Pongal is the harvesting festival celebrated over Tamil Nadu for thanking and honoring every farmers. Every Tamilan celebrates pongal without any variation. This is celebrated for four days and each day is to thank the sources for agriculture. One is maha sangaranthi, One day for thanking Sun, second day for thanking Cow and Ox, third day for thinking farmers.
