Chirping sound of birds came like a melodious song. Meera opened her eyes and was confused about the environment, after few minutes she recognized that she was in her native place. Since she had a good sleep she forgot about the environment. She didn't find Maaya near her, so she thought she was late. She took a quick shower and got ready for the pooja held before marriage ceremony.

She came out of the room and searched for Maaya but couldn't find her. She went to kitchen where she found her aunt, Vimala. "Athama, where are the others?" She asked. "Meera, you woke up finally. Pooja started early morning dear. We tried to wake you up, but you was sleeping peacefully. So they went. Wait I'll call Shravan, he will take you to temple" she said with smile. "Why you didn't join them athama" she asked. "No one is here to see these arrangements dear, so I want to be here. You go there and pray well" she said with smile.

Vimala is Meera's favourite in her relative side, her father's only sister. She lost her husband in her young age but brought up her son as a single parent very bravely. Shravan is Vimala's only son, he is the groom, six years elder than Meera. He completed masters in Agri because of his love towards plants and nature.

He always care her like his own sister and will take her side every time. But with Maaya its opposite. They both were like Tom and Jerry, fighting and arguing evry time. Maaya always get irritated because of his teasing. She always prefer modern dress and modern lifestyle where he is a tradition lover and likes everything to be traditional. They always end up in fighting because of their dissimilarity.

It was a tradition to perform some rituals in temple before marriage, so everyone gathered in the temple.

Shravan reached home, "kuttyma, you finally waked up" he said with a smile. "Why you didn't wake me up maama? I'm angry on you" she said sadly. "You travelled long distance, so you was tired and slept peacefully. I don't want anyone to disturb your sleep, so only we left without waking you up. Now also its okay, you come with me, still some rituals are yet to be done" he said sweetly.

"Okay, as you are the groom I'm forgiving you. Come let's go" she said happily and went with him to their family deity temple. Meera loved that village atmosphere very much and she always like to visit there atleast once in a year.

Rituals were done perfectly and everyone's face indicated their happiness since it was the first marriage of this generation in Meera's family. All her family members gathered in the temple and everyone welcomed her with happy face and her cousins teased her for sleeping too long. Meera faked anger and finally everyone laughed and that became a happy moment. It will really be an excitement to meet our family members after long time.

After the rituals, they returned home and under Vimala's guidance there arranged a big feast. Food was tasty and everyone enjoyed the lunch.

After lunch, Meera went to see Shravan. He smiled at her. "Maama, I haven't met your bride yet. When will you introduce her to me?" she asked with excitement. "I too never talked with her, I will introduce after marriage", he said with a wink.

"What!! You haven't talked with her yet" she asked rolling her eyes. He blushed and bent his heads. "Maama, you are blushing. First time I'm seeing you like this. It's the most beautiful and rare sight ever, wait I'll capture it" by telling this she clicked a picture in her phone. He smiled wholeheartedly.

Another side,

Priya reached Theni along with her friends. She enjoyed the trip a lot. They got down from the bus and was amused to see the wonderful sight. His house was built in traditional way and it was located between fields and with beautiful and vast garden in front with several trees and herbs. Several kind of flowers were grown in the entrance. Priya looked everything in awe. She really loved that place.

Everyone was given a room. They freshen up and had their lunch. Priya requested Varun to take her for a tour around his village. "Are you crazy? You travelled nearly 9 hours. Don't you feel tired? Now you take rest, tomorrow let's see" he said annoyingly. "I'm not at all feeling tired, I'm excited to see your village. Pleaseee" she said adamantly.

"God!! Her one word and one sight is enough to shut me" he cursed mentally. "Okay. Wait, let me come" he said and went to his other friends to ask whether they are joining them but everyone rejected since they were very tired.

Finally he took Priya with him to show his village. Priya was overwhelmed with happiness to see all those natural scenaries. There she saw many flower gardens and several species of butterflies and honey bees rounding the flowers. Their music made the environment more blissful.

She couldn't believe that she was in the most beautiful place on the earth. She felt like she was in her dream world. It looked green wherever she turned her sight. One side a beautiful stream was running and sunlight reflection in the stream made it to look like a silver blade.

She remembered the words of Robert Frost when she looked at the most beautiful stream water. She played with the stream water, she turned and there she saw a bird near the stream, her eyes widen. She never seen that bird so far, its wings were dark blue in colour and it's body was in orange colour.

She know it's name, she thought for a while and got its name. "Hey it's kingfisher" she shouted with excitement. "Yeah, its kingfisher but please don't shout. It will fly then, it is here for its food. So be calm" Varun said in calm tone. Priya smiled and signaled him that she was silent. Varun smiled at her childish actions. She clicked some pictures of the bird.

Next he took her to show river, it looked so alluring. Her eyes twinkled like a kid looking a room full of ice cream for first time. She saw some people on boat. She requested Varun for a boat ride. He agreed, she jumped in excitement. She went for a boat ride and enjoyed the entire ride. She enjoyed the bliss of nature meanwhile Varun capture her every action in his video camera.

He never seen a girl like her who enjoys every small thing and being calm in every situation. He smiles at her every action. Then he admired her peaceful face which was missing all those days. She already came out from that incident but something was missing in her till that but now everything turns good and she looked like most beautiful and happiest soul on the earth. Varun mentally thanked God.

She reached river shore after the ride. "You should have also joined with me, it was really a nice ride. I enjoyed it" she said with twinkling eyes. "If I come with you, then who will capture this blissful moments" he asked by raising his brow. "Really!! Then show me. Show me. I wanna see" she asked playfully. He show the video he captured in his camera. She felt excited to see those clippings. They are very natural and candid.

"Okay Priya, its getting late. Let's go home" he said by giving his hand for her to get up. She caught his hand and stood up with joy. They both returned back home and their other friends too freshened up and there was rituals for marriage function. Priya joined with other friends and took part in the celebrations.
