Jake's POV
Our lips capture each other as they move in sync. Strong, powerful, demanding.
Full of love.
I'm so caught up in the moment that my nerves of being a virgin are almost gone from my head, into the vast area of the stadium around us.
Almost.
Then I remember something else that makes me want to kick myself.
My hands pause on the buttons of her pants but I grab her hips to keep her close. We're both breathless when she pulls away. Her forehead is scrunched and it's so adorable that I squeeze my eyes closed to hold back a moan.
"What's wrong?" She asks. "Why'd you stop? Did I do something wrong?"
"No. God no, Cas. You're doing everything right. That's the issue. I didn't bring anything to...I mean I didn't think you'd...we'd..." I open my eyes and look straight into hers. If we are thinking about having sex at some point, we need to be mature about this. "I don't have a condom, Cassie. And," and now onto the difficult part: "And I'm...I haven't...despite my 'player' reputation, I haven't actually...I'm still a virgin." I cast my eyes down as the realization passes over her.
"Oh. Well, I was too. I..." My grip on her hips tighten, and I move us so that we're lying on the turf beside one another. It's only now that I fully realize where we are and what we were about to do. Talk about friggin' unromantic, Jake.
"Shoot, Cas-"
"No, it's alright. Really. I want to; no I need to move past this...him. Fynn." It's me who flinches. "I need to be able to move past the fact that...that Fynn...I need to be able to move past the fact that Fynn drugged me and raped me." I open my mouth, but she shakes her head and re-buttons her pants. "And I will need to do that mostly by myself."

This is it. I've just ruined everything.
"But," she says. "There are somethings you can help me with."
"Anything," I breathe. Her eyes darken and she moves to straddle me. My breath catches deep in my throat.
She moves her mouth next to my ear before whispering, "You can help me with the trust." Her lips brush against my ear before she places a gentle kiss just below it.
"Absolutely," I somehow manage to respond.
She trails her lips down my neck until my body twitches in anticipation when she hovers over the spot on my neck that is on fire the most. "You can show me loyalty." She plants a soft kiss there, before her body slowly shifts down over mine. I know I won't be able to form any words, so I nod instead. Her mouth is slightly agape as it begins its journey down my chest. I clench my fists to prevent grabbing her. I need to prove I can show restraint, even when every – and I mean every – part of me is pulsing at her touch.
Her head moves to the area above my heart and I look her in her eyes to see her already staring back at me. "You can show me love." She must feel my heart already promising itself to her. She opens her mouth when she kisses here and her tongue dances slightly on the surface of my skin. My body jolts again, and my breathing becomes heavier.
Neither of us breaks eye contact as she continues lower. And lower. Finally, when her lips are just below my belly button, she stops. "And when the time is right," she plants a kiss there, and moves down an inch. "For both of us," Another kiss and down another inch. "We can both make love for the first time." Her lips find the band of my boxers and I gasp. I'm about to burst and her gaze gives me the permission I crave. I grab her and flip us over, my lips on hers, swallowing her gasp.

"Tell me when to stop," I grunt as I fist her shirt.
"Don't," she gasps back. Her hand moves down and she palms me.
"Cassie. You're. Killing. Me." My body betrays me as I lean into her, but this only seems to encourage her more.
"Jake..." She flips us again, taking me by surprise. My pants are already unbuttoned, so all she needs to do is pull them down. I try to stop her, knowing if she continues, I won't be able to stop until I get my release, but she's having none of that. In no time at all, my pants are long gone and all that's left concealing me are my boxers. I'm twitching when Cas looks up at me from under her eyelashes.
"Killing me," I wheeze.
"Can I...?" She glances down and I all but scream as I nod desperately. Soon, I'm completely free, and Cas stares down at me in wonder. "You're...wow."
I would have laughed but her hand is on me once more and that's all it takes.
This is the best night of my life.
