"Yo cardi king said he need us at the spot in jersey early in the morning tomorrow for a meeting" Star speaks from behind me and I pull the phone down from my ear hearing the voicemail come on.
"Wasspoppin?" I question ending my call before it could start recording.
"He ain't say, he just said we need to be there. He said everybody gone be there so it gotta be important" She says and I raise a perfectly arched eyebrow turning sideways in my seat so I could see her.
"Everybody?" I reiterate and she nods.
"Damn, I wonder what's going on now"
"I don't know but we gone find out" She shrugs and I nod letting my mind wander.
What was so important that he had to call a meeting with everybody, I hope the feds wasn't cracking down on us cause I wasn't going to jail.
If they was he need to tell me right now so I could back a bag and be on the next flight to bali.
"You think it's the feds?" I blurt.
"Bitch I hope not cause who's going back to jail?" She chuckles and I laugh shaking my head.
"Bitch we gone be bey and jay on tha run, I promise you that"
"Factsss" She laughs.
"You get that money from marcus?" I ask once she sobered up from her laughter.
"I'm about to head over there now, I'll be back in a hour" She tells me and I nod as she turns around walking out the living room of the spot.
Just as I hear the door shut my phone vibrates in my hand, looking down at the caller id I press the little green phone answering.

"Wassup?" She questions before I could say anything.
"Nothing, I just called to check on you since I hadn't spoken to you since that night. I knew it was thursday so I guessed that you wasn't busy but if I interrupted anything I'm sorry"
"Nah, you're good. I actually just got home from my parents house, I was driving that's why I didn't answer" She explains and I nod even though she couldn't see it.
"So you alright? He doing good?"
"Yea I'm okay, he's doing fine right now so I'm just spending more time with him while I can" I could hear the sadness in her voice but I knew she was staying strong toughing it out.
"Alright well if you ever need anything you know my number"
"I actually could use some company, I hate being here alone" She softly sighs as I slyly smile.
"It's gone take me 20 minutes"
"That's no problem, I'll have the door unlocked"
"I hope you don't mind" I smile puffing on my backwood as I walk in the living room.
"Not at all, I'm playing with my poison today too" She softly chuckles, lightly stirring the red wine in her glass.
"So besides everything with ya dad hows life been treating you?" I ask plopping down next to her on the couch kicking my Fenty slides off, I had the white toes out today.
"Fine I guess" She shrugs taking a sip from her glass.
"And what about you?" She asks looking at me with a small smile.
"Fine I guess" I smirk pulling the backwood from my lips blowing smoke and she playfully rolls her eyes.
"Mhm, so how kb been treating you?" She had a innocent smile on her face but I knew she was being petty.

"You really did hear about me huh?" I chuckle inhaling a thick cloud of smoke.
"Yup, now tell me"
"Nothing between me and kb has changed, that's still just the homegirl but you on the other hand in a whole relationship" I grimace almost throwing up letting that shit roll off my tongue.
"You really did hear about me huh?" She mocks and I smack my lips lightly nudging her shoulder.
"Stop playing"
"I wouldn't really call it a relationship, we really just dating" She clarifies and I nod like I gave a fuck or something.
"You downgraded" I laugh and she playfully mushes my head.

"I ain't with her, I ain't gone ever be with somebody again. That starting over shit dead" I tell her truthfully, clearly this love shit wasn't for me.
"Who said you had to start over" She lowly murmurs but I still heard her.
I take one more pull from my blunt before leaning up ashing it in the small ashtray I left here laying on the coffee table.
"Let me ask you something" I slightly turn towards her throwing my arm behind her on the couch.
"You be thinking about me?"
"Every second of every fucking day" She sighs, like she had just taken a weight off her shoulder.
"I be thinking about you too, I miss you" I confess as she looks down running her finger tip around her glass.
"Then what you waiting on?" Her eyes flicker up to mines and without a second thought I smash our lips together.
The kiss was slow and passionate as I savored every last second, I had feigned for this for way too long.
She throws her arms over my neck wine still in hand as I slide my hands under her shirt rubbing all over her back and sides.
"Mmm" I moan as her teeth softly sink in my bottom lip.
"Let's go to the room" She whispers softly kissing my lips once more before standing up sitting her glass on the table then taking my hand in hers.
Standing up I follow closely behind her as she leads me down the hallway.
