"good morning," you greeted not expecting xiao to be standing in front of your house at 7am in the morning. he always walks you home you just didn't expect it to be to school as well.

"morning," xiao gave you a soft smile and this time he actually showed it to you instead of hiding it. you actually found him 10x more attractive when he smiled.

"xiao... are we not gonna talk about the cat at your feet?" you looked down to his feet pointing at the little small cat who was stroking its head against his leg.

"no," he replied bluntly once again not minding the cat. you just sighed it was a gray cat who seemed to have lost his mother and just went to whoever seemed friendly.

"do you wanna keep it?" you smiled cats were cute not only cats but you just like all animals in general if they're friendly that is.

"Your brother wouldn't allow it would he?" he turned to you not realizing what you meant by that is for him to keep it in his apartment.

"no but someone here has a home too," you grinned pointing at him and his eyes widen. "no too much work," xiao shook his head completely rejecting the idea.

"what!? you're just gonna leave a poor kitty to rot!? how cruel xiao," you began to complain and try to convince him to keep it.

finally after some convincing xiao sighed not wanting to see you sad over a cat getting abandoned on the streets. he finally nodded his head giving in to keeping the cat.

"wooo! thanks xiao I'll take care of em since I'll be dropping by anyway," you celebrated as xiao crouched down to pick up the cat in his arms. he was expecting to get scratched or bit but suprisingly the cat was calm.

it just rested its head on his arms and closed its eyes already comfortable with xiao. xiao always gave off the energy of being scary but the cat could sense that he was someone it could be safe with.

"you'll come over later right?"

"yeah? I have to see the cat after all."

"only for the cat?"

"for you too why?" you tilted your head confused as the two of you walked side by side with the cat still in xiao's arms. you two were heading towards xiaos apartment since you guys still had school.

"xiao... did you perhaps keep the cat just to get me to come over?"

"no."

"mhm..."

yeah he kept it as an excuse to make you come over everyday and see him.

venti finished picking the lock and opened the door to xiao's apartment. he looked around looking for his charger when he entered the living room.

he tilted his head confused as to why there was a bed in a corner. he just shrugged it off and continued to look when suddenly something had appeared behind him.

venti had froze completely in his place he was hoping to god that it wasn't what he was thinking at all. he slowly turned his head behind him and looked down.

IT WAS A CAT.

xiao had no problem in sending venti into his home even though he was usually against it. venti thought it was weird but just shrugged it off maybe he just became nice.

no it was because venti had a cat allergy.

"STOP CHASING ME!" venti cried out as he ran around and the poor cat thought he was trying to play with it so it chased him until he started to sneeze continuously.

"I'm gonna kill you xiao," he cried out plotting his revenge in his head as he was now standing on a table wiping his nose. there was so much cat fur he was in hell.

the cat meowed once again closing its eye and smiled in its own way taking a liking to venti. couldn't say the same for venti though just one small kitty is making him cry.

after running around for ages venti had accidentally slipped and landed face flat on the carpet floor. the cat took its chance and climbed on to his back making him yelp.

then it got comfy and layed on his back while venti just buried his face into the ground giving up on life accepting his fate.

"what is going on."

since im so nice im letting u guys name the cat if its a dumb ugly name ur getting rejected 😇
