Have you seen the future? I have not, nobody did, no one can. I see...have you heard of apotheosis' prophecy? What about it? Many didn't take it seriously, probably because nobody could crack its mysteries, but the indestructible prophecy rock has recently crumbled. It is a sign that things will change. ...What did the prophecy say? Sigh, you really don't know anything. There was a furnace drawn on the prophecy rock. There were three objects in it, named meaningless crown, black star and incomplete cross. When three signs appear the beast will awaken. Has the meaning been cracked? There are many hypothesis, but nothing concrete. The first object could have relation to king of some sorts, but in this vast universe there are many worlds, counties and kings. Who can really guess its meaning? It can also be metaphorical. What about black star? They say the second clue leads to eclipse, but this also says nothing. Third one? Cross is the symbol of divinity. The cracked cross might mean a lot of things, like person who wants to go against progenitor's ideas and laws and forcefully achieve divinity...It could also mean destruction of divinity, but something like that should be impossible... You're overthinking things. How could gods stay idle if someone is threatening their reign?Also, even if somebody is forcefully awakening, the gods will be alerted by commotion and won't let it succeed... Say, do you think that awakening beast is the one who will try to become one of us? Most likely. No, it's hard to say. The prophecy can't be that simple. This is nothing but wild guesses from our side. Alright, let's stop with depressing stuff. I found a nice place not too far from my domain constellation. Really? What's special about it? Nothing we've not seen before, except for a rare delicacy. They call it chocolate. Oh? Is it delicious? Yes, much better than slime candies you've been fond of. Are you free now? Of course! Then it's my treat. Be careful though, the sovereign over there is a bit low key, but very strong. You need to get to know world's customs first, we don't need extra trouble. No problem. On the frontiers of transhumanity’s expansion into the galaxy thousands of light years from the light of Sol, things can get rather chaotic. There are countless millions of nascent interstellar nations securing their interests, pirate ships prospering off plunder and deniable mercenary work, dissidents setting up their own civilizations, and other groups all trying to push an agenda. When these groups crash into each other, the results can become extremely messy and convoluted. Recently, a frontier nation calling itself the Red Star Union has found itself at the focal point of one such complication. A freighter under their protection has been sabotaged, hijacked in interstellar space, and robbed of its cargo. This would be bad enough even if all it were carrying was luxury goods, but the freighter Nebula Plow was carrying more than just normal trade goods. Indeed, her cargo of Non-Orientable Wormholes for use in starship power plants was both very expensive and very, very dangerous. Now the Red Star Union has to worry about a pirate crew running around with several extra devices capable of converting matter into antimatter with negligible energy cost. With those, the pirates could be capable of inflicting untold damage if allowed to leverage their ill-gotten gains into a stronger position, a possibility the Union finds completely intolerable. Unfortunately, all that the Red Star Union has to go on for evidence is two names; that of the captain, and that of the ship. The Captain is going by the possible pseudonym of Fuller, while the ship is named Bark’s Finest. And thus the orders came down to the Union’s Bureau of Starforce Intelligence: find more information on these pirates, conclusively identify them, and figure out where exactly they’ve gone to ground so that the fleet can crush them before they get established. Of the many agents that the bureau assigned to this mission, one would happen to play an important role: Field Agent Madeline Zargosty. This is her story. This story is entirely pre-written, and will have one chapter released per week. Mikey was a good boy... with some mental issues, as his mother drunk a lot while being pregnant, and father sometimes could drop him while tying to cuddle him (he was always drunk) and because of his problems he never got friends. BUT when he was in London in the year of 2012 he got hit by a firetruck and died. But that was not the end of his journey, as he met an old lady Death, who actually likes cute things, and doesn't have friends due to her looks. So the little guy befriended her before transporting to the new world, but... Death being an airhead as she is, accidentally turned him into a mouse... *** Warning! This fiction has no serious plot and is set with rules of Pyro universe, slightly modified. Made because there were no Mouse Necromancers... There was a Hamster Demon lord, but... RIP Hamster... Will be updated at least once a week, unless said otherwise. Chapters will be quite short by the way. Chapters will be posted when I push myself to continue with this fiction. Moose decided to run away, or muse... or mouse, but in this case, it's probably the fault of my cat...
