《Lombardi - Finn Shelby》Tommy's Wedding
Advertisement
I was sat with Finn at the pews wearing my favourite dress as today was Tommy and Graces wedding, I was really excited. I loved Grace and her and Tommy deserved this.
I was so excited for Tommy's wedding, I took Finns hand and laughed at him. He was randomly ranting about something but I couldn't hear him as it was so noisy, mostly on our side anyway.
On the other side was Graces family and parts of mine. I should be on that side but I wanted to stay hidden from my family, it was only my mums side though, they barely knew me.
I had told Grace to not tell anybody in about my old name, I told her it was now Carter. I didn't want anyone looking for me and ruining everything, I was happy around the Shelby's. And I don't want anyone from my family to come swipe me away from them.
The fucking whole Calvary were here as well in their uniforms and I knew John wouldn't be happy about it, he had told Tommy that he didn't want to see the uniforms. But they selfishly came... in their uniforms.
Also Arthur has married a 'I love Jesus' woman called Linda. She's very holy but I can't tell whether I like her or not. I don't think I do.
Children started singing and Jeremiah walked through the door. Graces side was appalled and looked at him like he was a joke. I stared at them all and Finn put his arm around me.
"Calm down Rose." He whispered smiling at my bratty face. I glared at him as well with my fading eyes before mocking him.
"Calm down Rose."
"Oh shut up."
Grace has finally came and some different music was playing. She came in with her lovely dress and stood opposite Thomas. I was happy already.
I wanted to cheer but I couldn't, I would be disruptive whilst they were talking. Gosh I love weddings.
They finally kissed and I cheered instead of clapping. "Yes Grace Whoo!"
I watched in amusement as the women fought over the bouquet and I laughed at them. It was funny because they were like animals, fighting over it.

We were all getting ready for a photograph but I think I blinked once it was taken. Great, that just great.
We watched Grace Shelby and Thomas Shelby leave on a horse and carriage and Arthur instructed us to get to the house.
We walked through the gate and cheered for the newly wedded couple.
I followed Finn who followed Arthur to the kitchen.
"Do I have to come?" I whined.
"Yes." Finn said dragging me.
I watched Finn steal some food and he gave some to me, I shoved it into my mouth whilst holding the rest. I watched him get more so I quickly brought him back.
"Don't be a pig Finn." I told him as I ate what he gave me. Tommy took off his jacket and everyone finally came in.
"Right, boys, girl, you're all here." Tommy said taking a puff of his cigarette. "Today, this is my wedding day."
"Yeah and you said there would be no bloody uniforms." John pointed out, angry already about it.
"Nevertheless, nevertheless, John. Despite the bad blood, I won't have any of it on my carpet." Tommy warned everyone. "For Graces sake, nothing will go wrong."
"Those bastards out there are her family, and if you guys do anything to embarrass her, your kin, your cousins, your horses, your fucking kids, you do anything!" Tommy started shouting.
"Tom?" Isaiah interrupted. "What about snow?" He asked. Really Isaiah, really? You really get the timing right don't you?
"No cocaine, no cocaine." he then turned to John "No sport." he kept moving around and looked at everyone he came over to Finn and slapped him lightly on the face.
"No sucking petrol out of their fucking cars." he then told Charlie about lying and I laughed at his response.
"The main thing is, no fighting, oi! No fighting." he said pointing to Isaiah and John but just pointing at Michael because he's boring and don't do nothing.
A waiter came in and Thomas pushed him making him drop what was on the plate.
Round of applause for Tommy.
—
We were getting ready to eat but Tommy and Grace weren't here yet. I was starving but we had to wait, ugh.

I listened to John's joke over Adas politics. I laughed at it but no one else did other the guy he was telling it to.
"Good one John." I complimented and he laughed.
"Rose gets it." he said to Esme pointing over to me.
I looked at Finn who still seemed to be annoyed.
"Alright what's wrong with you?"
"Nothing it doesn't matter." I glared at him until he would tell me, I am nosey as hell.
"I promise Rose it's nothing." he said kissing my hand still blushing as we made contact.
"Sure but you need to tell me later" I blushed and took a swig of his drink.
"Rose you have your own drink, drink that." Finn complained taking back his drink.
"No." I told him putting my hand on his leg.
I watched Ada bore people with her politics and put the corner of my eye I saw Lizzy move and swap with an old guy. Who was he?
Finally the bride and groom were here and we did a toast and I chugged my water. What I was thirsty, I had been waiting for ages for this food.
Finn was smoking in front of me so I took his cigarette, whilst he put a hand around my waist. Arthur stood to do his speech I cheered for him and so did John. Who was drunk out of his mind.
"Right, um... I'm not the one for speeches." Arthur began before John shouted.
"Sing then." And it made me laugh a bit.
Arthur kept talking, awkwardly, but Tommy cut him short. I felt bad for Arthur I feel like he would have said something lovely. I watched Arthur leave and frowned.
—
I followed Finn through the stables as he was racing and John was giving him a pep talk. I took Finns hat and put it on, he didn't complain as it do it all the time now.
"Good luck." I told him as he got on the horse. He blushed smiling at me and I smiled back and kissed his hand walking away.
I watched Finn pass the finish line and I cheered for him.
"You're a fucking natural." I said as he ran over to hug me. I gave him a kiss and hugged him again.
"Thank you Rose." We split apart and we were told we had to go with Tommy.
"Why are we doing business on their wedding day?" I asked Finn quietly as Tommy and Arthur talked to a woman, she had a Russian accent. Apparently the Russians are bonkers.
"Are you cold?" Finn asked.
"Yes give me your jacket." I ordered putting my hand out and he gave it me rolling his eyes and I kissed his cheek thanking him.
"Good, Finn." Tommy said and Finn went to go get a briefcase from the car. He opened it and let Arthur count it.
"Yeah we're good." Arthur said as Finn closed it. He put it in the car and I stayed out with Finn.
"When can we go?" I complained still freezing cold, should of wore a different dress.
"I don't know Rose, come here." He pulled me into his embrace trying to warm me up.
"Why were you mad earlier?" I asked him, remembering.
"It doesn't matter it's stupid." Finn said shaking his head.
"Come on tell me." I begged him.
"Well I was mad because of the uniforms and I kinda knew we weren't going to get to dance together." Finn admitted.
"Well what's stopping us from dancing now, hey?" I put my arms around his neck and we slowly danced to no music.
"Kiss me." I told him leaning up to him and he leaned in. Our lips touched and I messed with him by cutting it really short.
"Rose stay still for a minute please." He whined.
I laughed and kissed him longer and I kissed his cheek. "Can we go now, it's been hours?"
"It's probably been ten minutes Rose, if you want to go back, go."
"But I want to be with you." I pouted.
"I love you."
"I love you too."

I hope you enjoy.
