《Rain✔️ (Wattpad version)》Attraction

I walked in carrying bags when I saw Wade. He was sitting on the couch. I didn't know he would be here. I brought the bags into the kitchen and set them down.
I started to put things away when Wade came into the kitchen.
"Nice tats," he remarked.
"Thanks, did you need something?" I asked him.
"I needed a drink of water," he said to me.
I walked over to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water, handing it to him. He took it from me.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him.
"Mr. Hardwick wanted to see me," he answered.
"What about?" I asked him curiously.
"He wanted to know if I corrupted Rain because she's swearing and sarcastic," he said.
I gave him a look as he grinned. I shook my head. I walked closer to him and whispered, "I asked you to be nice to her, not make her like everyone else."
He gave me a look. "I am nice to Rain, but I know she needs to fit in with everyone else," he replied.
"She need not fit in; she's born to stand out. That makes her unique," I told Wade.
"She said we should date," he mentioned as I gave him a knowing look. Then he winked at me. Wade is the flirty type.
He turned and left the kitchen as I shook my head.
When Tony told me Rain's dad wanted to see me, I was hoping Cole would be there. As I sat on the couch, he walked in, and I used needing something to drink as an excuse to talk to him.
I walked into the kitchen, surprising him. I knew he wasn't expecting me. Heck, I wasn't expecting to be in his house. I knew Cole was Rain's older brother, but we had to act like we didn't know each other. It was the same as her pretending like she didn't know me in front of Tony and Ade.

We exchanged words, then I left. One day, we wouldn't have to hide things. It tired me of hiding something.
Cole came into the living room, holding a cup of coffee, and I asked, "Did you kiss Wade?"
He dropped his mug and looked at me, shocked as did everyone else.
"Isn't that what two people do when they like each other?" I asked them.
"Well, yeah, but they don't just kiss out of the blue," Dad explained.
"Isn't that what you did with Mom? Isn't that what Uncle Jaime did with Uncle Reed?" I asked them.
"Well, uh," he stammered.
"I tricked your Uncle Reed into kissing me," Jaime said to me.
"Not helping Jaime," Dad said.
"You walked up to me in school and kissed me," Mom said to him.
"I led you away then kissed you," he corrected her.
"Oh, right," she agreed.
"That's not the point, and you're not helping Honey. Anyway, people usually get to know each other before kissing each other," he explained to me.
"Then they should go out and get to know each other. The other guy Cole is talking to is too pushy. He wanted him to tell you he was gay," I said as Cole stopped from cleaning up his mess and looked at me.
"Rain, Cole isn't one to broadcast things," Luke said to me.
"Why? I don't understand why someone would want to be with someone pushy and not nice," I told them.
"Rain, what do you mean, not nice?" Antonio asked me.
"Well, this guy at school always calls me names and says I'm weird. Then I saw him with Cole. He said I bothered Cole because of always needing help and that Cole felt I was a nuisance," I told him.
They all looked at Cole.

"Whoa, wait a minute. First, I never said that. I don't even talk much. Second, Percy is a doof. We went out twice, and he kept pushing me to tell everyone that I'm gay. I don't know why he thinks I need to come out of the closet when I was never in it, to begin with," he said emphatically.
"So, you don't have an issue with your sister?" Mom asked him.
He rolled his eyes. "Yeah, Rain's annoying, but so is Luke."
"Hey!" Luke exclaimed.
"It's true," he shrugged.
"This is going so well," Dad said to Mom sarcastically.
"You just spoke sarcasm," I said, excitedly while clapping my hands.
"This is way better than those lame-ass shows you force me to watch," Jaime said to Reed.
"I will never live that down, will I?" Reed asked him.
"No," he answered.
"Can we get back to the matter at hand?" Dad asked everyone. We all looked at him as he looked at Cole. "Is Percy the one you had been talking to on the phone?"
"No," he said.
"Then who is the person you were talking to on the phone," he asked.
"Kellan," he said as we all looked at Kellan. Now it confused me.
"Is Kellan homosexual?" I asked.
"Not the last time I checked," Kellan said to me.
"Then I'm confused," I said to them.
"Cole was talking to me because he was trying to figure out how to tell his parents because our dads told us about them, which isn't a big deal," Kellan said as Craig nodded in agreement.
"Plus, Percy was threatening to tell your parents because Cole rejected him," he shrugged.
"Percy was blackmailing Cole, and Cole was talking to you on the phone, and I told my parents," I said.
"Yep," Cole said.
"Was that a bad thing?" I asked him.
"No, and you're right, that's why I'm not mad at you. Rain, you get on my nerves like most siblings do, but I would never choose someone over you," he explained to me.
I looked at him.
"Okay, I forgive you, but Luke still has to pick me up," I told him. He smiled.
"Unless you don't mind me picking you up and taking you home," Antonio said to me.
I turned to him, and everyone watched us.
"Why?" I asked him.
He stood up, "Because I want to be the one that drives my girl to school," he said sincerely.
"I'm your girl," I said, feeling surprised.
"Do you want to be my girl," he asked me with a look.
"Can we still kiss and hold hands?"
"Yep," he said.
"Okay, then I'm your girl," I announced. "Now, kiss me."
"Yes, ma'am," he said as he leaned in and gave me a sweet kiss in front of everyone.
I pushed him away. "Okay, that's enough. I don't want to get too crazy," I said as everyone laughed. Antonio shook his head and chuckled. He wrapped his arms around me as I hugged him.
"Cole, you need to ask Wade out," I told him.
"Why?" Cole asked me.
"Because he likes you," I said.
He just sighed.
I think Cole and Wade would be good together. Wade talks, and Cole doesn't. Someone needs to speak for Cole because he doesn't speak for himself. Wade could help Cole the way Antonio helps me; then, they can kiss a lot.
