followed and were seen everywhere through the windows.

The kids ended their dance session as the music stopped abruptly and the glass was starting to shatter giving off very weird looks. It was something unlike they have ever seen.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, the ashes of Reginald almost flew off the table but Klaus managed to catch them in his hands. "Oh! Daddy?" He asked himself as the kitchen utensils were shot to the wall.

Everyone went outside into the courtyard as soon as possible and saw where this was all coming from - a portal. Yes, an actual portal that looked and seemed surreal as the wind howled like crazy through their ears.

"What is it?" Vanya asked the siblings as she covered her eyes with her hand from the light.

"Don't get too close!" Allison warned everyone coming to Luther and putting her hand on his stopping him from moving anywhere.

"Yeah, no shit!" Diego joined their talk.

"Looks like some sort of temporal anomaly." Luther spoke up trying to identify the strange aberration and act like the know-it-all leader of the group. "Either that or a miniature black hole. One of the two."

Diego silently rolled his eyes at that comment and mocked his useless statements. "Pretty big difference there, Paul Bunyan."

Then, as if everyone hadn't had the surprise element enough, Klaus ran into the courtyard. "Out of the way!" He yelled running past his siblings with a fire extinguisher in his hands. He first sprayed some of the fire extinguisher foam into the portal but when that didn't do anything, he just threw the damn thing into the portal, making it disappear.

"What is that gonna do?" Allison sarcastically asked.

"I don't know." Klaus shrugged and put his hands in the air. "Do you have a better idea?"

More electricity crackled making everyone back up further in order to stay safe. "Everyone get behind me." Luther pushed Klaus into the back and got his leader role back on.

"Yeah, get behind us." Diego added coming closer to him.

"I vote for running, c'mon!" Klaus yelled showing with his hand to go inside but getting ignored by everyone.

The siblings stood outside, holding their hands tightly in their grips, not knowing where this might lead until they saw an old man and woman go through the portal. They jumped from it and both landed on their stomachs on the ground as the portal quickly vanished as if nothing happened.
