《Between Two Worlds (Aizawa x Reader)》Chapter Six: What Do I Do Now?

I'm screwed.

I tried to struggle, but my entire body was wrapped. All I could do was wiggle around, which was more hazardous given that I was balancing on his shoulder while going down the stairs.

"Will you knock it off? You're not getting out of those binds." he said with annoyance as he continued to walk down the stairs and to an elevator.

"Is this because of what I said? I'm not lying! That fight will happen and it will affect you." I said, as he walked us both into an elevator. Two elderly people were already in the elevator as he shuffled in with me in tow, and looked at the both of us with confusion and concern.

"Listen, kid, you telling me a fight is going to happen later isn't exactly a wild premonition. We pros fight everyday. Scars come with the territory." he said nonchalantly as he eyed the two strangers who immediately looked away out of embarrassment.

"Kid?! Okay, first of all, I'm 28! Second, I know what I said isn't super specific, but if I tell you exactly what's going to happen, it'll screw everything up! This fight is the first of many to come that will change everything!" I shouted, causing the two strangers to become increasingly awkward by our conversation.

"You should've thought of something more clear that would've convinced me and kept your precious timeline intact." he said after the elevator stopped on the main floor, and carried me out, "But that doesn't matter now. I'm taking you to the hospital where they'll keep a close eye on you. I can't allow someone crazy running loose on the streets, but as I said," he then lifted me off of his shoulder and onto a bench outside the building, "if what you say is true, I know where to find you."

I stared at him in disbelief as he took out his phone and called for the police to pick me up.

Crap.

Crap!

Crapcrapcrapcrapcrap!

Say something! Anything! Something that'll make him believe me. Something that'll be enough to show him I'm telling the truth but won't interfere with the timeline.

"Look out for Tsuyu!" I said as tears threatened to fall from my eyes.

He paused and looked down at me.

"If you don't, she will die."

He continued to look at me, presumably unphased with what I said. I sincerely hoped he was just staring me down, waiting for me to call my bluff, but I didn't break eye contact. I knew that she would've been the first casualty if it weren't for him stepping in the save her from Shigaraki, but he didn't know that.

After a very pregnant pause, he looked away.

"Yes, we'll be waiting for you right here." he said into the phone before hanging up.

I looked down at the ground, feeling completely defeated.

What do I do now?

***

(Aizawa's POV)

I could feel her wiggling around my shoulder as I went down the stairs.

If she keeps this up, I'm going to end up dropping her. Last thing I need is drop someone like her on her head, especially when I'm not sure if she already hasn't been, given the odd circumstances.

"Will you knock it off? You're not getting out of those binds." I said. For such a little thing, she sure has the energy and strength to keep my hands full. If I weren't annoyed, I might've said I was impressed.

"Is this because of what I said? I'm not lying! That fight will happen and it will affect you." she shouted at me as I carried her into the elevator.

Great, two bystanders.

At this rate, the whole hotel will think she's nuts if she doesn't pipe down. I don't want to make a scene. I needed to keep things like this on the down low so that word of someone "knowing the future" won't get to the wrong hands.

"Listen, kid, you telling me a fight is going to happen later isn't exactly a wild premonition. We pros fight everyday. Scars come with the territory." I said as a matter of fact.

I looked at the two elderly couple who were eavesdropping and, thankfully, it was enough for them to steer clear.

"Kid?! Okay, first of all, I'm 28!" she growled. Of all the things to get her riled up, it was her age? To be fair, she looked quite young, so the mistake wasn't that much of a stretch. Something tells me she's gotten those comments before.

I smirked.

"Second," she continued, "I know what I said isn't super specific, but if I tell you exactly what's going to happen, it'll screw everything up! This fight is the first of many to come that will change everything!"

The couple beside us became increasingly uncomfortable, but I was thankful we had reached the main level floor so I could continue this conversation without drawing it too much out in public.

"You should've thought of something more clear that would've convinced me and kept your precious timeline intact." I said as I walked out of the elevator and carried her out, "But that doesn't matter now. I'm taking you to the hospital where they'll keep a close eye on you. I can't allow someone crazy running loose on the streets, but as I said,"

I then lifted her off of my shoulder and gently onto a bench outside the building,

"if what you say is true, I know where to find you."

I took out my phone and began to alert the authorities. Truth be told, I didn't think she was completely nuts. A bit emotional, sure, but if I were in her predicament, I wouldn't blame her. Hell, she's already handling this better than I know a few of my colleagues would.

"Yes, I need an officer to meet me at Block 7 in Musutafu. I've got a young adult woman who needs urgent medical attention...yes, I'll hold."

As I waited for confirmation, the young girl blurted out,

"Look out for Tsuyu!"

I paused and looked at her. Tears were threatening to fall, and I couldn't help but feel a jolt.

'How the Hell did she know about a student who just had their entrance exams?' I thought, completely bewildered as to how she knew that information, 'Only faculty knows that she's been placed under my class.'

"If you don't, she will die." she said.

I continued to look her dead in the eyes, trying not to give away that I was shocked at the information she gave me. I knew it was already far-fetched that she knew about All Might's 3 hour limit, but then again, maybe a high end assassin could've figured that out with enough stealth, patience, and persistence. But looking at her, she didn't look like a typical villain. Just an ordinary, seemingly quirkless, young woman.

And I'll also admit, her "proof" that I'll get a scar under my eye from a fight was pretty pathetic. Anyone could've made a guess as to when and where my next one would be, as I've made quite the collection already with being a pro.

But how in the world did she know about Tsuyu? I barely knew the student, and now this random woman is telling me she'll potentially die under my watch.

Just then, a response on the phone,

"We've ordered dispatch to your location. We'll be there shortly. Block 7, correct?"

"Yes, we'll be waiting for you right here."

I hung up.

I looked at the young woman again and she looked so disheartened.

I wasn't sure whether to feel bad for her, or feel concerned that someone like her knows too much and is therefore a danger to herself and us.
