《Willow's Choice》Thirty-Four

Girls.
Twins.
Scarlet and Ruby Black.
Red eyes exactly like their father and so I named them as such. That color represented who they were and I knew they were more vampire than werewolf, that alone I could see from their eyes, for they were far different than their older sister's beautiful brownish hues.
Pierre arrived just before they were born and assumed they were developed so quickly due to them being conceived with human blood in both Valor and I and it caused them to grow at such an alarming rate because it was passed into their systems.
I stared down at my daughters as they slept, their features soft and delicate as I let my gaze travel over their faces. Ava sat next to me, her curiosity evident as she peeked over my arm at her sisters.
It's been two weeks without any news.
"Babies." She said as she pointed.
"Yes. Babies." I said to her quietly.
I watched as Cassius walked in quietly, Raven following and Ava held her arms up to her and Raven took her with a smile.
I stood up, holding my girls close to me as I stared at Raven.
She knew what I wanted to know. My same question everyday for the last two weeks.
"They think they caught his scent, but...they're not sure." She whispered.
"Why not?" I asked.
"It was so close." She said.
"How close?" I asked.
"Just in the trees, the ones facing the house." She said.
No one knew his scent like I did.
I was walking slowly as I gathered my senses, Raven following behind me quickly.
He was potentially nearby and the idea alone had my entire being hyper focused on finding my mate.
I walked down the stairs to see my family gathered around as they all spoke in hushed whispers.

"What's going on?" I asked.
They all looked around at each other, no one saying anything and Solomon growled with disproval.
"They saw him, but they don't want to tell you." He said.
"Why wouldn't you tell me?" I asked.
"He attacked me. He didn't know who I was." Pierre said.
"The human blood is still in his system?" I said.
"Fragments, but I think he isn't feeding in attempts to bring himself out of the frenzy." Pierre said.
I was confused.
"That will work?" I asked.
"He hasn't found what he's looking for. He'll do anything to get back to the taste he most values." Giselle said as she stared at me.
"You think he's looking for me?" I asked.
"It is my understanding that he drank from you while the two of you were under the influence. You're the ultimate high for him if he's fueled by human blood, but the side of him that is sane refuses to let him venture too close until he knows he won't kill you." Pierre said.
"Stefan could come back for him." Raven hissed
"Then why are we waiting? Lets solve this right now. We should bring him here." I said.
I was tired of waiting, I was ready to fight if I encountered anyone who put more distance between my mate and I.
"It could be a set up. Unless Valor escaped somehow, Stefan could be using him to lure you in." My mother said.
I had already suspected as much.
"Which is why I'm going to play his game, but better. I'm going out tonight, but I will not be alone." I said and I watched as
"Willow, he will most likely try to kill you. He won't recognize you until he's fed and if he does feed from you he won't be able to stop. You'll die." Solomon said.

"I can handle him." I said.
"And Stefan?" My father growled.
"Him too." I said.
"I'm with you." Solomon said.
"Me too." Said my cousin Lily.
"Lily. I need you to take the girls." I told her.
"I'm your second, I-
"You are Lily, and I am your Alpha. There's no one I trust more with my daughters." I told her.
"Our daughters." I heard in a familiar voice.
I looked up at the stairs, stunned to see his all too familiar velvet red eyes as they watched me from the top of the stairs.
Valor moved slowly, at ease as he made his way to in front of me.
I could feel everyone on edge as Valor stood at his full height, he was so much taller now. He was definitely over six feet now, but he didn't look well. His eyes were dark, an unhealthy red, the vibrancy was gone. They were accented by dark bags, the ones that came with not feeding properly.
"Valor." I whispered.
"Willow." He said with a weak smile.
It was him. The Valor I knew and loved.
I wrapped my arms around him in a heartbeat, his hands finding my waist as he buried his face in the crook of my neck, inhaling my scent.
"I missed you my love." He whispered.
"How did you get away from him?" Pierre whispered.
"I don't remember. I starved myself until the human blood was out of my system. I have flashes here and there, but I'm not entirely sure." He whispered.
"You need to feed." I told him. I could see how it was already taking its toll on him.
"I will see my daughters first." He said.
"Your daughters can't see you at all if you're dead." I told him, taking him by the hand and leading him upstairs.
I waited for him as he showered and he soon came out, a towel wrapped around his hips as he stared at me from the doorway.
I took my shirt off, making myself comfortable as I lay back on the bed on my elbows, offering myself to my mate.
"Willo-
"Don't even. It's the most nourishing for you and at the moment it is the safest option." I said.
He stood over me, his eyes staring down at me.
"Valor, hours ago I thought you were never going to be the same, and now you're starving because of it." I told him.
Valor lowered himself next to me, gripping my hip with his hand as he tugged me next to him, hooking my leg over his hip.
I relaxed into his lips as he kissed me, his hand making its way up my body as his fingers brushed my cheek.
It wasn't long until I felt the prick of his fangs and soon enough pleasure was building in my and warmth flooding me as Valor drank from me.
He pulled away, his lips cleaning the wound and soon enough he was placing soft kisses against my skin.
I looked up at him, his eyes shining a bright true red.
The red that showed me he was here and he was mine.
