Judy's eyes began to gloss over as she gazed out across the parking lot. She leaned forward, her head resting on her forearms, and her ears drooped in boredom.

She glanced at the watch on her wrist: 9:34 PM. It was late and cold... maybe this wasn't worth it...

But then she saw it! Her ears bounced back up as she saw the orange fox and his partner exit the building and rush to their vehicle. The van in the distance gave a low rumble and its headlights came on.

Judy restrained her excitement as she watched the van pull back and then exit the parking lot. She turned the keys in her tiny car and began to follow them slowly and carefully.

You shivered as the heat from the vents poured over you. Felt nice to be out of the snow and in a warm van driven by Nick.

You glanced over to watch him swivel the wheel with one paw as he drove out toward the meeting spot: an old subway station in Savannah Central. They shut it down a few years ago as newer ones opened nearby, but it was never torn down.

"Pretty quiet out here..." you said softly as you watched out the window behind him. Hardly anyone was out walking on the sidewalk... must be all the mammals going crazy recently.

"Quiet is good for tonight," Nick replied somberly.

You sat back in your seat, anxiously tapping your digits on the door. Just get there, make the drop, get out. Simple! Right?

After a few more lights and a left turn, you saw the station farther ahead on your right. Nick pulled into a parallel spot nearby and switched off the van.

You scanned the nearby area from the safety of a locked door. The claw marks were still visible on your window, reminding you of why this could go horribly wrong. Opposite you, Nick grabbed his phone and tapped away on it.

"9:55, I sent him a text," he commented as he opened his door and hopped out, "let's go."

You exhaled and got out of the van. It wasn't cold like in TundraTown, but there was a strong breeze flowing between the buildings. It buffeted you, howling over your ears and ruffling your fur in different directions.

You wandered over to Nick and you both headed for the station entrance.

"Don't you need the packages?" You asked as you shifted your paws around in your hoodie pocket.

"Too many to carry down there. We're meeting first, then transporting. I have a sample on me," Nick explained as he patted the sample inside his jacket.

"Ah," you replied.

You both stopped at the entrance to the old station. A battered sign read:

STATION CLOSED

But Nick walked up, glanced around, and then pulled the door back enough for you to fit through.

You stepped up to him and slid past into the station.
