Sam's POV
Brand and I walked inside looking at the boys who were talking all at once about the map.
"Lowest point nothing Micheal! Let's go! Now!" Brand shouted scaring all the boys.
The girls came in screaming, Andi had pushed me away from Brand and onto the ground. Andi had clung onto Brand terrified.
"You should've seen it, it was absolutely terrifying" Andi said.
The boys took this as there chance and ran to the basement stairs, stopping before the first step. The switched the lights on which exploded and sent sparks. Brand had taken his arm from Andi and helped me up. He wrapped his arm around me keeping me close, I smiled liking that he's holding me.
Maybe he likes me, like I like him. I thought to myself.
"Mikey let's go" Brand said sternly.
"Brand, please. A couple more minutes wouldn't hurt" Mikey begged.
"No Mikey! Now!" Brand shouted.
"Brand, just give him a few minutes" Andi said giving him a flirtatious smile.
The boys ran down the stairs and we followed after them with Andi and Stef behind us. Their was a loud growl scaring everyone, Brand held me closer to him keeping me safe.
"Chunk, I hope that was your stomach" Stef said.
"No that's the it" Mikey said.
"Sounds like Kong" Chunk said standing next to Mikey then quickly stepped back.
"Part of it's human, wanna see it?" Mikey asked looking back at us. Everyone besides me shook their heads.
"It's chained to a wall" Mikey said, I frowned that's horrible!
Mikey walked towards the room with us following close behind. He opened the door and everyone was hesitant, I left Brand's protective hold and stepped forward.
"Sammy" Brand said grabbing my hand, I looked at him and smiled. He pulled me back to him and leaned in. We both leaned in, his lips were so close to touching mine but then the 'it' chained to the wall growled, scaring the younger boys which sent them trying to run.

Brand and I landed in a chair, his arms wrapped around me. We both smiled, he likes me! I thought squealing inside. We leant in again but we didn't get a chance to kiss.
"Shame, shame we know your name" Chunk and Data said with smiles. I sighed and rolled my eyes and got off Brand them helped him up, he wrapped his arm around my waist keeping me close to him.
Brand switched a light on and it didn't explode. Mikey was doing something weird with a metal bar, Brand left my side and went to go deal with Mikey.
Mouth had made another smartass comment towards Chunk which made him angry. At the sudden movement the water jug tipped over and smashed on the ground.
"You klutz!" We all said.
"Hope it's not a deposit bottle" Chunk said sheepishly.
"This is insane, I feel like I'm babysitting and not getting paid" Stef said to Andi.
"Wait listen to that!" Mikey said and everybody went quiet.
"What?" Mouth asked, the water was rushing down something.
"Sounds like my grandfather taking a leak somewhere" Mouth retorted.
"No, no there's something deep like a hole or a passageway it's deep" Mikey said looking at the fireplace, Brand crouched down besides him and moved the logs to see a drain.
"I told you!" Mikey exclaimed, I smiled and rushed down besides Brand placing my hand on his shoulder.
Brand pulls the metal bars up and throws it to the side. A nice cool breeze struck me and I smiled.
"You can feel the air, there's something down their" Brand said then put his foot through the wood breaking it and we looked down and could see a passage down there.
"Fifty dollar bill, fifty dollar bill!" Data exclaimed we all stood up and raced over to him.

"We've got the money to save our homes!" Data exclaimed we looked at the sheets of money everyone was excited.
"Wait! Hold up quiet" Brand said we looked at him, I noticed the look on his face and my mood changed. I scrunched the paper up in anger and sighed.
"It's fake, it's not real" Brand said following my actions.
Stef has picked up a newspaper and came down to us.
"You guys I recognise these people" she said showing us the paper.
"It's the Fratelli's" I said.
"Hey that's the guy from upstairs" Chunk said.
"And that's the guy who tried to sing" Mikey said pointing at another guy.
"See you guys you never listen to me, I said I said that there was going to be trouble. See, you guys, you never listen to me. But you didn't listen to me, you guys are crazy you know. You guys are self destructive, there's a funny farm and it has your names written all over it, but I'm gettin' out of here tha...." chunk raved on but stopped talking and looked like he was smelling something.
"I smell ice cream" he switched a light on and jumped up trying to look through the window. He then opened the door and began raving over the ice cream.
We all slowly walked closer, my heart was pounding there's a body in the freezer. Brand held me close to him, Chunk finally realises our faces and questions us. But then the body fell on him causing him to scream.
"It's a stiff!" He shouted, we got Chunk away from the body and it dropped on the ground. Our terror was cut short by footsteps, we all huddle together trying to keep quiet. Brand had his arm wrapped around me and I held his hand.
We listened to the Fratelli's argue and fight. Dust falling from their footsteps.
"Pizza" Chunk said.
"Shhh" we all hushed.
"Pepperoni" he whispered.
"Shhhh!" We hushed again, Stef put her hand over his mouth to keep him quiet.
We picked the body back up and placed it back in the freezer and closed the door accidentally on Chunk. But we didn't know it then.
We all rushed down to the way we came in, Brand was holding my hand as he ushered his brother over.
"The fireplace Brand, It's the only way out. You guys will never get out that way," Mikey said quietly.
"What?" Brand asked letting go of my hand and grabbed his brother.
"It all starts here" Mikey said quietly.

Despondent Divinity
There exists a Great Seal which split the world in two, one half ravaged by the Darkness, the other a safe haven of Light. Since the collapse of the old world, 20,000 years have passed, and the world watches on as their only protection from the Plague of Plagues slowly dissipates. Only the strong may survive the oncoming Demon horde, and the forgotten prince, Jack Calmira, fears he may not have what it takes. In a world where weakness is punished by death, what are weak men to do? Author's Note: Expect a chapter or two every month, but I'll get faster eventually. This story isn't a Wuxia, but it has a lot of eastern influence. The MC isn't OP and is flawed. Less action, more character driven. Constructive criticism would be appreciated as it's my first story. Chinese culture has inspired a lot of the novel, but much of it is an amalgamation of different cultures, some made up and some not. Think Xianxia + Shounen with a mix of western and eastern fantasy elements.

A World With or Without Aliens
Nothing matters. It's not my opinion, it's a scientific fact. This is neither good nor bad, it just... is. I watched my entire country burn, fried on a patriotic pan after some jerk fired a bunch of nukes at the docile fleet of alien ships hovering over us. Who gave this moron such power? I don't know. Everyone involved is most likely dead by now. As for me, I can't die. I feel pain like a normal person would (I think), but no matter how terrible the conditions, I will never die or pass out. Fortunately, a lot of alien technology survived its crash to Earth, so I get to spend some time playing with it until Mr. Author gets bored and decides to screw up my life. Beware, this has a "harem" tag. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the main character and am therefore subject to this novel's timeline. While this bars me from the sweet ignorance of Chapter 1's me, it does have other perks... for example, I can tell you that heroine number one is personally responsible for kil-!? H-hey, back off! I'm your character, so if you didn't want me to be like this, then you should've written me differently! Randomguy here! In all seriousness, this novel is meant to explore the concept of nihilism as a post-apocalyptic/supernatural-scifi/satire told from a nihilistic introvert's first-person perspective. As you heard from my unsettled main character, each heroine is going to be a different type of horrifying socio/psychopath with dark motives and dangerous abilities (most of which are psychological). Why would I do something like this? Because I am, in reality, a nihilist who is often frustrated by weird things, like unrealistically dramatic stories, the industrialization of art (specifically music), and people who think swimming in brown creekwater for five hours is a "fun" activity. Don't get me wrong, neither me nor my character are depressed, we're just malcontents who make a lot of nerd references. I feel like the true essence of an "everything is worthless" perspective is lost on most pop-culture figures. The closest character I can think of at the moment is Rick from Rick and Morty, who is a drunk, angry nihilist that experienced tremendous loss. I, personally, find this belligerent state of mind to be very relatable, and have incorperated it into every chapter's introduction. Here, the main character talks directly to the reader (and me), shamelessly complaining about some semi-relevant facet of society, which probably doesn't make much sense... it's not really supposed to, though. These "angry nihilist" moments are just a peak into the main character's everyday existence, and also act as miniature rage-journals for me. It will sometimes take a subjectively 'positive' turn, but not very often. This is because reality isn't good or bad, "it just... is". I will eventually bring it full-circle to optimistic nihilism, since that seems to be a more practical way to live (and by "practical", I mean "doesn't create mental health issues"). It is, of course, a satire. I did this because most unnecessarily emotional moments or people usually make me feel kind of awkward, so I decided to mock them. That is, I plan to mock the characteristics about them I don't like in characters based solely off said characteristics. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my story!

Sacrificed in Thirty Seconds
A somewhat unusual reincarnation story, where the main character is thrown into a new world and tries to survive. It is a combination of survival/adventure. I wrote it as a fast-paced, action driven story. If you like slice of life, or extensive descriptions, it is probably not for you. This is my first book here, I will not remove it, but do not expect anything special.
