Since I don't have your contact number, I couldn't contact you all these years. Now we met finally" he said with smile. Meera too smiled and gave him her contact number.

"Have you had your lunch?" He asked. "Yeah, just now" Meera replied with smile. His driver reached him and gave his mobile by saying call from his dad.

"Hi dad. Yea sure. I'll" he replied on phone and ended the call. "Sorry Meera, I have some important meeting, will meet later" he said with smile. "Yeah Aarav, sure. You carry on" she said gently.

He waved bye and took passenger seat in his car. He couldn't believe that he met her finally. In those years he was waiting for that moment very eagerly. His thoughts travelled to his school days where he met her first.

Seven years ago,

His father suddenly got transfer to coimbatore when he was in his 9th standard, Aarav was very upset since he will miss his friends. He packed his things without any interest. He is their only son and he will get whatever he likes to get in his life. His father was working in a well reputed company and he planned to start his own business soon. "Excuse me mam" there came a soft voice. He turned his face and looked the girl standing there with smile. He looked her without blinking his eyes. That girl came inside and sat at the bench next to his. She too looked at the new face of her class. She smiled and he too smiled in response.

In lunch interval, she came to him and introduced herself as Meera he said his name and she asked where he is from he replied he is from Bangalore and from that moment they became good friends. Meera, Aarav and Priya will always be together in school. They enjoyed their school days happily by each other's company.

Aarav is very good learner and he will clear Meera's doubt in all subjects and will give her tips for easy learning. She felt very happy by their friendship. She wondered how he learn Tamil very fastly and he too secured top score in Tamil language paper since he is from Bangalore. He said that Tamil is his favorite language and he learnt it with extra intrest in his previous school. Meera felt surprised and happy to hear this from him.

Days passed and he started liking her. All her actions made him to like her more. He admired all her innocent activities and day by day he fall more for her. Two years passed like two hours. When they were in 11th standard, his dad decided to start his own business in Bangalore.

Aarav felt happy that he is going back to his native place but suddenly Meera's thought made him sad. He decided to tell his wish to her but he is too young to conform that whether these feelings are love. He felt nervous to tell this with her so he decided to be silent.

Next day he reached his classroom and sat there sadly. Meera came to his place and asked why he is looking sad. He said that he is going back to Bangalore. Meera felt happy, since she knows he love to be in Bangalore.

"Super da. You always tell me that you are missing your native and friends na, now you are going to meet them again and going to be happy again" she said happily. His love for her increased by seeing her feeling happy for others happiness.

"Cheer up man. Don't be sad. Enjoy your days" she said with excitement. "But I'll miss you Meera, so only I'm feeling bad to leave this place" he said with tears. Meera felt bad for him and tried to console him. "You're my only best friend I got here and I don't want to leave you too" he continued.

"Hey, don't worry. One day we will meet again for sure. So don't be like a crying baby and smile like a 11th standard boy" she said with smile to console him. Finally he too smiled.

He left the place and reached Bangalore and he missed her more than he expected. In his college first year he visited her home where they lived but the person informed that they vacated the house. He felt disappointed. In that big city he don't know where to search her.

He left with heavy heart but still now she is the only girl who he couldn't forget all these years. Now when seeing her after four years he stood surprised in his place. His eyes and heart identified her in first look. Her nature didn't change in these years she is still like a small kid playing and enjoying rain.

He thought about their school days where they enjoyed playing in rain. His eyes looked her lovingly.

His heart reapeted her name and flooded with happiness. The day he was longing for came finally. He reached his office and looked over the issues.

Meanwhile Meera reached her room, she called her mom and said her mom about the day. She too talked with Priya and Initha. She felt happy since Initha was preparing for her civil service exams.

Finally she laid her head on the pillow and smiled since today she joined in her dream job and she is one step forward towards her goal. Also she met her best friend after four years. Everything made her happy and she switched on the television. She changed the channel and finally paused on a song channel.
