Iiwas sana ako sa kanya kaso nakita niya ako at agad siyang lumapit sa gawi ko.
"Magandang hapon binibini!" Bati niya sa akin kaya napatango nalang ako habang pinipigilan ko ang sarili ko na mapangiti, gosh!
"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" Tanong ko kaya natawa ako sa sarili ko. Alam ko naman na bibili siya ng books piro nagtanong pa ako.
Agad niyang ipinakita sa akin yung books na binili niya kaya nagulat ako at napangiti. "Same pala tayo" sabi ko.
Pariho kasi kami ng biniling books, yung Our Asymptotic love story by binibining Mia.
"Binibini... natapos ko na pala yung I love you since 1892, nakakalungkot nga eh kasi hindi nagkatuluyan si binibining Carmela at ginoong Juanito" sabi niya habang naglalakad kami papunta sa counter gosh! Hindi talaga ako mapakali na magkatabi kami kasi panay ang tingin ng mga tao sa amin lalo na yung mga kababaehan.
"Ah talaga, ako nga din nalungkot" sabi ko sabay bayad sa counter. Aalis na sana ako ng tinawag niya ulit ako. "Binibini... hinatayin mo ako" sabi niya habang nagbabayad sa counter kaya napatingin yung cashier sa akin.
Nang matapos na siyang magbayad sa counter ay agad na kaming lumabas sa NBS. Nagulat nalang ako ng bigla niyang hablotin yung plastic bag nadala ko na naglalaman ng binili ko. "Binibini ako na ang magdadala" sabi niya piro tumanggi ako.
Gosh! Pa fall talaga siya! Delikado!
Hindi na niya ako pinilit at tahimik lang kami habang naglalakad papalabas ng mall ng bigla siyang magsalita.
"Binibini may tanong ako, sagutin mo huh?" Sabi niya kaya kinabahan talaga ako. Feeling ko kanina sasabog na yung puso ko.
"A-Ano naman yun?"
"Si Binibining Carmela ka ba?" Tanong niya sabay ngiti kaya nagulat ako at napahinto sa paglalakad. Gosh! Ito na ba yun? Sasabihin niya bang 'kasi ako si Juanito at ikaw yung mahal ko' ?????

"B-bakit?" Kinakabahan kong tanong. Gosh! Feeling ko sasabog na ako dito sa kinatatayuan ko.
"Luh? Nakalimutan mo na ba binibini? Ikaw si binibing Aya at hindi si Binibining Carmela" sabi niya sabay tawa kaya nagloading talaga ako. Hindi ko alam kong maiiyak ako sa sinabi niya o matatawa dahil sa kalikutan ng pag-iisip ko at naging asumera ako.
Gosh! Lesson learn, huwag mag Assume! Masasaktan ka lang!
