AUGUST 4, 1989
- - Third Person - -
Three days later, Rylee was released from the hospital, she just has to take the pills the doctor prescribed to her, and be careful with what her breathing is at, for example, she has to pace herself when running or else she'll lose her breath really fast.
She still has that huge bandage on her side, it'll be there for a few weeks tops, the doctors say her wound is healing quickly, which everyone was grateful for
"IM FREE BITCHES!" Rylee screamed as she walking out of the hospital with the losers, but immediately regretted yelling when she started wheezing and coughing
"Jesus Ry, you just got out of the hospital, let's not go back in." Richie joked, patting her shoulder
"Guys.. I'm like Ed's now." Rylee joked, holding up her inhaler that the doctors gave her, "Oh my god, Eddie we can go on dates to get-"
"Oh shut up Rylee." Eddie cut her off
"Jeez, okay." Rylee mumbled
The losers walked down the street of town, everyone walking ahead of Richie and Rylee. The day had gone great, Rylee got outta the hospital, the losers hung out all day, Richie and Rylees parents got thrown in jail and they're gonna be there for a long time after Rylee told the police everything they'd done to her, but then hit Rylee like a train, "Rich.."
"Yeah?" Richie smiled, then turned to his sister and realized the scared look on her face "Hey, hey what's wrong?"
"Where are we gonna live..?" Rylee mumbled "Mom and Dad are in jail, and they deserve it, but.. where are we gonna go?! Aunt Jill and Uncle Gene are dead, both of our Grams and Gramps are dead, and Ma never had siblings.. WE DONT HAVE ANY FAMILY! Richie where the hell are we gonna go?!"
By now the losers had all turned to the Toziers, Richie looked at his sister and his eyes widened, he didn't realize that. "Shit.. where are we gonna go?" he mumbled, then hugged his sister tightly, "W-We'll find someplace, okay? We'll go somewhere safe, alright? We're gonna be okay."
"I wasn't g-gonna say a-a-anything until tomorrow, b-but here.." Bill stuttered and pulled something out of his pocket and handed it to the Tozier twins
Richie took the papers in his hands and read the biggest part of them, and his eyes widened "Really?"

"What? Here gimme 'em." Rylee sniffled and looked at the papers "Holy shit Billy, really?!"
Bill nodded and smiled, Rylee and Richie ran to Bill and hugged him tightly "Thank you Billy! Jesus christ thank you!"
"What?! What's going on?" Ben asked
"His parents took full custody over us. Me, Richie, and Bill are officially family you guys!" Rylee smiled widely and showed the losers the papers
"We're still Toziers though, right?" Richie asked "Cause I can't be known as Trashmouth Denbrough, that doesn't sound right,"
"Rich, we're still Toziers. We're still known as the Tozier Twins, Trashmouth Toziers, and losers. Nothing's changing except for where we live, and now we'll have parents that actually care." Rylee smiled
"Ice cream party?" Mike asked the losers
"Ice cream party." The tozier twins said at the same time
The losers all cheered, except for Eddie, "My mom wants me home, I'll see you guys later." he said
"Ed's, wait, can you take these to my place for me on your way home?" Rylee asked, holding all the gifts everyone got for her
"Yeah.." Eddie mumbled and took everything for her hands and ran in the direction of his house
"What the fuck.." Rylee mumbled
"He's just on his period, come on Ry, let's leave him to cool down and we'll visit him later okay?" Richie said, wrapping his arm around her shoulders as the losers, minus Eddie, walked to the ice cream place
——————————————————————
After ice cream, the losers parted ways, all going to their separate houses, Rylee and Richie were the only ones left walking, since Rylee isn't allowed to ride her bike for a while
Rylee has been unusually quiet, even while they were with the losers, she usually joins in on Richies jokes, but this time she didn't, she was worried about why Eddie was acting like he was
Richie knew she was upset, so he tried to help her cheer up, "Wanna go see if Eddies calmed down now?"
Rylee nodded her head quickly and smiled a little bit as they siblings walked down the sidewalk
The twins reached a spot on the road that they could see Eddies house, and he was sitting on the front porch, not alone. He had a girl with him, a pretty girl, with long blonde hair, and blue eyes
Rylees eyebrows furrowed, and Richies eye widened, "Maybe she's related to him..?" Richie suggested

But he didn't think that when the blonde leaned closer to Eddie and closed her eyes, puckering her lips. Richie dragged Rylee away before she could see anything else
Rylee didn't know if Eddie had gone through with it or now, but she was mad, and sad, she felt like breaking down and crying but she only let a few tears slip as Richie and Rylee walked in the other direction, towards their house
"I fucking told him, I told that fucking son of a bitch not to hurt you, I told him not to and he promised!" Richie yelled as they walked into their house and slammed the door "Ry? Are you okay? I-I get it if you're not, I mean considering-" he was cut off by Rylee storming up the stairs and slamming the bathroom door, locking it behind her
Richie ran up the stairs and banged in the door, "Come on Ry, don't- don't do what I think you're gonna do. We-We gotta pack to move into Bills, come on let's go pack."
Rylee stared at herself in the mirror as she cried uncontrollably "If-If he was gonna have someone over, he coulda just told me." She whispered "He didn't have to keep it a damn secret!" She cried
"Rylee please.." Richie begged silently from the other side of the door "Just let me in, I'll help you, come on."
Rylee shook as she unlocked the door and opened it, Richie stood there, tears streaming down his face, he held his arms open and Rylee ran into them,
There they were, the Tozier twins, two people who were said to never to cry, were hugging each other tight on the floor of their hallway, crying.
After about an hour of crying and hugging, Rylee sniffled and stood up, holding her hand out for her brother, "We gotta pack for Bills. Come on,"
Richie nodded and took her hand, standing up and they walked to their room packing everything they thought they'd need into boxes
Rylee packed all the clothes she'd had, all the photos she had, all of her dragging books with every drawing she's ever done in them, her toothbrush and toothpaste, her glasses case and cleaner, her pillow, her favourite blanket, and the teddy bear Eddie got for her, all the gifts the losers got for her, and grabbed some things from around her room and the house
Richie packed all the clothes he owned, all the photos he hid in his side of the room, his toothpaste and toothbrush, his glasses case and cleaner, his pillow, his favourite blanket, and some things from his wall and around the house
"You think we should bring a hair brush?" Richie asked
"Are you kidding? When do we ever brush our hair? Look how curly it is!" Rylee laughed
"Yeah.. you're right." Richie laughed too
"Think we got everything we'll need?" Rylee asked her brother
"I think so.."
"Wait! Money! Mom and dad have a bunch of money hidden in their room, Rich." Rylee reminded her brother
They set down the boxes they were holding and bolted into their parents room, going straight to the hiding spot for their money, and grabbed all of it, which was a lot.
They slept up the money so they each now had $700 and stuffed their money into their boxes "Now we have everything." Rylee smiled
A knock on their front door was heard and the twins set their boxes down on the floor of their bedroom and ran down the stairs to open the door, when Richie opened the door, Bill and his mother were standing there
"Need some h-h-help with your stuff?" Bill asked and smiled
"Yeah, sorry about the living room being a mess, our parents weren't very clean.." Rylee apologized
When Mrs. Denbrough walked farther into the house and up the stairs to the twins' room, out of ear shot, Bill looked at Rylee and Richie and noticed their eyes were puffy. "W-W-What happened? Why are your eyes-"
Richie cut Bill off with a look that basically screamed 'Don't ask' and he shut up
After all the twins' boxes were packed in the Denbroughs car, they all drove to the Denbroughs house and dropped all their stuff off in Georgies old room, "Welcome home, Toziers." Mrs Denbrough smiled and gave them both a side hug
"Jesus it's like he's still in here.." Rylee mumbled when Mrs. Denbrough left the room
Bill walked over to Rylee and noticed the tears forming in her eyes, "Oh come on Ry, you and Rich are the twin trashmouths, the Tozier twins, double trouble, you two never cry, why stop that streak of thirteen years, huh?"
Rylee laughed at Bill, "Yeah, we're too stubborn to cry, right Richie?"
Richie nodded and laughed, then Mrs Denbrough called everyone down for dinner
