Meanwhile, Elijah had finally arrived home after helping Josephine and Marcel create the new safe house, and immediately after arriving back, he was very unhappy to find out from Ophelia, Hayley and Rebekah that Freya had left, "What do you mean 'She's gone?'" Elijah questioned the group of women in disbelief.
"Elijah, you don't understand. She was a risk--" Ophelia began to tell Elijah, who was quick to cut her off.
"She was also the only one who intimately the enemy we now face!" Elijah interrupted her quickly, clearly upset.
"Both of you, just stop it--" Rebekah tried to cut in, but Hayley decided to add in.
"Ophelia and I were protecting Hope from someone who it's obvious none of us completely trust." Hayley talked over Elijah, taking Ophelia's side.
"Correct, we've done nothing but doubt Freya." He reminded her, turning to Rebekah, who looked guilty, "Nevertheless, she kept her promise, and she saved your life. We certainly haven't demonstrated the same kindness towards her." He paused, turning to Ophelia, "And you. You let Klaus' doubt and distrust toward Freya get to you and now you are thinking exactly like him when it comes to her. You know what it's like to not to be trusted by your own family, yet you still continued to not believe her."
Ophelia rolled her eyes in frustration, knowing that Elijah was somewhat right, "So, what the hell do we do now?" She questioned Elijah concerned.
"There is a jazz club in Algiers by the name of the St. James Infirmary. Marcel has acquired it, and Josephine is fortifying it as a sanctuary against magic." Elijah explained before turning to Hayley, who didn't look happy, "Pack your things. Marcel will escort you and Hope there tonight at nine o'clock."
Hayley rolled her eyes, clearly not a fan of this plan, but before she could speak up, he then pointed to Rebekah, "You, wait with me."
"What for?" Rebekah asked her brother confused.
"If Freya shall return, we will be here. Now, whether we trust her or not, we cannot win this fight without her." Elijah instructed the group before turning to Ophelia, "And you, Ophelia, you must find Niklaus and make sure he will not ruin our plan."
"More like your plan," Ophelia retorted with an attitude, "And why the hell do I always get stuck on Klaus duty?"
Elijah ignored Ophelia's question and left the room, causing Ophelia to sigh in annoyance. Rebekah looked over at Hayley, who was frowning unhappily.

At Saint Anne's church, Ophelia was able to sneak up to the balcony that overlooked the ground floor. Klaus had instructed her to stay put there until it was clear that he and Mikael needed help. She hoped, of course, they wouldn't.
She remained hidden but made it so that she could see what was happening. Suddenly, the sound of the front doors opening echoed through the church and soon after, Klaus and Mikael slowly walked inside, taking note of their surroundings as they walked down the aisle.
"Well? What are you waiting for, you crone?" Klaus spoke up loudly, raising his voice.
Mikael and Klaus continued to look around, and Mikael tightly gripped the knife that Davina enchanted with Dahlia's weaknesses. Klaus quickly glanced up at the balcony, where he could spot Ophelia. She gave him a warning look and Klaus, who didn't want to give it away that she was there, quickly looked away.
Suddenly, Klaus and Mikael heard Dahlia's voice calling out to them as she appeared at the sacristy, causing Ophelia's eyes to widen in shock, "Now that you've arrived...not a thing!" She curiously tilted her head slightly, taking in the sight of the blade Mikael was gripping tightly in his hand.

Just then, Dahlia held up both of her hands to summon dozens of humans to enter the room, "Let us begin."
Mikael and Klaus looked around at the large crowd of people surrounding them, and Mikael chuckled, "We are well-met. So be it," he stated as he turned to Klaus, his step-son, "Are you ready?"
Klaus smirked at Mikael's question, "I was born ready."
Once Klaus had said those words, the two men vamped-out and began to lunge for Dahlia's minions. As they fought, Mikael and Klaus were able to snap the necks of many of them and tossed others across the room. They seemed to have the upper hand at first, but after a moment, Dahlia raised her hands and thrust them toward the crowd, which not only allowed her to use her magic through them, but gave them the ability to use the magic effectively.
Klaus and Mikael took out several other humans, but just then, one of the women raised her hand into a fist and gave Klaus a magical migraine. Shortly afterward, another magically-enhanced human ended up doing the same to Mikael, temporarily incapacitating them both. Once the spell was released, Klaus and Mikael panted for breath as they dropped to their knees, causing Dahlia to smile patronizingly, "Ah, I should have warned you!" She told the two men as they slowly rose to their feet, "My acolytes are rather formidable. I gifted them with a fraction of my own power..." One of the remaining living people telekinetically threw Mikael across the room, where he landed on top of a pew, which broke it into pieces upon impact, "...To help level the playing field."
Klaus furiously glared at Dahlia as he lunged for her, but one of the woman's minions telekinetically threw Klaus so high that he smashed through the railing of the balcony before falling forward and landing in the aisle below.
Mikael, who was still laying awkwardly on the remnants of the smashed pew, had lost his knife, which was laying several feet away on the floor. He and Klaus, who landed several feet away, pulled themselves up on their hands and knees and nodded at each other encouragingly before they got to their feet and got back into the fight.
They began snapping more necks of Dahlia's minions and fed on several more to give them additional strength, and despite Dahlia's magical enhancements, the two men eventually gained the upper-hand again. As they fought violently against the humans, Mikael and Klaus growled loudly.
Soon after, Mikael and Klaus were still fighting violently against Dahlia's minions, and had killed or seriously injured the majority of them.
Suddenly, it was as though the two men were starting to have trouble fighting off the lot of them, causing Ophelia to feel the need to use her magic.
Ophelia kept hidden as she balled her right hand into a fist before twisting it as quick as she could, causing the rest of them to instantly be killed with a snapped neck.
Dahlia smiled, looking up at the balcony. Ophelia tensed up, a feeling in her gut consuming her.
With that, Klaus and Mikael walked toward the altar, where Dahlia was dramatically slow-clapping for them, "Quite the operatic performance!" She smiled at the two men, "Though, that is the thing with these grand tragedies. In the end, all the heroes," She paused, thrusting out her hand and clenching it in a fist, "die."
Klaus and Mikael both groaned as all of their muscles tensed up, as though they were trying to resist being pulled forward by her. Mikael was unable to hold the knife any longer, causing it to fall onto the floor several feet in front of them. The two men fell to their knees as their faces started to turn gray and desiccate.

"Enough!" Ophelia suddenly shouted, getting to her feet to make herself known.
Dahlia looked up at Ophelia, a small smile on her face as the female tribrid jumped down, landing on the ground floor, right near where Klaus land on the ground, unable to get up.
"Ophelia, no," Klaus managed to get out, trying to grab ahold of Ophelia's ankle before she could walk toward Dahlia.
Ophelia moved out of the way just in time, dodging Klaus. Just as she was about to walk closer to Dahlia, she was suddenly standing right next to the women, causing her to frown in confusion since she hadn't done it herself, which Dahlia must have.
Ophelia growled, lifting her hand up to force a spell on Dahlia. The elder witch grimaced in pain, clearly feeling something, but not enough to injure her. Without giving Ophelia time to react, Dahlia roughly grabbed Ophelia's by the wrist, smiling at her, "Oh, my child. You have so much magic inside of you that you don't even know the half of it or even how to use it correctly," She told Ophelia in a calm tone, "You could destroy civilizations with the wave of your hand and kill thousands without moving a single muscle. Such a pity you never learned how. I could help you, you know. You would be at your full potential by my side and a great addition to my power."
Ophelia growled at Dahlia, her hybrid face appearing as she became consumed with anger, "Like hell I'm doing that," She gritted her teeth as she glared at the witch, trying her hardest to get out of the elder woman's grip, "I would rather die over and over rather than end up like Freya, your little powerhouse bitch."
"You are nothing like Freya," Dahlia argued, shaking her head in disagreement, "Freya was far too stubborn and naive. At the rate you're going, you could be so much better than you are now. I could make you be one of the greatest witches this world has ever seen, more than you already are."
"I would rather die," She repeated her response once more, since Dahlia didn't take the hint the first time.
"I never said you had a choice in the matter, child," She responded, her grip on Ophelia becoming tightener as she turned to Klaus and Mikael, "You struggle with such passion. All in defense of the ones you love," She paused and Ophelia watched closely as Klaus moved toward the knife to use to kill Dahlia, "An honorable quality."
Dahlia started to walk toward the men at a slow pace, dragging a reluctant Ophelia along with her, "One I had not anticipated, given the reputation that precedes you."
Finally, Klaus reached the knife and grabbed it in his hand, as Mikael struggled to keep up with him, "Still, a bit too little too late."
Klaus stood up and was about to lunge for her when Dahlia simply waved her hand, causing Klaus to be thrown backward, knocking him unconscious and causing him to drop the knife. Dahlia looked at Mikael and sneered, her eyes filled with hatred, "And you."
Mikael struggled to get onto his knees as Dahlia walked in front of him, bring Ophelia along with her, "Husband of my sister. You, I would like to make suffer." She used her free hand to cup her hand and push it toward Mikael, which allowed her to choke him with her telekinesis, causing Mikael to gasp for breath.
He became even more desiccated until Freya suddenly arrived and yelled at her aunt, "Enough!" She shouted out loudly.
Dahlia was so surprised to see Freya that she released Mikael so she could focus on her niece, "My Freya," She greeted the young girl and Mikael picked up a broken piece of wood, wielding it like a weapon as Dahlia walked toward Freya.
As Dahlia was focused on Freya, Ophelia was able to slip from her grasp.
"You do realize that this so-called family of yours is simply using you for your power?" Dahlia questioned Freya, walking closer to her.
"No. You're the one that used me for a thousand years!" Freya shouted at Dahlia angrily, causing the elder woman to sigh in frustration, "No more!"
"So be it!" Dahlia responded, clearly enraged.
Dahlia placed Freya in a telekinetic choke-hold and lifted her high into the air as Freya desperately clutched her throat. Feeling the need to help his eldest daughter, Mikael furiously lunged for Dahlia, "No!" He shouted out as tackled her and stabbed her in the abdomen with the piece of wood, which distracted her enough to let go of Freya, "Stay away from my daughter!"
While they were all occupied, Elijah snuck into the church, rushing over to Klaus at the same time as Ophelia. Ophelia bit into her wrist, placing it to Klaus' lips to revive him. Klaus grabbed onto Ophelia's wrist, beginning to feed on the woman until his strength was finally renewed.
Dahlia ripped the wood that Mikael had stabbed into her stomach and tossed it to the side as she stood up, "Don't you know I'm too powerful to kill?" She asked the group.
She threw the stake aside and stood to face Mikael, who was leaning against one of the nearby pews for support. Elijah vamp-sped toward Dahlia, but was instantly thrown backward by her and landed in the aisle behind Klaus. Klaus picked up the enchanted blade and rose to his feet. The two glared at each other before Klaus vamp-sped toward Dahlia, jumping up in the air so he could dodge her telekinetic blast.
However, before he could make contact with her, Dahlia completely vanished, and Klaus crashed into the sacristy. As he picked himself up, he dug through the pile of broken wood and was completely alarmed when he couldn't find the enchanted knife. He stood up and looked backward at Elijah and Ophelia, both of whom look just as terrified as him by what had just occurred.
After a moment, Klaus rushed over to Ophelia in concern, "Are you alright?" She asked her, noticing how she looked a bit light headed all of a sudden.
"I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?" Ophelia asked Klaus in a sarcastic tone, "Not only does Dahlia want your daughter's power, she also wants mine now as well."
Elijah sighed, walking over to the duo, "And here we thought this couldn't get worse." He remarked, causing Ophelia to scoff.
"You think?" She responded with an attitude.
"We need to get you to St. James Infirmary," Elijah insisted, "You will be safe there, just as Hope and Hayley will be."
Just then, Ophelia turned her head to see Dahlia standing a few feet away from them, causing her eyes to widen in shock. Noticing the woman looking at something, the whole group turned their head to see Dahlia, which startled them all, "We all have weaknesses," She spoke up, disappearing once more before appearing again in yet another spot, "You came here to exploit mine. And, in doing so, you lost the one thing you could have used against me." He paused, holding up the knife, "The weapon you created, now rendered useless."
Dahlia dropped the knife into the basin used for holy water, which caused the knife to burst into flames as it was destroyed. Freya was distraught and lunged toward her, "No!" She screamed out.
Both Ophelia and Klaus looked devastated, and Elijah looked terrified as Dahlia waved her hands and put out the flame. The female withc sighed in boredom, "Now that we've disposed of that little trinket, perhaps we can focus on the issue at hand? After all, I seek only that which is owed to me. And now, yet another who is to be owed to me, the inexperienced tribrid," She paused, glancing toward Ophelia, which led to Klaus grabbing her by the arm before he protectively stepped in front of her, "Give me the child and the young tribrid girl you are trying to protect from me, and you all may live. Deny me, and, well--you've had a taste of my power. I can't imagine you hunger for more."
Once again, Dahlia vanished, as though she was teleported away, leaving the rest of the group in utter shock and fear.
"You should just give me to her," Ophelia suddenly spoke up, causing both Elijah and Klaus to turn to her, "Maybe we can make a deal with her that convinces her to take only me and not Hope."
"We're not doing that," Klaus argued with Ophelia in a stern tone.
"Why not?" Ophelia replied with an attitude, "Maybe it--"
"It isn't an option!" Klaus shouted at Ophelia, who for the first time ever, jumped at his tone, which caused Klaus to lower his voice since he had noticed her reaction, "It isn't an option. I won't allow it. There's no way we're giving you to her."
Ophelia remained silent, nodding her head as she began to walk away.
