After leaving Hiccups house and arriving at her house, she jumps into her bed and falls asleep. She dreams.

She sees Hiccup turn into a Nightfury with his father watching. She sees Stoick lift his axe to kill his son. She sees Hiccup run and fly away frantically, forgetting in his panic that Toothless cannot fly anymore. She then sees Stoick kill Toothless. She sees Hiccup almost kill Stoick. Lastly, she sees Hiccup hiding in the cove scared and alone.

Astrid wakes up in a cold sweat. "Just a dream." She breathes
