《Willow's Choice》Thirty

"He's been spotted a couple hours from here, he lures young women from the bar in town and he feeds from them. A few of them know of us and are fascinated by the fantasy he feeds into their gullible mundane minds. He's even got a few packless wolves on his side." Veda said.
"And why hasn't the council done anything?" I asked.
"We have no proof. We've reported it, but most of the women we're able to find won't go against Stefan because of the sick mind games he's playing with them." Veda said, rolling her eyes and I could pick up her distaste for the human females in the area.
Valor immediately shook his head at me.
"You're not doing that. No. End of Story." He said.
"He won't kill me and you know that." I said.
"We can set a trap." I said.
"But I will not use you as the bait Willow! He nearly killed you." Valor growled.
I sighed, knowing there was no way Valor was going to budge, but also because I was extremely frustrated because I knew it wasn't going to work.
"He's too smart. We're going to have to play by his rules. We're just going to have to figure his next move before he makes it." Valor hissed in annoyance.
And that's when It hit me.
We were here and not there.
"Valor. The wolf we saw before we left. It was a trap. It was to make sure we were on our way out. They didn't need the wolf to report, they needed him to not return at all. His absence was their green light. We need to get home now." I said as I stood.
Veda and Teo immediately offered themselves and their coven as support and a few hours later we were on our way home.

I felt myself growing sick with nervousness as anxiety of the unknown began to eat away with me and I vomited as soon as the plane took off so I sat down as I called home.
Solomon answered the phone on the first ring and I was thankful when he seemed calm and I sighed out with relief.
I held Ava and I took in a breath as I tried to calm my nerves before I spoke and Valor nearly snatched the phone out my hand and he quickly began speaking into it as he stood and walked to the back of the planes cabin out of earshot.
Minutes later Valor came walking back, his face hardened with irritation.
"What did you tell him?" I asked as he took his seat next to me.
"You need to feed." Valor said, leaving my question unanswered.
I hissed at Valor and he sighed out as he slumped into his chair.
"I told him to be prepared for anything ." He said.
I stood up, handing Ava to Pierre who took her gratefully as she giggled at the face he made.
I gripped Valor's arm and tugged him out of his chair. I could tell he was stressed, the bags under his eyes giving him away and I knew he hadn't fed nearly enough. He was with me most of the time and I was able to sustain myself on my previous diet and fed occasionally but I knew Valor didn't want to be apart from me so he went without.
"When was the last time you fed properly?" I asked him as I ushered him into the restroom.
He sighed and I kissed his lips slowly, offering my neck to him.
"Willo-
"Do it." I said to him.
He huffed but kissed my neck once and inhaled deeply at the base of my neck. I sighed out as I felt his tongue dart out across my skin before his fangs sunk into my flesh and as soon as he tasted me I felt his grip on my waist tighten as he placed me on the small sink as he drank from me.

I gripped Valor's sides as he slowed and his feeding turned into a kiss and his lips moved on his mark.
I let my hands travel to Valor's chest where they rested and I turned so our lips could meet and I kissed him softly, the remnants of my heat flaring up just from Valor's kisses.
Valor pulled from me and he closed his eyes as he sighed.
"Your heat isn't completely finished love and I won't put my pleasure before your safety." He warned.
I groaned in annoyance and I sighed out and Valor grinned.
"I didn't say you wouldn't get what you seek." He said and kissed my lips, a sigh escaping me as I felt his fingers part my thighs.
"Are you two really trying to have sex right now? You realize we're vampires, and we can all hear you right?" I heard in Raven's voice.
I chuckled as Valor opened the door and hissed at Raven who hissed back.
"Your daughter is listening, have you no decency?" Raven said in a deep mocking voice with an accent I couldn't quite decipher as she held up Ava who giggled at the sight of us.
"I've heard you and Cassius on more than one occasion and even seen the both of you in my own house, and you're one to speak of decency?" Valor said with a grin.
Raven snapped her mouth shut, and her brows furrowed with embarrassment as she adjusted Ava on her hip.
"I'm sure there's headphones around here somewhere. Carry on." She said quickly before she walked away.
Valor went to shut the door and I scoffed at him in disbelief. Did he really think I'd be able to enjoy myself while my family was practically having a picture painted in their minds of my sex life.
"I'm not doing anything when our entire family is ten feet away." I said as I leapt from the sink.
"You had no problem with it a minute ago." Valor said with a smirk.
"That was before I knew everyone could hear us!" I said as I walked out the bathroom.
I could feel my face burning as I walked past my unamused father while my brother chuckled as she clapped her hands together in humor.
"Your father and I did it in a bathroom once. It was quite nerve racking, nearly broke my ass on the tub." She said.
"Yeah, and your mother practically threw me out the second story window. I swear, sometimes she only wants me for my body." My dad said and I cringed at the thought and my mother and father began laughing together.
