《Pokémon Sun & Moon: Emethyst's Journey》Chapter 52

It had now fallen to night on Ula'Ula island in Alola. The moon was shining brightly in the dark blue sky. Pokemon cries stirred in the jungle of all kinds, as the stars twinkled brightly alongside the moon. It was nearing 11pm.
Meanwhile, the three grunts that Emethyst had the displeasure of running into on Poni Island were up to no good; Just as the rest of Team Skull always were. The three of them ran quicker than a quick attack to the Shady House, where Team Skull resides deep in the heart of Po Town.
"Alright, play it cool when we talk to Guzma, got it?!" The grunt's ring leader, Tupp spat at the other two grunts, before they walked into the second floor room where Guzma stayed.
"Got it, big bro!" The pink haired girl, Rapp exclaimed quietly. They all walked down the dark hall to where Guzma stayed. The house was dark, and was hard to see. Some other grunts laid sprawled out asleep on the hallway floor.
The three of them then reached the door to Guzma's room. "Alright, remember what I said, got it?" Tupp spat sternly.
"Got it." The other two said at the same time. They braced themselves.
The three grunts then opened the door, to be greeted with their leader Guzma sitting on his throne. Their admin, Plumeria, who they saw as their big sister stood by his right side.
"Yo, Guzma!" Tupp exclaimed as he walked up to Guzma, the other two following behind him.
Guzma gave him a dirty look. "What do you three numbskulls want?" He asked, as he looked straight at them.
"You won't believe this, Guzma!" The pink haired girl, Rapp exclaimed as they walked up closer.
Guzma rolled his eyes. "This better be good." He said, as he slunk down on his throne.

"That dimwit Kukui's daughter is in Alola!" Tupp exclaimed.
There was a sullen silence, as Guzma's look completely changed from dirty to angry. "Oh get out of here with that! No way!" He yelled at them, the grunts flinching in response.
"No, it's true! She's the spitting image of him!" Tupp exclaimed.
"We ran into her on Poni Island!" The chubby, dark green haired boy named Zipp exclaimed.
"The words came straight from her mouth! She had a Froslass that could mega evolve!" Rapp exclaimed in her girly voice.
Guzma sat up, and rested his elbow on his thigh. He propped his head up on his hand, as he took in what his grunts were telling him.
The admin, Plumeria, looked over at Guzma. "Kukui has children?" She asked Guzma. "Since when?"
Guzma gasped angrily. "Since fourteen years ago!" He yelled, angrily. He thought for a moment, and then she smiled evilly.
"What's with you?!" Plumeria exclaimed, as she scrunched her nose at him.
"So, that must mean the ice princess is back in Alola, too." He said, coldly and then smiled.

It was now past 11pm, and I was outside overlooking the beach from the hill where my dad's house was. The waves were crashing on the shore, and the moon was shining brightly. My dad and Ash had gone to bed, but I couldn't sleep because I was hyped and nervous for what was to come tomorrow. I snuck out so I could think. I had trained all the way up until dinner time.
Mimikyu sat perched up on my right shoulder; Which I assumed to be her favorite spot now. Gengar, and Froslass stood side by side with me as I overlooked the ocean. I took a deep breath, as I listened to the waves crashing on the shore. I was trying my hardest to calm down a bit so I could sleep in peace.

Mimikyu rubbed her cloth up against my face; I could tell she was trying to calm me down in her own way. I giggled lightly. "Thanks, Mimikyu," I said to her. "I'm just nervous for tomorrow." I said.
Gengar and Froslass then turned to face me. I looked at them, as I confided in them for a bit. "You three did amazing today training." I told them, as I smiled.
I then heard the front door open, to reveal my dad in his pink night shirt and white shorts. "Emethyst?" He said groggily, as he saw me straight ahead. "What are you still doing up?" He asked, as he walked over to me.
I turned to face him. "Oh, hey dad. Sorry, I couldn't sleep and came outside for some fresh air." I said. Gengar and Froslass turned to face him as well.
"I thought I heard you talking out here," he said. "You should at least try to get some sleep. You have a big day tomorrow." He added, and smiled at me through tired eyes.
I sighed. "That's kind of the reason I can't sleep," I said. "I'm nervous and hyped for it at the same time. I don't know what to expect." I mentioned, as I looked off to the side.
My dad chuckled as he walked over closer. "I actually don't think you have much to worry about, you know why?" He said.
I looked to my sides, confused. I shrugged my shoulders. "Why?" I asked.
My dad put his hand on my left shoulder. "To let you in on a little secret, Kahuna Hala specializes in fighting types. Ghost types aren't really effected by fighting, so you do have somewhat of an advantage." He explained.
"I already knew ghost types weren't effected by fighting," I said. "But, good to know." I smiled. That did calm me down a bit, but I was still excited.
My dad smiled back at me. "Come on, you need to get some rest." He said, as he coaxed me back to the house. Mimikyu cuddled up to my face, and Froslass and Gengar followed alongside us.
I yawned, as I felt my dad's arm wrap around my shoulders. I still didn't fully know what to expect for tomorrow, but I knew I had to get some rest or I wouldn't be able to function. My dad, myself, and my Pokemon walked into the darkened house.
"Get some rest, Emethyst," my dad said. "I love you." He said, as he pulled me into a hug.
I smiled up at him. "I'll try. I love you too, dad." I said. After what happened today; things were looking up. I was just hoping and praying something else didn't throw me back.
