《Her Seduction | ✔》Chapter 29

He's not him, he's not him, he's not him.

I've been reminding myself that, but the way he looked and behaved was just crazy. He looked and behaved like my Jonathan. Yet this one was a human, and he was twenty-three years of age— from what I've heard. Two years older than my Warrior.

I followed him around quietly, wanting to know more about this human who was a copy of my Warrior. It was strange and completely unlike me, following him around subtly. I grew tired of following behind him without making an appearance, and I decided to make myself known.

He lived in a tiny apartment by himself, how convenient for me because his apartment was also easy for me to get into from the windows without being seen.

Being a Vampire has its perks.

I was standing in his living room, listening to his calm heartbeat and breathing in his scent of peaches. It was sweet and inviting, but I didn't find it as exciting as a certain scent I adored. His heartbeat, too, didn't seem so intoxicating like a certain someone's heartbeat.

His heartbeat came closer to me, and his scent became stronger. I waited quietly, until I saw him walking lazily into his kitchen. Looking at him had me taking a sharp intake of oxygen, he was an exact replica of my Warrior. However, there was something different about him. Something about him was different to my Warrior, and I couldn't point out what it was. I just knew there was something different about him.

He must have heard my sharp inhale, because he froze and turned to look at me. His eyes widened, and I detected his heartbeat hitching.

"W-What the hell! Who are you, what are you doing he— how did you get in here?!" he asked quickly, glancing at the door near the living room. I shrugged, not knowing what else I should have said. I moved around carelessly, aware of his cautiousness towards me, and sat down on his couch. I looked at him with a curious glance, eyeing the way he seemed suspicious of me.

His heartbeat was so loud and fast.

"What's your name, human?" I tilted my head to the side, my pure black waves falling to the side in the process. His eyebrows raised, and he looked at me with a funny expression. I knew his name, I just wanted him to remind me of it, to say his full name. I didn't know his full name, just his first.

"Human? What, are you not one, too?" he frowned, almost glaring. I couldn't help but chuckle lowly, the sound surprisingly sounded to be making a fool of him. I stood up, and decided to not play any more games. I hate it when the humans write books about how we hide ourselves and not be direct about it.

It's too stupid, and quite frankly, too boring.

I decided to think of my hunts and the delicious taste of a Vampire's blood flowing down my throat. That seemed to do the trick. I exposed my sharp fangs to him, and ran my tongue over them slowly. His eyes widened again, and his heartbeat quickened. I scented his worry, his uncertainty and fright.

"What the hell?" he breathed, taking a few steps back. "That's some sick trick!"

I frowned. He was amazed. That didn't work, so I decided to use the only thing that cannot be faked. I super-speeded to him and because I was in front of him before he blinked, I saw how he staggered back and gasped. His heartbeat was really going.

"Obviously, I am not human. What else do you think I am?" I smirked, stepping forward when he took a step back. I continued to do this, until he bumped into the wall. Nowhere to run. He didn't answer, probably too shocked to even think. I rolled my eyes and stepped closer to him, but he suddenly slid down to the ground. That was fine, too, because I ended up pinning him down to the ground and straddling his waist.

"I'm not human— I don't act like one, so what does that make me?" I hissed this time, but it was a playful and teasing hiss. He made it fun and interesting for me to mess with him.

"V-Vampire." he almost choked on the air he breathed in.

I looked at him with a blank face and frowned. "Really?" I tilted my head to the side and rolled my eyes. "What gave it away? Was it the fangs, because I always try to keep them hidden. Or was it the speed. I wonder how you figured it out."

He began to struggle, so I grabbed his wrists and pinned them beside his head. "No moving." I smirked. "What's your name?"

"Why the hell do you want to know?" he glared, yet he was so frightened. Oh, so he wouldn't take me seriously just because I am a female? How sexist. Then again, he's brave, just like my Warrior.

I hissed in annoyance, exposing my sharp fangs in the process and purposely wanting to prove my point. He froze, his eyes locked on my fangs as though he was anticipating the time I bury them in his flesh. That won't happen, because human blood doesn't excite me that much.

"Just because I am a girl, doesn't mean I am not dangerous. Don't underestimate what I can do." I warned.

He took a deep breath. "It's Jonathan." he said through gritted teeth. I breathed in deeply, tightening my hold on him again.

"Your full name." I asked quietly. He looked at me strangely, as though he was trying to figure something out, but then he sighed when he saw the blank look on my face.

"Jonathan Rey."

It's not him. I knew it. Why did I think it'd be him— he'd be him? But just because it's not him, doesn't mean I'll stop.

"Are you going to tell me yours?" he asked quietly, trying to look into my eyes when I lowered my head down. I looked at him, alarmed yet entertained.

"Why do you want to know?" I asked with a grin.

He rolled his eyes, then scoffed. "I should at least know the name of the girl who broke into my apartment, turned out to be a Vampire who ended up pinning me against the floor."

"People call me different things." I said, gathering his attention again. "There's Rina and there's Jewel." I waited, wanting to know what name he'll call me. He was silent, looking at me calculatingly.

"What's your actual name?" he wondered. I froze and looked at him, confused. Why would he want to know my actual name? Hardly anyone calls me by my name because it's so different. If only my mother wasn't so obsessed with jewels and the name Rina. Ugh, why mother, why? But if my name is one of a kind, then why not?

"Jewelrina."

When he was looking at me quietly, I loosened my grip on his wrists and looked at him with a raised eyebrow. He was just looking at me quietly, not saying anything. Was my name that awesome that it left him speechless?

"I get the feeling that hardly anyone calls you by your name, so I'll call you that." he whispered, his eyes not leaving my eyes.

"Why?" I questioned, my eyebrows coming closer.

"Because your name is unique and it sounds nice. Plus, I think there're too many people calling you other names that sometimes you forget what your real name is."

He caught on. I looked at him, just as silent as he was. It's strange how he actually caught on. This human seems different to those I meet, yet he doesn't seem so different from my Warrior. I leaned down closer and I noticed how he tensed and tried to move me. I gripped his wrists again, and glared at him.

"What're you doing?" he questioned, frightened as he looked at my fangs. I guess I forgot to contract them. I calmed down and willed for them to shrink back to normal. I leaned closer to his lips, feeling our noses brush slightly. His heart was thumping and he was anxious.

I won't hurt him, seriously.

The moment our lips touched, he went completely rigid. My soul wasn't excited or happy, my skin wasn't warming. I kissed him with more aggression, and when he didn't respond, I rubbed against him until I could finally feel his body heating. He soon gave up and began kissing me back, his lips going with the speed that I wanted. He tried to pull back, but I would only hiss and tighten my grasp on him.

But he didn't cause any feelings to form in me. I was still feeling empty and bored, just like I usually feel. I was still feeling defiant and fierce. He wasn't making me feel content, or scared, or even have a feeling.

He felt like another prey.

The only things that I was able to enjoy were the warmth of his body, his human heartbeat and his sweet scent. In my arms, underneath me, he seemed so weak and vulnerable, and that somehow excited me. Even though he wasn't as much of an addictive drug as Sebastian, he was still very easy on the eye, and he was really pulling me into him without even trying. He was wanting me let go of him, to leave him alone, but I couldn't do that because his warm skin and his beating heart were just clouding my senses.

Vampires are very weak to pleasure, we don't have any restraint or resistance like Purebloods.

I slid my lips away from his lips, down to his jaw and then his neck. I could feel the blood rushing in him, his body was becoming warmer by the second. He was groaning, unable to control himself. It's not possible to resist my seduction.

The only person who can at least escape it is Sebastian.

When I knew I had messed him up enough, I pulled my lips from his skin slowly, then I stood up and moved a few paces away from him. He quickly sat up and pulled himself against the wall. He looked confused and afraid. It made me confused, but I didn't think too much into it.

"I'll be back another time." I smirked, and before he could blink, I vanished.

It felt strange, I wanted him to know me, to feel something towards me. But he was wary and different around me. He just wasn't what I expected him to be. I thought he was going to be scared and give into me, but he didn't. He was still brave. The only way I was able to make him defenceless was using my seduction on him.

I walked around carelessly, not knowing where to go. I know that I can't go back to Sebastian's place, it's just not a good choice to make because if I go back to Sebastian's place, I might not be able to see the human again.

"You seem awfully excited."

I stopped and snapped my head up, my soul whispering quickly inside my chest. He was leaning against a nearby wall, his arms crossed and his expression one of murder. Those deadly eyes, those ice blue, almost very light silver eyes were chilling to the bone.

"Tell me, Jewel," he pushed himself away from the wall and stalked slowly to me with a predatory gleam in his eyes. "Why do I smell him all over you?" he smirked, but it was so alarming that I actually took a step back from him. He noticed, raising a perfectly shaped eyebrow which stopped me in my place.

"I was with him, Slade, of course I'd smell of him." I replied calmly, keeping my distance from him. The last thing I want is for Sebastian to do something that'd hurt me, because honestly, I don't want that.

"What did you do with him?" he glared.

"Nothing much, we just talked." I lied easily, but I hoped he wouldn't detect it. However, his eyes narrowed more, and his smirk grew bigger as he stepped closer to me. He dipped his head in the crook of my neck and inhaled deeply, then he travelled up to my lips and hovered there for a moment.

"Just talked?" he hissed, looking so irritated. I knew he figured it out, Sebastian isn't someone who can be fooled.

"Fine," I sighed. "We didn't just talk. I introduced myself and then... kissed him." I whispered, keeping a cautious eye on him. I thought I heard his heart miss a beat, so I strained my ears to focus and pick up anything else that would warn me. I glanced down to the ground, but I didn't miss his balled fists twitching.

"Where is the human?" he spoke calmly and I gulped. I could almost feel the waves of anger rolling off him.

"Why do you want to know?" I finally lifted my head and glared back at him. What was he trying to accomplish? Knowing him, he won't be going over for some biscuits and tea.

"Do you want the details?" he asked, tipping his head to the side with his smirk, and I nodded. "I'll go over," he began, looking into my eyes. "We'll talk. I might cut a few limbs off before I pull his heart out, but you know, if I'm feeling generous," he paused, his smirk widening as he leaned closer to whisper in my ear, "I might just let him bleed to his death."

My eyes widened and I felt my jaw slacken a little. My body's temperature seemed to be colder than usual, and I only noticed my fists quivering by my sides. My soul was whispering loudly, very loudly, and my mouth suddenly felt dry.

If he said he wanted to kill a Vampire, I would've thrown him a party, but a human isn't something to be killed thoughtlessly.

"Slade, you can't!" I hissed, pushing him away from me.

"Why not?" he glared as he placed some distance between us. "That human is keeping you from me. Killing him would surely bring you back to your senses— back to me."

My left eye twitched when I hissed again and took a step closer to him, only to slam a hand at the back of his neck and pull him into me roughly. Our lips collided with urgency and fury, and the kiss was anything but gentle and slow. His heartbeat was quickening, his blood was rushing and making his skin warmer than it was.

I missed the feeling of his lips against mine, and just when I thought it couldn't get anymore addictive, he hooked a hand behind my neck and pulled me into him closer, opening his lips and kissing me with such need that made me hiss with delight. We were pushing our lips closer to the other, our heads angling and our tongues smashing against each other.

It was a shattering kiss, a kiss that made me realise just how much I've been craving his touch for these past few days.

I tried to pull away from the kiss, but Sebastian would only tighten his grip on the back of my neck and let out a playful hiss. I hissed back, but mine was one of a warning. I pushed him away from me just a little and breathed in sharply when I saw how erotic his face looked. His eyes were dark blue and glazed with desire, his lips were slightly swollen and he was breathing a little heavily.

It was such an arousing sight.

"Please, Sebastian." I whispered, fisting my hands together when I felt a pang in my chest. I need to remember that I shouldn't be having those feelings. I shouldn't care, but I did, and I couldn't hide my feelings. His eyes went back to normal, but his face held an expression of hurt and sadness.

I don't want to hurt him, I don't want to make him sad but I really don't want to leave the human just yet. I want to spend more time with him, I want to understand him more.

"Please," I whispered again, taking a step back. "Don't follow me around for a while."
