《Nick Wilde X Reader | A New Partner》Oh Hi Mark

You forked the cash over to Wilde; "40.. 50.. and.. 60."
Raising his eyebrows, Nick seemed surprised.
"Hmpt, impressive." He put the cash away and placed his hands on his hips.
"I learned from the best." You added a wink for good measure.
Nick rolled his eyes; guess that didn't work on him.
"Anyways.. are you thirsty? 'Cause I am."
"Sure. Want to go in?" It was now 1:00 PM, and you still had a couple more tickets to get into the fair with.
"Yeah, I know a guy who can hook us up." Of course he does.
So you both walked past the ticket line, eliciting a couple glares from the animals who wouldn't buy your tickets. Nick paid no attention, keeping his complacent expression with his head raised.
You gave the person at the entrance your two tickets and headed in. Past the entrance stuff, you came out into the open field that was now filled with food stands, rides, exhibits, and more.
The ground didn't have too much grass and it was a bit dusty. Down the dusty path, there were animals of all sizes walking around and enjoying themselves. A couple were lined up at food stands, others were carrying large prizes from games. In the distance, you could see some of the many rides that stuck up out of the fair grounds. You hadn't been to the fair, before, this looked really fun.
You walked along side Nick, "So, you said you know a guy?"
He nodded and kept walking. It must be one of these food places.
He veered slightly to the right and came up to a food stall. It was decorated in colors of green and on the top it said: 'French Fries, Pretzels, Soda...'

"Hey, Mark!" Nick leaned on the counter.
A raccoon with a green cap popped up from behind the stall. He turned around and beamed when he saw Nick.
"Yo! Nicky! What's up?"
"Nothing much, just the usual." He grinned and looked at you.
The raccoon tilted his cap to the side a bit and looked towards you, "Ah, I see," He winked, "So, who's your partner?"
You smiled at the raccoon, he was rather cheerful which reflected onto you, "I'm Y/N."
"Nice to meet you, Y/N," He held out his paw and you shook it.
Nick snickered, "Partner, huh? It's that obvious?"
"Well sure! You're usually a lone fox, as they..." He shook his head, "..well, they don't say. But still!"
You never figured a raccoon could be so animated.
"Anyways! Did you guys need something?"
"Yeah, we're a bit parched, think you could hook us up?"
"Sure!" He pointed down at the sign where the drinks were. "Pick anything you want."
You scanned the sign and found he had almost every drink available!
"I'll have... [your beverage of choice]."
"And I'll have a lemonade."
The raccoon pulled out some cups and quickly filled them up. He popped some lids on and handed you two the straws.
"Here we are! One for you, and a lemonade for Nick."
"Thanks, I appreciate it." Nick winked at Mark.
"Don't worry about it! Now, go on and have fun!" He shooed you both away.
"Bye Mark!" You waved at him and he waved back.
You saw customers walk up to his booth as you left. He was fun; it put you in a good mood for the fair.
"He was nice," You decided to ask Nick about him, "But why does he just give you free stuff?"
"I scratch his back, he scratches mine," Nick sipped on his lemonade, "That's how it works."
"Fair enough, where do you want to go first?"
Nick kept his pace, "I have a couple ideas."
