Jared's Pov 

"Jared.....help" was what I hear back I tried and tried to link her back but every time I did I got nothing...I know she needed my help but if I couldn't get through what was I going to do... I eventually passed out in my office, with the thought of her on my mind.

I woke up in a panic to the sound of my phone ringing it was 3 O'clock in the morning who was it!?!

"Hello Alpha Jade" I answered in a tired voice 

"Hello...this is another anonymous tip...be careful when you mind link her, in the realm it send out a brainwave shock...and can do more damage than intended...she is not a vamp...so it will hurt her..." and then the voice cut out, I took out my notebook and wrote the information I had just gathered down, I realized I was exhausted and made my way to my bedroom when I was hit with the overwhelming scent of my mate which woke me up, then I saw it...a blanket small but it had her scent on it it was dark blue and there was a note attached.

"Jared, I found this and thought it might bring you some comfort...WE WILL FIND HER! and you both will be so in love with each other it will be perfect, try to get some sleep"

I took off my shirt and wrapped myself in the blanket breathing in her scent and eventually falling asleep, dreaming of the day I found my beautiful baby 

Lily's Pov

I woke up and looked around the room, sitting up I realized I had a pounding headache, and realizing how hungry I was as if it was made to happen a girl with red curly hair about the age of 14 came in with a tray of pancakes, bacon, and toast I thanked her taking notice of the bites on her arm , she looked like a vamp but you could tell she wasn't she didn't speak but left the room for me to eat, after I ate I set the tray on the desk next to my bed and the girl came back in and took it, moments after Erica came in to get me ready for the day

"did you enjoy breakfast miss?" she asked

"It was very good, but the girl..what's wrong with her," I asked as she pick out my dress she was silent for a moment before answering my question

"well..to be honest, she caused trouble so the masters had to...well teach her a lesson?" she said helping me into a pastel blue dress

"you mean..they took out her tongue.."I questioned

"no no no, they have other methods," she said taking out the bottle of the vamp chemical and injecting it into my arm, I winced 

"I'm sorry miss, I hate to have to do this to you but...orders are orders," she said with a sympathetic expression on her face I nodded understand as I finished getting dressed she told me that today I was to study the ancient history of the realm of the dead. 

I stayed in the library for a couple of hours reading other everything from human slavery to poems writing for vampires and their victims I read one to myself

I felt eyes on my back and I looked up to see Erik staring at me, I gulped with fear but tried to give him a gentle smile

" I see you are doing to studying," he said walking to the place I was sitting on the floor

"Um yea..I just thought since I know very little it would be nice..to uh learn" I said tucking a piece of hair behind my ear

"I see, well if you need anything please feel free to ask, I know the place like the back of my hand and I would be honored to help," he said looking down at me

"thank you, and I will" I said going back to my reading and he left me to enjoy the history, but really I was looking for something anything I could use against these nasty sons of a bitches for everything they had done, for everything they threatened to do I was going to get out somehow

After about two hours of finding nothing I realized I was hungry and went to the dining room and realized it was the begging of lunch, taking a seat by myself two maids poured my tea, and asked what I would like after I told them they went to get it, sipping on my tea I couldn't help but think of Jared..what was he doing right now?what is he wearing?does he miss me?..I shook the last thought out of my head I couldn't think of such things like that right now I needed to focus on not getting myself killed, but then I remembered last night his voice and the mind link, I would try again tonight not now...not with the risk of passing out again.
