I waggled my feet and a small smile played on my lips seeing the blue water hit my feet, I closed my eyes taking in the feeling. This feels so nice after working for hours when i opened my eyes and took in the serenity before me, the sun was starting to set down painting the sky with orange it was a beautiful view, some people in the pool enjoying the water while some stayed in the chairs and others like zion was reading book. It was all simple but the calmness of it made it much more appealing to see.

But it did not last. Suddenly my leg was pulled down and I went down with a screeching sound only to be muffled by the water. I sprawled my hands to get out of the water. The sudden movement was too quick and my mind was not ready for it. Suddenly a hand grabbed my waist and hoisted me up.

I was coughing loudly trying to get as much oxygen as possible when the person whose hands were on my waist started to laugh. I blinked to get a clear version while still breathing heavily. When I saw him my eyes grew big.

"Joseph!!" I screamed ,hitting his chest. He laughed loudly, letting me off.

I swimmed a little away while seeing him laugh while trying to get the words on how funny it was.

It was not.

When I looked around I saw Zion smiling while trying to cover his mouth with his wrist. His eyes stayed on the book. Great he had seen this. I turned my eyes to Jordan with a glare.

"Seriously joseph"

"Oh come on felicity it was fun" he said swimming towards me

"No it was not and when did you even get into pool i didnt even see you"

"I came when you were lost in your dreamworld. Dreaming about you prince ah"

I let out a snort while splashing some water onto him.

After apologising, if you consider the poor words sorry then yes, Joseph grabbed my hand and we started swimming together. He apparently was a swimmer in high school. Very much different to who he is now, Joseph assistant to Becky has been working under her for almost three years in a row so it was impossible to avoid him while working with Becky but it turns out very good on my side on how close we have become.

"Felicity how many times should i say" he grumbled and swimmed towards me while grabbing my legs.

Why is everyone correcting me today?

"Your legs should stay together and kick at the same time in a bobbing fashion"

"Yeah yeah got it"

"No no you didn't get it- OW"

We both turned to see a smirking anna. I bursted into laughter while Joseph's whole face turned into disbelief.

"What that's for"

"For being annoying"

"What! I was —"

"Felicity I missed you " she said, cutting off joesph while swimming towards and giving me a hug.

"I missed you" I said, hugging her back.

""Guess i'm invisible" joseph muttered

"What do you also want a hug??" anna challenged

"No. but you are disrupting our class" he said swimming towards me "now if you excuse us-

"Wait what class" anna again interrupted

"This women"

"So tell me felicity who was the better teacher"

I submerged half my face in the water while thinking of a answer

"You both are amazing," I said.

"Oh your so sweet" anna cooed me "but we know who the real teacher, amateur"

"Hey-

And they started to bicker again. Apparently Anna is a champion in swimming but that did lessen Joseph's pride over his high school swimming so they put me basically the judge and also the victim to find out who was the best.

"Are you guys excited for the party?" Anna asked once we fell into silence after swimming for a few more minutes. We were in the corner looking out at the building and the sunset.

"Yes," Joseph and I replied at the same time.

"Me too" anna jumped splashing water all over us.

"Geez women calm down" joseph said rubbing his body

"You are literally in the water" anna countered "so felicity.... What dress are you gonna wear"

"Ahh... the..." I was thinking hard but nothing came to my mind as I only packed casual summer dresses.

"I don't think i have anything besides sundress"

"Oh my gosh really that is bad but wait we can shop at my moms boutique" anna said her eyes sparkling

"That will be so cool" i said as excited as her

"Ahhhh we are gonna have fun" anna screamed hugging i laughed more when joseph made a funny face.

"Come on joseph dont you have a suit already we are gonna have so much fun at the party" i said tapping his arm

"Not we but you. Anna and i have a duty to perform" he said taking my hand away

"What! What duty i thought you guys were free" i frowned

"We are but working inside at the party"

Anna laughed at my even more confused face and swimmed towards Joseph and put her arm around him.

"We will be there with you but we also have a job protecting the king and queen"

That did not clear any of my confusion. What they mean by it is the queen coming and why my friends are protecting them. I was still confused but looking at their secret smiles and looks I felt that it was their code language.

I took my elbow from the edge and turned around to see that the pool was empty my eyes searched for anna and joseph but they were nowhere to seen but that's when my eyes caught zion standing at the edge of the pool, my eyes was set on him while both his hand went back and he pulled the shirt from him body.

I only saw him shirtless once and that for a few minutes. Now seeing clearly his biceps and tanned body I was mesmerised. He had a lean body which he maintained very well looking all healthy and glowy.

He is just so handsome.

I quickly looked away when he jumped into the water. I was very aware of every sound the water made when he moved and the waves hitting me telling me that he was coming towards my side.

Even when my mind told me not to look I took a side glance at him and his eyes met mine and he gave me a beautiful smile calming my nervousness a bit and giving me a small sense of comfort that this was the boy that I learned to love these past months.

"Hey"

"Hi" I said and looking up to him, his blue eyes resembling the pool water and the way his hair was now darker and some of it falling onto his eyes.

I was still watching when he moved closer and brought his face close to mine. And slightly tilted to my side that I was able to see his skin very clear and open to mine. I averted my eyes when his hands went back to me to grab the water battle. While I felt my heart beating faster than ever. And my cheeks are getting warmer.

Once I felt he finished drinking his water I felt him move but not very much he only moved his face but stayed in the position. Close.

"You are blushing"

My eyes widened and instantly my hand went up to my cheek. The coldness of my hand feeling a soothing warmth proved the point very much.

"Uhm..I .." I risked a glance at him and abruptly stopped when I saw his eyes shining ever so bright and a smile that looked so pure and joyful I felt like I was in bliss.

I sighed "whatever" he let out a loud laugh making me crack a smile.

"Okay now let's swim, we have the pool for ourselves let's enjoy it"

I nodded and we swimmed going around in circles splashing each other with water while laughing at each other and simply enjoying each other's company

"You know this is creepy and an invasion of privacy" Joseph said while I took the photos of the love birds who are having the time of their life.

I rolled my eyes and said " I know smart pants" but went away and closed the curtains.

"Cute right," I said showing the photo

Joseph looked to the side from where he was seated leaned towards the wall, knees up and a book nestled in his lap.

"Yes, but you shouldn't-

I cut him with a fickle of my finger on his head and watched him take a deep breath with a frustrated look.

"First don't ever cut me-

"Ahh" I smiled and jumped when I cut him off again with a slap to his head.

"Just why" he sighed

"For almost blowing out our plan"

"Hey! In my defence you are always talking about it and my mind was clouded with 'noone should disturb them and should protect them from my boss. I don't even know why-

"She is on our top list" I exclaimed . Joseph didn't even care that I cut him off. I think he used to.

He sighed "you not ours. I don't even know why she is felicity friend"

"She has a crush on zion!!" i lifted my hands up and down for emphasis

He just shook his head "but I have to give you credit for coming up with such a plan, king and queen uh??" he said, wiggling his eyebrow and bringing his face closer to mine.

"Shut up" I said , slapping him away.

He laughed.

I blushed.
