I woke up to my alarm. School. I grumbled and rolled out of bed. I put some jeans on because it was raining out and rolled them into capris because I was to short to fit them perfectly. I put on a cute red top with lace sides and my red converse. I put my jean jacket over and fixed my hair so the dark chocolate curls would fall past my shoulders. I looked at myself in the mirror. I always thought I had a weird look to myself I was super tan with hazel eyes and dark brown hair it just didn't seem to fit to me. I ran downstairs and grabbed an apple and my bag.

"You need a better breakfast then that"

My brother said. I ignored him and gave him a little wave walking out the door. I grabbed my bike and headed for school. My first class was Math with Mouth. I sat next to him today.

"Wow I thought you didn't like me?"

He said mocking me. I rolled my eyes.

"I'm a Goonie now we gotta stick together"

I said. He smiled.

"Your not so bad yourself it would just be easier to say that"

He said wrapping his arm around my shoulder. I pushed it off again.

"So how did it go with Stef?"

I asked. He smiled.

"Guess who has a girlfriend"

He said pointing to him self. I smiled and gave him a hug.

"Nice job"

I said.

"So how about you and Mikey?"

He asked once I pulled away. I blushed.

"Nothing is going on between us"

I said. He chuckled.

"I see the way you guys look at each other trust me that's nothing"

He said. I rolled my eyes and class started.

"Hello students today we are having the school safety assessment. You are allowed to pick your own group of 5 to go around the school and go over the safety procedures"

Mouth nudged me five was enough for me and the boys. I looked across the room and Finley was giving me elevator eyes. Finley was Troy's younger brother. I despised him but he had the biggest crush on me.

"Everyone will be meeting in the auditorium to pick there groups"

Mrs. Day said. We all nodded and got up in a line. Mouth must of saw Finley too so he kept me close to him. Finley still came up to me though.

"So what do you say baby hanging with me and my buddies for the safety assessment?"

He said.

"No thanks"

I said.

"She already has a group bud"

Mouth said. He gave Mouth the stink eye.

"Your just like Andy and your brother choosing the Goonies over us, but you won't for long"

He said walking away.

"Don't listen to him the Goonies are way better than those dirt bags"

Mouth said to me. I smiled at him.

"I know"

I said. He returned the smile. Once we made our way to the auditorium the boys must of had the same idea as us for our Goonie group. Mouth saw them and dragged me over stumbling over my feet I soon realized Mouth only did it to shove me into Mikey's arms stumbling. He caught me of course.

"Maybe I should give you some walking lessons"

Mikey joked. I rolled my eyes.

"I'm sure I can walk on my own two feet if this bum wouldn't stop dragging me everywhere"

I said. Mouth put his hands up in surrender and we all just laughed.

"We'll do you like being an official Goonie?"

Mikey asked. I smiled and nodded.

"Good"

He said wrapping his arm around my shoulders. I saw Finley grow furious but I couldn't say anything about it but cause my whole body felt numb at his touch. We started walking around the school for the safety assessment. We started at station 5. We barely could talk and soon Mikey got pulled away from me. At first I thought it was just some other friends but then Finley came up to me.

"Hey baby so uh how about you and me

sneak out of this assessment and Uh find somewhere private"

He said pushing me up against the wall and moving his hand up my side pulling my shirt up slowly. I pushed him off of me.

"Just leave me alone"

I said.

"Why is it because your with Mikey now?"

He asked furious.

"What?!"

I asked. For all I know me and Mikey weren't dating yet.

"Oh you know what I mean just admit it"

He snapped. I was about to say something but I was cut off by Mikey running up to me.

"Hey babe cmon lets go school is almost over"

He said lacing his fingers with mine and pulling me away.

"What was that?"

I asked once we were far enough away.

"I heard what Finley was saying the only way to keep them away from you is to make them think they have someone else"

He said. I smiled.

"Thanks"

I said. He blushed.

"Anytime for you"

He said. He looked so cute and I saw that look. The look I wanted my dream guy to have I could see it in his eyes how much he loved me. Mikey really did like me actually loved me. I kissed his cheek again then went to my locker to grab my stuff. I turned and saw him rub his cheek then look at me. I turned away so he wouldn't be embarrassed I saw. I got all my stuff and shut my locker. Mikey slipped a note in my hand then kept walking. He turned and smiled at me then kept walking. I opened the note.

Brooke meet me at the beach tonight. I have something to tell you that I have been wanting to for a long time. I will see you before sunset.

Mikey.

I smiled at the note then shoved it in my pocket. I went home to get ready because sunset would be soon. I put some dark skinny jeans on and a blue sweatshirt. I always had my red converse on. I pulled my hair back into a quick ponytail then ran downstairs.

"Where are you going?"

My brother asked.

"I accidentally left some of my notes I need for homework with Jess I'm going to go run a get them from her quick"

I lied. He looked at me questioning then shooed me to the door. I smiled and hopped on my bike riding to the beach. Mikey was already there when I got there and he looked super adorable. I hopped of my bike and dropped it.

"Hey"

He said.

"Hey"

I said back dropping my bag.

"You look great"

He said. I smiled and gave him a quick hug.

"Thanks"

I said. We sat down.

"So what did you want to tell me?"

I asked. He cleared his throat.

"Bryn when I first met you I thought you were pretty cool. Then I kept running into you but I know we haven't known each other for long but when I find something I believe in I never give up on it so will you be my girl?"

He said. I gasped. He was everything I ever wanted in a guy. I hugged him.

"What's wrong?"

He asked.

"Yes, I will be your girl"

I said. He smiled and hugged me back. I couldn't help it but I kissed him making him fall on his back. He stopped.

"What's wrong?"

I asked him myself now.

"I landed on the rose I brought you"

He said. I laughed as he pulled it out. It was all crumpled up and ruined now but I didn't care. I threw it and kissed him again. I felt sparks everywhere my first kiss was with the guy of my dreams. He licked my bottom lip and I was about to let him but someone stopped us.

"What the hell Brooklyn?!"

My brother asked pulling me off Mikey.

"What?!"

I asked mad.

"I didn't let you out of the house to get pregnant at the beach I let you out to go get your notes"

He snapped. I rolled my eyes and I saw the fear on Mikey's face.

"I only said that just so I could come out and talk to him"

I said.

"Yeah to talk not to let him suck your face"

He said back. I sighed.

"You told me you would never let anyone do that!"

He said as I ignored him. I was furious now.

"I kissed him first!"

I snapped. My brother backed away.

"You slut"

He said. I all of a sudden felt hurt. He walked off the beach and I dropped to my knees crying. Mikey came over and picked me up. He was taking me somewhere but I don't know where. He put me on his back and I held on. He picked up my bike and started pushing it he must of walked to his house and that's where he was taking me. He laid me down on the couch and I felt everyone crowd around me. Brand asked what happened and Mikey told him. Brand was furious and stormed out of the house. I sat up and wiped my eyes.

"Do you wanna know why he is so upset and why your parents work so hard?"

Mikey said sitting down next to me. I nodded wondering why.

"Your brother when he was this age fell in love with a girl on the cheer squad. They wanted to share their love so they did you know. She ended up pregnant and the parents were furious and didn't want your brother to be the father but because he was they had to pitch in with the pay. Your brother was to young to work then your parents got double shifts to pay for you guys and the baby and he doesn't want you to make the same mistake because even with the double shifts your parents still barely make it to enough for you guys and the baby"

He all said in one breath. I was amazed.

"Where is the girl now?"

I asked. He sighed.

"They moved to Florida your parents send out the money every Friday"

He answered. I started crying. I hugged him. He soothed me by rubbing my head. My brother and Brand soon walked in my brother had a black eye and you could easily tell brand shoulder had popped out. I ran to my brother and he hugged me.

"I'm sorry I never told you"

He said.

"It's okay but I told you and you should of believed me I would never let anyone ever do that to me it was just kissing"

I said. He sighed.

"I know"

He said. I hugged him tighter.

"Dude Mikey you kissed her sweeeeeet!"

Mouth said before high fiving him. My brother gave him a glare and he stopped. I laughed at them all.

"I'm sorry for calling you a slut you are defiantly not a slut"

He said.

"It's okay"

I said. He let go and went over it Brand.

"Sorry for popping your shoulder out dude"

He said.

"Yeah I'm sorry for giving you that black eye"

Brand answered. Jake chuckled.

"I obviously deserved it"

He said. They laughed together and did one of those stupid bro hug things. I walked over to Mikey.

"I'm sorry it's my fault I brought this upon you"

He said. I rolled my eyes.

"Don't apologize because I kissed you and I wanted to"

I said. He smiled.

"You wanted to huh?"

He said. I rolled my eyes and kissed him again. Brand pulled Mikey away.

"Ok bub not that close"

He said. Mikey rolled his eyes the chuckled.

"Bub? What am I 5?"

He asked mocking him.

"Oh whatever"

He said pushing him back towards me. I caught him.

"Who can't walk on their own two feet this time"

I said mocking him. He laughed then kissed me this time. I thought everything would be right now. But I was wrong.
