"this is too sudden where did you even get a cruise during THE SCHOOL YEAR," you were sitting on the bed while xiao was sitting on fhe floor staring at you.

"I just want to make you feel better and you like the sea anyway," he answered. "huh? I never really told you about my liking towards the sea," you tilted your head confused on how he knew.

"the box ... reki and you seemed to have visited the beach a lot," he responded. your eyes had flew over to the box on your shelf that reki left you.

"yeah well it was a nice memory and all... I can't dwell over an ex in front of my boyfriend anyway. I'll start packing now so get out."

"I'm still confused but okay," you stepped into the room of the cruise. xiao had bought a shared room which was going to be awkward.

"did you eat anything yet?" xiao turned to you. you had no idea what he was thinking he was confusing you.

"no I haven't," you slid the door open to the balcony. "I'll go get some food what do you want?" he questioned.

"what are you doing?" you accidentally blurted out as you were leaning against the railing. "sorry I mean it's just this is sudden I'm not complaining I'm just shocked," you corrected yourself panicking.

"because I don't want you to end up like me."

"I mean like ... a close person dying I don't want you to be alone," he put his hand on his neck slightly tilting his head to the side avoiding dye contact.

"It's not like I'm crying or anything I'm simply just shocked you know? Thank you though," you shrugged.

"alright then I'm here when you need it still," he assured stepping out on the balcony with you leaning on the railing beside you.

"thank you," you smiled appreciating his support. he wrapped an arm around you pulling you closer letting you know he'd be here anytime you needed it.

he wasn't going to disappear.

at least you hoped he wasn't.

"let's go bowling?"

"there's a bowling area? god itto would be so jealous right now."

to cheer you up xiao and you went bowling which was pretty fun. to say the least you might've almost threw a bowling ball at a toddler but we ignore that.

it wasn't your fault anyway as you were about to roll the little kid had bumped into you scaring you so badly. luckily, xiao had saved the kid from going into a ten year coma.

"god I'm tired," you collapsed onto the bed with your arms widen out. "it was fun," xiao smiled pushing your arm to lay down beside you.

"yeah it was thank you for doing this that cheered me up a lot," you turned on your side to face him.

"it's you after all," he tiredly wrapped his arms around you. he just wanted to go to sleep knowing you were going to be here when he wakes up.

"I get special treatment?" you buried your face into his neck closing your eyes. "of course you do," he replied bluntly as he began to play with your hair.

twisting your hair and playing with it relaxed you much more causing you to fall asleep. after a few minutes of silence he had guessed you were asleep.

he leaned back to stare at your sleeping expression before he leaned in again placing his lips on your forehead.

"sleep well."
