Hiccup's inner thoughts: Shifting forms hurts, a lot. That is why when I shift back to human at dawn, I wake up. It's a very awakening experience...That was a bad pun.

As Hiccup arouse he was surprised to see that Astrid was awake and sharpening her axe by the exit of the cave. He walked over to her and sat next to her. She turned around and looks at him. "So, you were cursed by a dragon it seems." She said. "Apparently."

Astrid sighs and looks at him. "What happens if she doesn't have a cure either? What will happen when your father finds out?" Hiccup grabs her hand to stop her freaking out.

"Lets not worry about the future now. Lets only worry about the present and not let our fears get in the way. Ok?" Astrid smiles and gives Hiccup a kiss on the cheek. "Ok" she then walks away to wake up the dragons for the trip to Gothi.

Hiccup blushes and then shakes his head and follows her. They get on their dragons and head to Gothi's.
