《Nick Wilde X Reader | A New Partner》Fluffles

"M-my shower?"
"Yeah! It'll be no problem," he gestured out the window, "I'll go grab my spare clothes from the van."
"But-"
He opened the door and winked, "Thanks fluffy~ I'll be right back," he said as he exited.
"....'Fluffy?'"
You replayed the events that recently happened in your mind as you nudged the couch and table back to their original spots. With the size of those bears you're surprised you got away with just a busted door.
Your mind shifted, however, to Nick. (Like it always does.) He was being awfully playful tonight. You couldn't complain though—you were definitely enjoying it! He always knew the right amount of teasing he could do without going too far.
Continuing to tidy up your place, a smile slowly formed as you thought about the fox in question. That silly fox~ with his auburn points and dramatic expressions...
"Hello..? Earth to Y/N?"
Oh my gosh you didn't even notice him come back in.
"U-um," you tried to play off the total daze you were just in, "Sorry! Can't hear you! Bad signal all the way out here." You turned away and playfully swished at him with your tail.
He reached for your tail as it swung past him. He started petting it gently, which sent little ripples up your spine.
"Hey... it is alright if I crash here right? I know it's your apartment and," he let your tail flow out of his paws as you turned to face him, he smiled apologetically as he continued, "I don't want to intrude on your evening."
Awww.
You grabbed his paws and entwined them with yours., "You're not intruding at all~"
You pointed towards the bathroom, "Now go shower and don't take forever."
"Aye aye Captain Fluffles."
As he trotted over to the bathroom, you asked, "...Am I actually fluffy?"
The fox pretended to not hear your question as he closed the bathroom door behind him.

School-life & Swordfights: A Clubs and Stubs Tale
Warning: Clubs and Stubs contains strong language and situations throughout that may not be suitable for younger readers. "This story takes place in a fantasy world with a modernish setting. It mainly follows four students of Hardires High School who are members of one of the greatest Team Arena Squads in the history of gladiatorial school athletics. Already two-time high-school world champions, they have entered their fourth and final year of high school in hopes of capturing a third straight world championship—something that no other school on the continent has accomplished. As they prepare for an upcoming match with a rival school, it becomes evident that keeping their two-and-a-half-year winning streak alive will be tougher than expected. As both personal and external problems abound for the student-gladiators, can they manage to keep it together under the constant pressure of being the perfect fighting unit? A blend of action, drama, adventure, and humor collide in this brand-new series!" Thanks so much for checking out my story! This is the first time that I've released any of my work to a public space so any feedback, be it positive or negative (but please be respectful if so) would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping that this story is only the beginning of a long-running series of short stories set in the Clubs and Stubs universe. Temporary Book Cover Design by David Watson The release schedule is rather tentative, but the goal is to release a chapter every 2-4 days. I want to make sure that every scene is the best it can be before it’s released, so it may take a bit longer especially if it's a longer chapter. However, no chapter should take more than a week to be released. Each scene varies in length, but are usually between 1,000 to 2,000 words.

Oxymoronic/Desktop/Babel_Maze
[19:27] Oxymoronic: Ever heard of escape room games? [19:30] Oxymoronic: You know, those places where you pay a hundred bucks to get locked in a room with impossible puzzles. Impossible for you, that is. Your smartass friend inevitably figures them out in seconds while you're sitting there dumbfounded, wondering where your money went. [19:31] Oxymoronic: Or maybe you are that smartass friend. [19:33] Oxymoronic: Well, I played an escape room game that even all the smartasses in the world couldn't have figured out. [19:35] Oxymoronic: I could have written a novel about what we have come to call the Babel Maze. But frankly, I'm not much of a writer. I'd much rather prefer to let the forum archives speak on their own. [19:36] Oxymoronic: Might take a few months to upload all this. Lots of clutter, lots of spam. Cleaning all this is going to be a nightmare. [19:38] Oxymoronic: That's just what internet janitors like me do.
