The dawn shifting awoke Hiccup. He got up and walked into the forest to think. While walking, he heard the sounds of spikes hitting the trees. He followed the sound and saw the Astrid-dragon launching her spikes and poor unfortunate trees. He chuckled to himself. No matter what form she was in she always seemed to like torturing trees.

Hearing the chuckle, Astrid turned around and lifted her spikes to shoot at him but lowered them when she saw who he was. "Astrid, you're not the one who needs to apologize. I am. You did that you thought was best and I can't fault you for that. Besides, nothing bad happened that has not already happened, other than Toothless's wing which will heal in time. Astrid, I'm sorry for tossing you aside and I forgive you. Will you forgive me?"

Astrid smiles and sheds a few tears and goes over to Hiccup and puts her wings around him and purrs a little. are today because of you. Thank you, Hiccup. "Thank you Astrid, that was unexpectedly profound." Astrid sighs and growls a little. "Sorry."

Astrid pulls him closer to her. Hiccup silences her with a hug to her scaly neck. "Astrid, I love you too. I always have and I always will. You are my one and only and I never want to leave your side. Astrid, will you be my girlfriend?" Astrid freezes for a moment and then nods and purrs quite loudly. "I love you Astrid, now and forever."

They then hold each other closely until they were interrupted by certain someones. "TOOTHLESS!"
