The boys, including Ben, were lined up at the edge, playing loogie, in only their underwear. But I was sitting on a rock, still fully clothed except for my socks and shoes, reading my book.

"Lay it out." Eddie said, and Richie spits into the water, then Stan did the same

"Oh, my god." Richie mumbled, then Bill spat, "so easy." Richie continued to say, next Ben spat, "so easy!" Richie exclaimed, next Eddie spat, and it didn't even go to the water, it landed at his feet. "Oh, MY GOD! That was terrible! I won!" Richie yelled

"You won?" Eddie asked looking at Richie, along with the other three boys

"Yeah." Richie said confidently.

"Did you see my loogie!?" Eddie questioned with his usual high pitched voice going even higher

At this point I had put my book in my bag and started watching the boys argue, it's really fun to watch. I heard a sound from behind me and I turned to see Beverly standing there. I put a finger to my lips, telling her to be quiet, and motioned for her to walk over to me. When she got to me, the boys were still arguing

"Mine went the farthest!" Richie yelled

"It's by distance." Ben joined into the argument

"They always do this?" Beverly whispered to me

"What? Fighting? Yeah, Me, Richie and Eddie argue all the time, it's hilarious." I told her in a quiet tone

"Mass. It's always been mass." Eddie fought

"What the- What even is mass?!" Richie yelled, dear god he's an idiot, I don't know how he even got into the eighth grade.

"Who cares how far it goes? It matters how cool it looks! Like if it's green, or white and juicy and fat." Eddie explained

"All right." Bill said

"Thanks for that." Eddie said

Beverly and I were trying our best not to either vomit or laugh due to how disgusting and funny this argument is. The boys haven't even noticed Beverly got here, I think they forgot I was here too.

"Who's first?" Bill asked, looking down at the water

I looked over to Beverly and nodded, she started taking off her dress and I started taking off my shorts and t-shirt, leaving us in only our bra and underwear. "We'll go." I said and the boys turned around to look at us, I gave a sarcastic smile and grabbed Beverlys hand, running him her past the boys and jumping off the ledge, "SISSIES!" I yelled as Beverly and I jumped

Just before we hit the water, I heard Richie yell, "What the fuck! SHIT! We just got shown u by TWO girls! AND ONE OF THEM WAS MY SISTER!!"

I laughed as we hit the water, once I got to the surface I yelled, laughing, "Come on! You guys are being pussies!"

Bill jumped first, but not before waving at Beverly and yelling "Woooo!" as he jumped

Next Stan jumped, he was screaming like a little girl the whole time and flailing his arms around, he looked ridiculous, it was fun to watch.

Then Ben jumped, landing right next to Bill and Stan, and the three started swimming towards me and Beverly

I looked up to see Eddie shaking his head at Richie, I couldn't hear very well from how far down I was but I could hear Eddies voice echo from the water, thank god cause it was hilarious "I can't do it Richie. Nope, not doing it I am NOT doing that." he told my brother, who was shaking his head and laughing at him

"Just jump Eddie!" Richie yelled, "It's not that hard! Look even Stan did it!"

"Hey!" Stan yelled from down here, offended

I patted his back, "It's alright Stan, he's just trying to get Eddie to jump down." He only nodded and I laughed a little

"I'm not doing it, nope. Nuh-uh, nope. Never doing that." Eddie kept saying, Richie rolled his eyes and did exactly what I would've done,

"Alright, come on." Richie mumbled and wrapped an arm around Eddies shoulders

"What- What are you doing"

Richie didn't reply, instead he started running, bringing Eddie with him due to him having an arm wrapped around Eddies shoulders tightly.

The boys fell off the ledge, Eddie screaming while flailing his arms like he was trying to fly, and Richie laughing at him. I couldn't stop laughing. When the two boys came up from underwater, Eddie yelled "YOU IDIOT! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?! YOU ARE SO STUPID RICHIE THATS NOT FUNNY!"

"It is pretty funny Ed's." I said, defending my brother and still laughing at my best friend "You should've seen yourself" I laughed

I swam over to my brother and gave him a high-five, "I would've done that too." I told him

"I know. That's why I did it." He laughed with me

After a few minutes of everyone just swimming and splashing eachother with water, I yelled, "CHICKEN FIGHTS!" which got everyone's attention, "Teams are, Bill and Beverly, Ben and Stan, Me and Richie, and Eddie, you can go with someone after they lose to me and Richie."

Richie and I have always been really competitive with everything, sports, arcade games, who can make a better joke, anything. Plus, we always win. Confidence is key.

"Aw that's no fair! Richie and Rylee can be together, they always win like that!" Stan yelled

"Exactly Stan" I said "around one, Bev and Bill, vs, Ben and Stan." I watched Beverly get on Bills shoulders and Stan on Bens shoulders "GO!"

Beverly and Stan started pushing eachother, while Ben and Bill just tried to keep balance. Stan has always been good at chicken fights, he usually won, unless he was against me or Richie.

After a minute or two, Stan fell off of Bens shoulders. "WOAH STAN LOST TO SOMEONE, AND IT WASN'T ME?!" I yelled as Stan came back up to the surface

"Alright, Bev and Bill against me and Rylee." Richie said going underwater, letting me get in his shoulders. I'm an inch shorter than Eddie, so I'm pretty short, so I'm always on someone's shoulders for chicken fights.

"GO!" Stan yelled

Beverly and I grabbed each others hands and started pushing, I will admit, Beverly is really strong, but so am I. After a few minutes, Beverly and I let go of our hands and went straight for the shoulders, pushing back and forth.

"COME ON RYLEE!" Richie yelled from under me

"I'm trying, just shit up Richie." I yelled at him

Bill, and Ben were cheering for Beverly, and Richie, Stan and Eddie were cheering for me. After a few more minutes of endless pushing, I got Beverly off of Bills shoulders. "THE TOZIER TWINS STRIKE AGAIN!" Richie and I screamed at the same time

"Alright alright, shut up you guys always win." Bill said

"Yeah because we're strong." I said, still on top of Richie shoulders

"Okay okay, uhhh, Stan, Lemme on your shoulders." Eddie said pointing at Stan

"Me? Why me?" Stan asked pointing at himself

Eddie shrugged, and Stan went under water to let Eddie on his shoulders.

"Anddddd, GO!" Bill yellled

Eddie grabbed my wrists before I could do anything, this was one of my moves, this bitch was stealing my strategies. "Learning from the master, I see." I said, flipping my wrist so now I grabbed both of his hands at the same time and started pushing

"How'd you do that? No ones done that to you!" Eddie yelled

"I'm a god at this game, Ed's, you should know that by now.

We were pushing at each others hands, but Stan had a death grip on Eddies shins, and they were standing strong, but so were me and Richie.

"Rylee you're not really losing to the shrimp are you!?" Richie yelled

"Shut up, Richie, or I will hit you." I threatened my brother, who instead of making jokes, started cheering for me

"I'm not a shrimp." Eddie mumbled

"You kinda are." I said pushing a little more

"You're shorter than me." he said, pushing the same as me

I let go of his wrist and started pushing his shoulders, him following the same action, "I'm older than Richie."

"By two minutes!" Richie yelled

"Still older, Rich. But you're still younger than me Rylee." Eddie told me, sticking out his tongue

I stuck out my tongue at him too and made silly faces, "You're a child." Stanley told me

"I mean, I am. We all are. We're all under seventeen, aren't we? That means, we're still kids." I fought

"Teenagers." Stanley corrected

"You're still twelve, shut up Stanley." Richie and I said at the same time

Stan mumbled something that I couldn't understand so I put my concentration back to Eddie, who was still trying to push me off of Richies shoulders, which wasn't working. "Hey Ed's is that your mom?"

"Nice try, Rylee. You would've had a different reaction if my mom was here." Eddie said, it's true, Mrs. K doesn't like me at all.

"Eddies mom wouldn't be able to get down here, have you seen her?" Richie laughed, making me laugh too

I looked back at Eddie but he was looking down at Richie was a mad expression on his little face, I took my chance and shoved him a little harder, making him fall off of Stans shoulders, taking Stan down with him.

"VICTORY!!" Richie and I yelled

Richie dropped me from his shoulders, making me fall into the water, but Richie grabbed my arm and dragged me back up to the water, giving me a hug

For the next hour or so, the boys, Beverly and I all just swam around, right now Bill, Beverly, and Ben were all having a conversation, Eddie and Richie were splashing water at eachother and fighting like always, and Stan was just laughing at Eddie and Richie. I smiled, then turned around as I heard my name in a whisper.

When I turned, I caught a glimpse of a small figure in a yellow raincoat running behind a big pile of rocks, Georgie. I swam over to where the pile of rocks were and climbed out of the water, looking around, I didn't see anyone. "Rylee.." the voice whispered again, I turned around and saw Georgie, in his yellow raincoat standing right in front of me.

"Georgie?" My voice came out barely even a whisper

I was far enough away from the rest of the losers for them to not hear me, plus I was behind a big rock pile, so they couldn't see me either. "Where've you been little buddy?" I asked, my voice still quiet

"Waiting for you Rainie." Georgie said, he used my nickname. Everyone used to call me Rainie, but Georgie was the one that started it all when he was younger and couldn't pronounce my name. Georgie and I were always really close, he used to have the biggest crush on me, it was cute. I spent a lot of my time with Georgie before he went missing. After I heard he was missing, I wouldn't let anyone call me Rainie. No one. "I miss you Rainie. I miss Billy and Richie and Eddie and Stanley too. I miss hanging out with you guys."

"We miss you too Georgie." I whispered, to say I was confused would be an understatement, he's been missing for nearly a year, and now here he is, perfectly fine. Somethings wrong, how could Georgie just show up?!

"Can I come play? I wanna float." he said

"Huh?"

"We all float, down where I am. You'll float too Rainie. You'll float too!" The boy yelled, stepping closer

I was too shocked to say anything, I took a step back away from him, he just kept repeating that one sentence, 'You'll float too' over and over again. I don't usually get scared, but right now? I was.

Georgies sweet little voice turned demonic sounding and deep, until he suddenly stopped, and started laughing. I closed my eyes "This isn't real, it isn't real, this isn't real." I repeated over and over for ten seconds, then opened my eyes, only to be met with something much, much worse than a demonic Georgie, a clown.

"Hiya Rainie." the clown said in a high pitched voice

"Don't call me that, only Georgie can."

The clown frowned, then smiled, showing two large rows of razor sharp teeth, it's eyes turning from blue to yellow. "Fear." It whispered

"What- What are you" I asked

The clown laughed and stepped closer to me, making me take another step backwards, causing me to fall into a wall of dirt

The clown stepped closer and closer to me until it grabbed my face in one hand then raised its other hand, showing five dirty, long, sharp fingers. It smiled at me, then scratched me across the face, leaving a deep cut running from the middle of my cheek to just above my top lip. I whimpered, it hurt so fucking bad.

"You bitch." I growled

The clowns smiled went away and It's faces turned serious, before putting both hands to my neck and started choking me, I blacked out.

I stopped splashing Eddie with water when Stanley mentioned Rylee wasn't with us, where'd she go?

Rylee has a thing where she gets curious and will wander off, not saying a word, but just wandering around, one time she almost got hit by a car for it.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and started calling Rylees name, even Beverly and Ben. Even though we just met those two they seem to care a lot about her already.

"Rylee?!" I yelled, genuinely worried about my sister, she's my best friend, honestly she's the only family member I have that knows I even exist. "Rylee?! Rylee please this isn't funny!"

Eddie and I swam over to where a huge pile of rocks were stacked, once we got to the land my eyes widened. My sister was laying on the ground, eyes closed, with blood coming from a long claw mark from her cheek to her top lip.

How the hell did she get a scratch like that. That wasn't the only thing going through my mind, I was just worried about my sister.

"W-What the hell?!" I yelled and ran over to Rylee "please be alive, please be alive, please be alive." i mumbled

Rylee moved a little bit, groaning, "Rich?" she asked

"Oh thank god." I mumbled "What the hell happened and HOW?!" I said referring to the marks across her face.

"Did you guys find Ryl- OH MY GOD" Stanley yelled coming around the corner with Bill, Ben, and Beverly begins him

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." Rylee said and stood up, "Can we pretend I don't have this on my face and have a good day?"

"Yeah.. sure." Eddie mumbled

"Great, c'mon losers!" Rylee yelled running back to the water. Well she's not changed at all.
