Jack charged towards her, time was so achingly slow at that moment. (Y/n)'s eyes widen as Jack got closer and closer before he was right in front of her, she could feel his breath on her face. It was hot and smelled of blood, she shivered. hugging her body with her slim arms, she stared into his black voids. They stood there for a second before a deep growl emitted from Jack's stomach, making him growl as well. He stood up to meet her, he hovered over her figure as he brought his clawed hand up to her fragile cheek. Her heart raced with fear, he wasn't in the right mind and she didn't know if he was going to hurt her or not. He was in a different state of mind than before, he was hungry and losing it, no one knew what he was going to do. "Jack?" the woman's voice echoed through both of their ears, only one of them seemed to calm a little. His body loosened but didn't stop from setting his hand on her cheek, she flinched. Jack waited for her to calm before setting his claws on her cheek, her eyes widen even more if possible. He quickly scratched her cheek, blood pooled out of the cut, blood stained his claws. (Y/n) yelped as he did so, she brought her hand up to touch the cut but Jack stopped her by grabbing her wrist.
"(Y/n)..." His voice was as before but she knew he wasn't all there, his hunger was slowly taking over. Tears slowly fell down her cheek, (Y/n) looked down to Jack's feet, not wanting to see his face. Jack let go of her wrist before placing his hand under her chin, bringing her head up to look at him. He stared blankly, seeing her fear in those (y/e/c) eyes made him stop for a moment, Jack raised his other hand to his mouth. He licked his clawed hand that dripped with (Y/n)'s blood, she stared as he did so. She couldn't move from fear, she did love him but it was hard to tell if he felt the same, she valued her life now because of him and if he were to kill her, it would beat the whole point of this. A sudden feeling of something cold on her cheek snapped her out of her trance, Jack had licked her cheek where the cut was. It stung as he did so, causing her to flinch once again by his touch. "I'm so...hungry." His voice shook with fear, he seemed to snap out of his trance and looked to her. She smiled weakly before bringing her hand to his cheek, softly stroking him with her thumb, he leaned into her touch. "I'm s-sorry...I...I need to get..F-food." He gasped as he seemed to hold back something, (Y/n) sighed.

"Ok, take me Jack." She whispered to him, he snapped his head in her direction, confusion all over his face. Jack's eyes showed his hunger but he denied that he wanted to eat anything of her, sweat dripped down his forehead. Jack shook his head before pushing her away by her shoulders, he looked away. "No, I'll find something else to eat." Jack stood back down on his fours, (Y/n) tilted her head before stepping closer to him but Jack just kept the distance by stepping back. She sighed once again, not knowing what to do. Suddenly Jack perked up a little, he turned to face her again before grabbing her arm, (Y/n) yelped. Jack pulled her over onto his back, she immediately wrapped her arms around his neck as her body lay on top of his back, stomach pressed against back. "Hold on tight-" (Y/n) didn't get time to question before Jack spud off into a direction, (Y/n) gasped. the wind blew in her (y/h/c) hair, brushing against her skin with a breeze. For the first time in a year, she felt happy once again, she had finally got to see Jack again and forever this time.
"Jack-"
"Not now, please." Jack's voice was shaky again, he was losing control once more. (Y/n) reached up to her cheek, brushing against the cut on her cheek to catch any blood. It still leaked but not as much, she took her hand of blood before reaching down towards Jack's face. He turned his head for a second to see but looked back again, (Y/n) kept her hand down at his face. "(Y/n)? what are you doing?" Jack finally asked, (Y/n) smiled. "You need your strength, sorry it's not enough-" Jack cut (Y/n) by licking the blood from her hand, she blushed a light pink. Not expecting him to do that, she stayed there in shock. Jack chuckled, knowing he surprised her. His laugh was so soft and carefree sounding, (Y/n) couldn't help but laugh, retracting her hand back around jack's neck.

(Y/n) sat on the couch of her house, she had gotten ownership of it when her mother had passed a couple months ago. She was waiting for Jack to come back from his "hunt", he was quiet when they last saw each other which confused her. (Y/n) had hoped that they would hug and talk the rest of the day but it just ended with her getting almost killed while Jack almost starved to insanity, it had been a rough year for them both. (Y/n) was knitting a scarf, she had been learning over the past year as a calming exercise but she just ended on liking it and got more into it. The fabric was soft to the touch with a warm thick coat, she had been working on it for weeks but it was almost finished. The color was a dark inky black, it reminded her of Jack's eye sockets, they were big black voids deep enough to get lost in. She had gotten lost in them so many times before that it was permanently stuck in her vision, not that she minded anyway. After an hour or so, the front door creaked open.
(Y/n) sighed before setting down her supplies, getting up to walk over to the door. She could smell blood from the hallway but didn't mind, it was a natural smell for her now. What she was expecting was Jack in his normal form, tired and beaten up but ok. But she didn't expect to see a young man in black clothes, he had familiar black hair and bright red eyes. Two large scars ran down his eyes from his forehead to his chin, her eyes widen as she recognizes him. The man looks up at her, their eyes lock, he smirks before speaking.
"Hello, we meet again."
