《Hero Of Olympus》News from the gods

We reached Reyna's room, where she was busy kicking a suitcase with a golden and silver side to it.
"What's that?"
"It helps me track Aurum and Argentum."
"Isn't that good? Why are you kicking it?"
"Yes, and it says they're here at camp," she said, not even turning around.
"That's good, right?" I questioned.
Reyna roller her eyes. "Tell me Percy, if you're tracking something, do you thing it would be good if you got a rough idea of where it is or the exact location of where it is?"
"The exact location obviously," I replied.
"Knowing you, nothing is obvious," Reyna muttered under her breath, which made Julia snicker.
I rolled my eyes and walked past her to the suitcase.
It had a small LCD screen on each side. Both displayed the same place, which was camp Jupiter.
I narrowed my eyes and thought for a few seconds.
"Have you tried calling them?"
"Yes, that was the first thing I tried," she snapped.
"I have an idea," I muttered. "If this works, I'm joining the FBI."
"Reyna try-"
I doubled over, clutching my head.
Julia reached over, but I dodged her. I pulled Riptide and uncapped it in one swift movement and tried to behead Reyna.
If it hadn't been for her several years of experience, she would have died if I was actually trying. She pulled out her dagger and took a defensive position.
I slashed at her, making her parry my strike. I dodged a lunge to my legs from Julia. I kicked a chair towards Reyna. It hit her shoulder and the dagger dropped from her hand. I immediately held my sword at her throat. Any minute now...
"Nice knowing you RARA," I said.
She gritted her teeth in defeat and anger. "Percy, what are you doing?"
I reared my hand to chop off her head and rolled away just in time.

I smirked victoriously as Aurum and Argentum appeared, both circling me while snarling. I recapped Riptide and smirked at Reyna. She looked as shocked as me.
I forgot about the dogs while looking at Reyna, which was my mistake. Both dogs pounced on me. Argentum brought me down, while I felt sharp pain as Aurum bit into my shoulder.
"Back off you brat," I yelled and pushed Argentum off me.
"Sit!" Reyna ordered. Argentum listened and promptly sat down. Aurum on the other hand pounced on me once again.
I rolled over to the other side. "I just caused you to come back you rotten tin can!" I exclaimed.
Both dogs cocked their heads to the side together and looked at Reyna.
Reyna nodded, still looking shocked. "I don't know how, but it worked."
"Wow," Julia said. "You put Reyna's life at risk and summoned them. Damn!"
I think I needed to teach her Thalia, Grover and my way of saying it. Dam.
"Who kidnapped you?" I asked the dogs.
Both of them growled and trotted outside. They stood out in the open for a few seconds, before sitting down whinning at Reyna.
"They can't find them," Reyna said as the three of us and the two dogs walked back into the Praetor's office. "It's alright. Julia, tell me everything now."
My sister nodded and proceeded to tell Reyna everything about how she had been accused by someone. The dogs listening carefully, but did not snarl or attack, which meant she was speaking the truth.
This reminded me of my first time being interrogated by Reyna and her dogs.
Reyna nodded once Julia had finished. "You're free to go. Percy, I think you should persue acting as a profession."
"Or I could be an FBI agent," I suggested.
Reyna simply rolled her eyes.
"Sorry about your arm," I said, refering to when I had kicked the chair at her.

"It alright. I'm just glad I have my dogs back," she said smiling.
I grinned and was about to leave her room, when there was a bright flash and I reappeared somewhere with black spots in my eyes. I felt really queezy and my head was reeling. It felt as if I'd been strapped onto an F1 car going down a straight.
Once my eyesight cleared, I saw that I was in the Olympian throne room. Evryone was here, excluding Athena and my father.
"Any news on my dad?" I asked.
Zeus stroked his beard and looked around at the other gods. Hera nudged him and he looked back at me.
"They're...uh...not on Earth," Zeus said uneasily. "Athena's plan failed. Someone else intervened and now both Athena and Poseidon are missing."
"WHAT?" I yelled.
"You will not yell at me boy," Zeus snapped.
Clearly, he was freaking out as much as I was.
"What do we do?" I yelled.
"I don't know!" He yelled back.
There was cough from Artemis, which caused us to quite down.
"We're in a state of emergency," Hermes stated. "This is worse than what happened to Hera, since we don't even know where the two of them are."
"How do you know they're not on Earth?" I asked.
"We can sense them," Zeus stated. "Whenever one of us goes missing, we can always sense where they are. If we can't sense them, they either faded, or they're not on Earth."
"That leaves us with three options," I said, paling. "Tartarus, Night and the Void."
The throne room became silent. Even the warm crackle of the flames in the hearth was low.
Zeus them rounded onto Artemis. "What was Athena's plan?"
"She planned to kidnap Poseidon to someplace dry and subdue him enough to be able to bind him in chains. Her next plan was to imprison him in one of the many magical islands."
"You're a traitor and a fool! I'm disappointed in you, little sister." Apollo yelled at his sister.
Artemis snarled and shot an arrow at him, which he burnt away.
"Admit it," Hera snapped. "You believed the biggest most obvious lie on the planet and attempt to kill someone who has not only fought for us and helped us, but also gained your personal respect."
Artemis looked down. I knew there was absolutely no guilt. Firstly, I was a male. Secondly, Athena had lied about me and accused me of things I stand against and thirdly, she was a goddess, meaning she had little to no feelings.
"Can we forget about poor life decisions and try and find my Dad and Athena?" I asked, getting fed up of these dodos.
"We could send an automation to look for them in Tartarus," Hephaestus suggested.
It was better than nothing so I nodded. "It sounds great, but what if Tartarus or a Titan or Giant or monster destroys it?" I asked.
"I'll take care of that," he said, a competitive glint in his eyes.
Hera nodded. "That should work."
"Can't we send someone down there?" Ares questioned.
"Are you volunteering yourself?" Demeter asked, making all the gods smirk. "I'd suggest you pack some food for the journey then."
Even Zeus smirked at that.
"And drinks," Mr. D added.
"And some deodorant," Apollo advised.
"When will the automation be ready?" Aphrodite asked her husband.
"Three days," he replied.
"What do we do till then?" Ares asked, sounding bored.
"You wait, pretty simple," Hephaestus stated. "I'm going to work on it. I'll let the rest of you know once I'm done."
Well...I guess we now had to wait for three more days before we have any chance in finding my Dad and Athena.

OUTLIERS
30 years ago brought the first superhumans, regular people given great power seemingly at random. 15 years ago brought the paranormals, stranger and often weaker in their abilities, but far more numerous. Today, the world holds its breath . . . Or at least, it should. Most people, though, are just trying to get on with their lives; some successfully, some less so. It's a sensible goal, but it can be hard when shadowy conspiracies and worldwide N.G.O.s are turning your city into a proxy battleground over world-shattering secrets. It’s bad enough when you’ve just woken up with superpowers and terrorists are holding your school hostage. It’s even worse if you’re an illegal vigilante stuck in the middle of the whole Charlie Foxtrot after a supervillain raid drops vital information in your lap. For Hannah Eiling-Kingsford and Flint Perez, life is about to get a lot harder to get on with. ----- Outliers is a superhero story. Okay, so not so much superhero as vaguely superhero-ish. It's about two teenagers dealing with, among other things, new powers, psycho exes, mysterious datapads and a giant, secret war between the foremost powers-that-be, over information that could forever change the world. Again. You know, normal teenage stuff. Outliers contains some foul language and mild sexual references. It is a complete story, and can also be read on its own website.
