Meera's eyes filled with happy tears. She never expected that he will give such a big surprise. She opened the jewellery box and found a Mangalsutra(wedding chain) and metti (toe ring) inside the box.
She took that in her hand and her heart was overwhelmed with happiness and her eyes searched for him. She closed the box and ran in the direction where he went. She searched for him but couldn't find him anywhere. She searched him and finally found him standing there starring at the sunset. She didn't waste even a single second, ran towards him and hugged him from behind. The hug was very tight and her freely flowing tears wet his shirt.
He slowly turned towards her without breaking the hug and when he completely turned towards her, he hugged her close to his heart. His mood lightened and happiness bloomed inside him. "I'm sorry for not listening your words" she sniveled and snuggled more into him.
"Please don't cry Meera. I don't want to see you in tears" he said by patting her back. "Are you angry with me?" She asked without looking at him. "Why should I?" He asked. "I didn't listen your words and hurt by my actions" she said sadly. "No Meera. I'm the one who hurt you more. Will you forgive me?" He asked by looking into her eyes. "Forgiven" she said with a smile.
"But how you came to know about that Pallavi's plan?" She asked in confused tone. "Aarav helped me in that" he replied. "Aarav! He is my friend" she said with excitement. "Yes and he is the one who informed me about their plans" he said with smile. "Do uncle and aunty know about this?" She asked sadly. "Yeah, two weeks ago I revealed the truth and they were shocked to know their true identity. My mom couldn't tolerate their betrayal" he said sadly.
"Don't worry. Atleast now they identified their true colour right. After this they will be happy" she said with smile. He too nodded with a beautiful smile.

"But why she planned to kill me? We didn't confess our love and how she learnt about it? How Aarav came to know about this and why he directly contacted you?" She listed several questions without giving a gap. He took a deep breath and sat on the sand by resting his cheeks by his palm. "What happened Krishna?" She asked worriedly. "We are talking after long time that too I proposed you for the first time. You didn't answered for my proposal but you're continuously asking all those worthless questions. I'm thinking about our future. How unromantic!" He said sadly.
"I just asked my doubt and what you're expecting me to do?" She asked crossing her arms. "You don't know what you should do, right. That's what I said. How unromantic my future was!! If Pallavi was in your place, she might have done all naughty things. How sweet it would be" he said by acting like imagining the scene. That's it, she lost her cool and searched something.
"What are you searching?" He asked, she took a big stone in her hand, he guessed what is going to happen next and started running from that place. "I won't leave you today. You're going to die in my hands" she said by chasing him.
He ran fast and finally stopped near a tree. She too reached him and raised her hand to hit him. He caught her hand delicately and she dropped the stone once he touched her hand. Before she could withdraw her mind from its far places, his arms were around her waist with their eyes locked.
She stood there like a statue. He bent down, his lips against her cheek, brushing it lightly and still that light touch sent shivers through her nerves, shivers that made her whole body tremble. He slowly reached her ears and whispered "I love you" which made her more nervous and her heart beat multiplied thousand times.
He looked at her face. "Meera look at me" he said. She opened her eyes to look those beautiful black eyes. "Will you be with me forever?" He asked like a kid. "I'll. I'll be with you forever. I'll be your side in your every success and failure. I'll be there for you to take care of you. I'll be there to shower my unconditional love which I saved for you all these days" she replied from her heart. He heard the words what he wanna hear for long days. He pulled her more close like her lips was just an inch away from his. "Then marry me?" He said like his lips brushing her's.

She nodded and he took it as her acceptance, without a delay he slammed his lips on her. He kissed her gently. She smiled once she felt his lips against her and accepted it by encircling her arms around his neck. The kiss was slow and passionate, later it grows deeper.
He kissed her with all his love and desire. It shows how much he missed her all these days. She felt like the whole world have turned upside down! The others disappeared and there she was alone with him. She kissed him back, he smiled and when he felt she is struggling for breath, he broke the kiss.
She blushed and hidden her face in his chest. At that moment, he felt how heaven would really be. Nothing feels better than when you love someone with your whole heart and soul and they love you back even more. He hugged her more tight feeling the bliss moment.
Sunset and blooming flowers made that environment more romantic. They was in that position for a long time and they came to their sense once rain drop hit their face. They both opened their eyes and felt rain drops on them. The rain started to drizzle.
"Hey! Rain in this season is really surprising" he said looking at her. "Yes" she said happily enjoying the drizzling rain. "You love rain, right. Once you told me" he said with amusement. She nodded her head like a small kid getting excited seeing a chocolate. "You are looking so cute" he said by pinching her nose. "You too" she said by squeezing his cheeks. He pecked her lips and they both started enjoying the rain. Slowly the drizzles changed into a big rain. The rain smell made them felt heavenly.
He shook the branches of the tree and rain water from the tree sprinkled on her. She jumped in excitement and enjoyed the heavenly feeling. He caught her hand and she happily prisoned in his arms. He took her in his hand, she rested her palms on his shoulder, raised her head, closing her eyes, she kissed the rain drops falling directly on her face. No rain ever seemed her so romantic as of today.
They was like that for a long time and finally the rain slower down and blessed the beautiful couple. He slowly dropped her down and kissed her forehead and sat on his knees. "Meera, now I promise you. I'll be there for you in every situation and I won't leave you alone even a second. You'll be my first priority and I'll be there for you to take care of you in every situation. Will you marry me?" He asked holding her hand.
She too kneeled down to his level, took his hand in her hand and replied "I will". "Then, you should accept this gift" he said by presenting a ring. She accepted it happily. When he made her wear the ring, he felt like she will be his possession forever and kissed her forehead. He rested his forehead on her like their nose touching each other.

Shaman
*** Let's get this clear now: the MC is a trans woman. This is not a gender-bender. It's set in a fantasy world but the exploration of identity and gender is reality-based. Not a joke, not a kinky turn-on. If this is a problem for you, please just act like an adult and look elsewhere for something to read. *** Rating breakdown, since that should be public info: 2 x 5*, 1 x 4.5*, 1 x 3*, no reasons offered. A human shaman and healer returns from several years with the mysterious shyani, accompanied by her shapeshifting puma best friend. A valued friend, from her previous identity as a male student physician, has acquired an old shyani book, and extremists will not tolerate its presence in human hands. But back in human lands, the question arises: which world does she belong in? Generations ago, human explorers found a continent inhabited by an utterly alien culture of shapeshifting weyres and the shyani, humanoids who prefer dusk and dawn. A truce of sorts was eventually reached: humans claimed the rich lowlands, and the shyani and weyres retain the highlands. Along the border, practicality often rules, but on either side, old grudges linger in some hearts. As a student physician, Corin tried to take his own life, unable to bear the countless tiny wounds inflicted over twenty-one years of lying to himself in order to be, or pretend to be, socially acceptable. At the last improbable instant, intervention came, in the form of a spirit fox, who led him away from the existence he’d known in the lowlands and into the highlands. There, a puma weyre rescued him, and a shyani shaman helped him find his true self and offered a rebirth, a life with no more lies, and an important role to fill. Now a shaman and healer in her own right, Vixen who was once Corin learns that the one human who mattered to her in her previous life, then a fellow University student, has come into possession of an old shyani book, and the more fanatical shyani and weyres will stop at nothing to reclaim it and punish Jared. Even though it means going back into the lowlands and facing Jared as a woman, she can’t bear to just look the other way. This should be a short visit, just long enough to see the book into the proper hands and make sure Jared will not be killed for having it, and then she can return to the shyani community that has accepted her as their shaman. And, of course, her feline best friend Dayr insists on coming with her. But Jared is now a Lord, with considerable wealth and power, and his response to her presence isn’t one she expected. After years living with the shyani, she sees everything around her from a new perspective, and that makes it difficult to keep to the plan of making as few waves as possible. As an honoured guest in a highborn house, with only Jared aware that she has ever been anyone else, Vixen finds herself questioning where she belongs: with Dayr and the shyani, who accept her gender without question but have to make allowances for her differences, or with humans, in the culture she grew up in even though her past would mean a major scandal? *** Trigger warning: there are scenes of Vixen's previous life, which include some difficult moments and culminate in an (obviously unsuccessful) attempt at suicide before she finds her true self and a better life. Please be careful! This is the ONLY reason for the "Traumatising Content" tag.*** Complete stand-alone novel, 96K words. Also available on Scribble Hub and as a free ebook.

A Portal Fantasy Comedy Poem
Mix an adolescent shepherd boy in love with a girl who wants to meet existentialists, a Viscount in need of an adventure, and a bland psychic. Add in a flippant god. Put them in a land made up of the after-lives of various different cultures. Stir gently. Sprinkle in some random Midgard Serpent, Genghis Khan, Scheherazade, and a cussing mocking bird. Fry lightly. Season to taste and serve with desired garnishes. Bon apetit! A comic fantasy poetic epic, filled with misfits, slapstick routines, light romance, people shouting out the names of their battle skills before using them, old philosopher dudes running around naked, a very serious lamb, demonic knitting, battery operated magic swords and even more traumatising stuff! I experimented with different styles in the beginning and finally settled on an ABABBCBC rhyme scheme (Give me your 0.5s. Gimme, gimme, gimme. I'm collecting them, seriously)
