《Willow's Choice》Fourteen

I could hear the familiar voices of my family yelling at the top of their lungs, even Alexander, screaming for me to shift.
Did they not think, I would if I could?
I was clearly struggling.
I didn't want to hurt my father, but right now, I had no choice.
I sent my fist flying at my fathers beast, managing to catch him right in the muzzle, the impact of the blow sending him flying into the sleet covered ground next to me as he whimpered in pain.
I stood up quickly, trying to put some space between both my father and I so I could even my breathing and give the effects of the wolfsbane time to wear off.
I ran until I was near Alexander again, my father still recovering from my blow and he began slowly stalking forward as his sights landed on me once again.
"You need to shift or he's going to kill you!" My mother yelled as Alexander held her away from touching me.
"I can't!" I yelled.
I watched as Alexander spoke into my mothers ear and her facial expression turned pale.
"Willow. Are you pregnant?" My mother asked.
The weight of her question hit me like a ton of bricks. We definitely hadn't been using any sort of contraceptives. He was a vampire. I didn't think it was possible and I hadn't even gone into heat.
Or had I?
It was supposed to happen within the first two week of my claim. It's been almost a month since my mating to Valor.
I thought about it quietly , the epiphany hitting me just as my father did, sending me sprawling backwards.
I was unconscious for ten days. Could I have gone through heat without knowing? I wasn't a vampire during our mating. I didn't even know if our reproductive systems were compatible, but all I remembered was what my mother had told me many years ago, that when a female wolf was carrying a pup, she wouldn't be able to shift.

I just assumed it was because I was a hybrid. I thought I'd lost my wolf, but if there was any possibility that I could be pregnant I wouldn't want to do anything to jeopardize my child.
And that included my father who had me pinned against the ground, dark eyes staring down at me as he growled.
I cried out as he bit down on my thigh, lifting me from the ground and throwing me , my head hitting the trunk of a tree as I collided with it.
Alexander's voice echoed around me as he yelled at the dumb witch to stop my father who began advancing toward to to finish his kill. He was playing with me. Using me as his personal chew toy.
Alexander rushed forward bursting into his dark brown wolf, intercepting my father as he turned on him. The witch cursed at Alexander.
"You are violating th-
"She's pregnant!" My mother yelled, the witches eyes immediately snapping my way in disbelief.
I looked up to see running my way Solomon, him bending over as he scooped me up from the ground quickly.
My leg was throbbing with pain and my head hurt, my body wanting to just shut down.
I opened my eyes at a familiar cold touch, Valor's hands on my cheek as he begged me to keep my eyes open.
"Willow. Come on babe, keep your eyes open for me love." He said as he lowered me to the ground.
I looked up into his deep ruby eyes that were laced with worry.
I inhaled as the sweet smell of Valor's blood hit my senses.
He pressed his wrist to my lips, my fangs retracted on instinct and I tasted him on my tongue for the first time.
It was like someone had sent electricity through me, my body immediately awake and alert, the pain in my leg becoming a lot more evident and I growled as I released Valor's hand.

Valor pulled his wrist from my lips, and he sat me up quietly as I blinked myself back into reality, my grip on him tightening as the rue pain of my injury showed itself.
"You were starving. You need to see a doctor. You'll start healing fast and I need to make sure your leg heals properly." He said as he lifted me.
Valor hissed warningly as the witch stood over us and she got out the way quickly.
I could see Alexander and my father in the corner of my eye as they both shifted human again, my father immediately freaking out and Alexander gripped him to calm him down.
"W-What happened? Willow!" He yelled as he saw me, his eyes panicking as he moved toward me, my mother gripping his hands as they followed us inside the house.
I hissed in pain as Valor set me on our dining table.
His hands moved on my leg and he cursed.
"Your femur is broken. It needs to be set in place." He said as he looked at me. My grandfather James ran in, a huge syringe in his hand.
"That won't work on her." Valor said as he brushed my grandfather off and Valor made a quick movement with his hands.
I cursed as the sound my of bones snapping back into place filled the room, the pain causing me to bite my tongue, the taste of my own blood making itself evident on my tongue.
My grandmother Elise ran into the room, carrying a machine over her shoulder.
She pulled my shirt up quickly and I watched Valor as he froze as she squirted the jelly like substance on my stomach and began moving the sonogram wand over me as she stared at the small screen that only her eyes could see.
Pierre and my father an in, both looking disheveled and confused at the sight before them, my dad staring down at me with sadness in his eyes, but right now I was worried about my grandmother because I couldn't read her facial expressions as she closed her eyes, the headphones she was wearing not helping my building anxiety.
"Grandma?" I whispered.
"You're about two weeks. The fetal heartbeat is weak. You need blood immediately or you'll lose the baby." She said quickly as she took the headphones off.
My father and mother immediately volunteered themselves, knowing werewolf blood would make me stronger than any human or animal blood could.
Valor was still frozen above me.
Pierre and Giselle both in shock at the entire situation.
"Pierre. How is this possible?" I whispered.
"I didn't think it was." He answered.
"We can talk later. Right now she needs to feed." My grandmother said. I couldn't believe what she was saying.
Valor looked at me silently, bending over slightly before he leaned down, kissing my head softly as he smoothed down my hair, he could see I was internally freaking out.
We were going to have a baby. I was going to be a mother. Me. The girl who could hardly take care of herself would be having a child that would depend on me, rely on me to protect it and keep it healthy and safe.
