- - Eddie Kaspbrak - -
When we found Rylee, I was terrified, I froze. I mean, what would you do if you found your best friend/crush, laying on the ground with blood leaking from a big cut across the side of her face?!
And yes, I did just say crush. I have a crush on Rylee Tozier. She's just so beautiful, her smile, her laugh, her eyes, her body, her hair, everything about her is perfect, even if she makes gross jokes just like her brother.
Rylee is the prettiest girl I've ever seen.
We all couldn't believe Rylee wanted to keep swimming after she got that bad of an injury, she looked like she was in pain, but was just hiding it. So after we were done swimming, I gave her stitches. Yeah, I know that's a lot of pain to go through and having a thirteen year old boy give you stitches would be ever more scary, but it happened. She tried to hide her pain at the start, but let the tears go anyway
If i hadn't stitched her cuts up she could've gotten infected, and honestly, Stanley wouldn't shut up about the blood.
Right now, Beverly and Rylee are laying on towels, wearing sunglasses, I think they're napping, I don't know. I'm focused on Rylee.

- - Third Person Point of View - -
The two girls were sun bathing while the boys stared at them, Richie, Bill, and Ben watched Beverly, while Eddie and Stan were looking at Rylee.
The girls felt someone looking at them so they both slowly turned their heads to look at eachother, smirked, and looked back at the boys. Once the boys realized they'd been caught, they all looked away, looking at anything but them.
Eddie fell off of the rock he and Richie were sitting on. Smooth. Rylee thought as she laughed at him.
"Newsflash Ben, schools out for summa!" Richie said going through Bens backpack
"Oh, that- that's not school stuff." Ben said
"Who sent you this?" Richie laughed, pulling out a postcard from Bens backpack
"No one! Give it." Ben said and snatched the postcard out of Richies hand and put it back in his book bag
"what's with the history project?" Eddie asked referring to the duotang filled with information in Ben's backpack
"Oh, well when I first moved here I didn't have any friends to hang out with so I sort of just started spending my time in the library." Ben explained
"You went to the library? On purpose?" Richie and Rylee asked at the same time
It's kind of scary how the two twins talk at the same time, with the exact same words coming out of their mouths, it freaks everyone out, even the rest of the Losers Club.
"Ooh! I wanna see." Beverly said standing up and sitting next to Bill, taking the duotang with information on Derry out of his hand
"What's the black spot?" Stan asked
"The blackspot was a nightclub that was burned down by a racist cult." Eddie explained,
"The what?" Stan, who was clearly confused, asked Eddie

"Don't you ever watch Geraldo?" Eddie asked
The two boys continued asking stupid questions, Rylee tuned the two boys out and listened to whatever Beverly, Ben, and Bill were talking about
Bill has always been close to Rylee, they all have. But Eddie, and Bill were her best friends, other than her brother.
"Y-y-your hair.." Bill started, trying to compliment Beverly
"Your hair looks beautiful, Beverly." Ben told the confused girl
Beverly smiled and looked down at her newly cut hair, "Oh, yeah. Thanks."
"Yeah now we're short hair buddies!" Rylee told her
"Here, pass the damn book over here. Why's it all murders and missing kids?" Richie asked, looking through the duotang in his hands
"Derry isn't like any town i've ever been in before. They did a study once, and it turns out people die or disappear six times the national average." Ben explains
"You read that?" Beverly asked the young boy
Ben nodded, then continued, "and that's just the grown-ups, kids are worse. Way, worse. I have some more stuff at my house if you wanna see it" he offered
Eddie was the only one that didn't want to, be shook his head rapidly.
"Oh suck it up Ed's, you can't get diseases at Bens house! Now hurry up and put your shit on." Rylee told Eddie

Once we all got to Bens house, he practically flew off of his bike and into his house. I laughed, "Someone has a messy room."
Everyone ignored me, probably for the best. I tuned out everyone's conversations as we walked into the house, I noticed the absence of Stanley, so I turned around, looking out the door, "Oh, c'mon Stanley, no one cares if you put the stand on your bike up! Now come on!" I yelled at Stan
"I care, Ry. I don't want to ruin my bike an have to use some junkyard bike or even worse, ride on the back of one of you idiots' bikes." Stanley said as he caught up to me, everyone else had already started up the stairs
I rolled my eyes at Stan, "You love me, you can't deny it Stannie."
"Only sometimes." Stan told me,
"Don't lie." I said in a sing-song voice
"Yeah yeah," Stan mumbled, giving me a hug and a kiss on the top of my head, "all the time, loser."
I gave him a big smile, as we caught up to the rest of the boys. Stanley and I have always been close, kind of like me and Eddie, but the whole group are my best friends, Bill, Stan, and Eddie are all tied for best friend other than my brother
"Yeah, I heard he has a rollercoaster and a pet chimp and an old guys fucking bones." Richie yelled as we walked into Bens bedroom
"Woah, woah, woah, Wow!" Richie and I said at the same time,
"Cool, huh?" Ben asked all of us
"No! No, nothing cool. Wait no, this is cool, wait nevermind, it's not." Richie and I said at the same time

Ben looked at the rest of the group, "Do they do that often?"
Everyone nodded, "I-I-It gets kind of s-s-scary sometimes." Bill said, making everyone nod again
Richie and I smiled proudly, "It's another one of our many talents" We said at the same time, everyone rolled their eyes and looked around the room
"What's that?" Stan asked, pointing to an article on the wall
"Oh, that? That's the charter for Derry Township." Ben told Stanley, who was genuinely curious
"Nerd alert!" Richie exclaimed
I rolled my eyes at him, "You literally look like a nerd."
"You look just like me!" Richie fought
"They do that often too." Eddie told Ben, referring to mine and Richies arguing
"It's- It's actually really interesting. Derry started as a beaver trapping camp." Ben told us
"Still is, right boys?" Richie and I yelled, raising our hands up, waiting for a high five from any of our group, but they all just rolled their eyes, so we gave eachother a high five, shrugging while doing so.
"Ninety one people signed the charter that made Derry. But later that winter, they all disappeared without a trace." Ben explained
"The entire camp?" Eddie asked
Ben nodded, "There we're rumours of indians.. but no sign of an attack. It's like one day everybody just woke up, and left. The only clue was a trail of bloody clothes leading to the well house." he explained further
"Jesus." I mumbled
"We could get Derry on Unsolved Mysteries!" Richie and I joked
I felt a small tap on my shoulder, I turned around and saw Eddie, "Can I, uh, can I talk to you for a minute?"
I nodded, and followed him out to the hallway, "What's up Eddie spaghetti?"
He cringed, "Okay, never call me that, i-it's weird,"
"Did you just stutter?" I teased
"N-no.." Eddie stuttered our
"Yes! You did! You just did it again, dipshit!" I almost yelled,
"Just.. Shut up, Ry." Eddie said, he had an irritated look on his face
"Aw Ed's don't be mad." I told him, realizing he really didn't find it funny "What were you gonna say?"
"What was that, with you an Stan?" Eddie blurted out
"Huh?"
"Don't act dumb with me Rylee! I saw you two, are you guys dating or something?" Eddie kept going, he honestly look hurt, almost jealous even.
"Eddie, no me and him, are not dating, he's just a really close friend, nothing more," I told him, though he didn't listen
"Oh please! I saw him kiss your head." He whisper yelled
I looked back to the room to see if anyone was listening in on us but they were all occupied, thank god.
"Ed's, it was a friendly kiss on the head, not any thing e-" I was cut off
"Whatever, Rylee." He said, and went back to the room with the rest of the boys
"Ed's-"
"Don't."
I sighed and walked back into the room, talking with my brother for a while, and Eddie ignored me the whole time, what the hell.

- - Third Person - -
When the group all left Bens house, Ben stayed at his place, Stan biked home with Bill, Beverly biked back to her house alone,
Rylee and Richie rode their bikes, Rylee complaining about how Eddie ignored Rylee when she tried to talk to him, even though she didn't do anything. Richie he felt bad for his sister, getting mad at Eddie, though.
Eddie did feel bad but she made him jealous. God I sound like a three year old. He thought to himself. He just got really jealous when Stan kissed her on the top of her head, he just really likes Rylee.
Eddie was walking down the street, trying to ignore the big creepy house on Neiblot Street, he honestly hate that place so much, it's just so disgusting.
Eddies watch beeped, it scared him a bit so when he jumped, his pills came out of his fannypack and broke out onto the pavement. "Oh fuck, my moms gonna fucking kill me." he mumbled picking up the pills
He was about to reach his hand out for the last pill on the ground, but a disgustingly dirty hand picked it up, "Do you think this will help me, Eddie?"
He screamed, like a little girl, and ran towards the house, away from the walking infection, and tried to get away, he found himself at a fence, trying to get out.
"Where you going Ed's? If you lived here, you'd be home by now." A high-pitched voice said from behind the teenage boy, Eddie turned and looked at the clown, who was holding a bunch of balloons. "Come with the clown Ed's, you'll float down here. We all float down here!" The clown laughed
Eddie screamed, turning around towards the fence again, trying to find a way out, he found a hole in the fence, but just before he climbed out, he heard a loud popping noise, he turned back to where the clown once was, only seeing balloons popping. Eddie got back up and ran home after that.
Rylee and Richie were now sat in their room, Rylee ranting about how Eddie won't talk to her, and Richie trying not to get up and run to Eddies house and hit him. Their parents were gone away for a few days, so they'd have the house to themselves for at least three days, if not, more.
"He thinks me and Stan are dating! All because Stan kissed the top of my head when we were joking around." she continued
"He was jealous, Ry." Richie told the girl
"Jealous?! What the hell would he be jealous of?!" She yelled
"Oh, my fuck! You, my annoying sister, are very oblivious." Richie said
Rylee rolled her eyes and threw a comic book at him, "Keep your shit off my bed."
"You should tell Bowers to keep his shit outta my backpack." Richie joked
The two laughed the rest of the night, until they both passed out.
The rest of the day for Richie, Rylee, Stan, and Eddie was peaceful, but for Beverly, having blood splashed around her entire bathroom, and for Bill to see his little brother, in the cellar, with a clown, wasn't their idea of peaceful.

At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.
