The trek to Mildew's house was easier and shorter than he expected but he paid it no mind for his mind was set on revenge. Upon reaching his house, he hid in the shadows and waited until it was a few minutes before sunset. When the time came, he threw open the door and saw Mildew sitting in his chair, tending he fire.

Mildew looked up and smiled his creepy smile. "Hello boy, how nice of you to show up. Saves me the trouble of finding you. Now all I need to do is kill you." "You can try Mildew but the only one who will die right now is you." Hiccup then shifts into a nightfury as the sun goes down and rushes at Mildew.

Mildew dodges his charge. "Hmm. Clever boy, using my own handiwork against me. But, you should know by now that such simple tactics will not be enough to beat me." Hiccup roars and leaps on top of Mildew and raises his claw for a killing strike. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, boy."

The image of Mildew shimmers and then shifts into a terrified Stoick. Hiccup, with his claw raised for a killing strike, slowly and shakily lowers it before turning around and running out of the house. He then takes to the sky and flies unsteadily to the forest.
