《Lombardi - Finn Shelby》Sabini

I sat at the table at Polly's and she was praying. I closed my eyes and said 'Amen' but Michael didn't.
"Amen." she repeated, waiting for Michael to repeat.
"Amen." Michael finally said and we started eating.
Suddenly I heard crashing on the door and the police came bursting through. They pushed me up against the wall keeping my hands behind my back and drug me outside with Michael who was also resisting.
I heard Polly's pleading but I just put my head down. Shit I would be going to that juvenile thing, the kids at school told me about it, apparently they beat you there, others say it's a heaven but I don't know.
An old man was stood by the car and he looked at me and Michael smiling welcomingly to us.
I gave him a death stare and he gave me a disgusted look, probably my cause of my eyes. They shoved me into the car and Michael was thrown in after.
Polly slapped a police officer and she ran over to the car. The old man pushed her up against it and I looked away, he was probably threatening her, the guy did look like a creep.
God was I going to die?
—
I was put into a prison cell in prison and I asked myself many questions.
When am I going to get out?
Why am I in prison?
This wasn't juvie.
I closed my eyes and fell asleep in the cold prison cell but I was awoken by the door opening.
Why is it so fucking loud? It creaked like hell.
The man from last night came in.
"Hello I'm inspector Campbell you're being let out your real father is here and he wanted to collect you."
I looked at him in confusion. "My father? What are you on about my father?"
"Your father Roseline, he's here now to pick you up, so just follow me."
"Do I have to go?" I asked not getting up, I would rather stay in a mud hole that see my father, it's been too long. How do I know it's even him?

"Yes your father paid good money just to get you out." Campbell explained, why would my father pay a lot of money?
"How much?" I asked the old guy but he didn't reply.
He took me outside and my father wasn't there just a man who looked greasy, that wasn't my father. He didn't look like a rat unlike him and I know kinda of what my dad looked like, and that wasn't him.
"Mr Lombardi, here is your daughter Roseline Lombardi." Mr Campbell said patting my back making me stumble forward slightly.
"Thank you sir, come on Rosa let's go." The man said getting my name wrong and shaking Campbell's hand, the greasy guy then took my hand into his grip and smiled to Campbell until he left.
He then took me to his polished car and opened the door for me to get in. I don't know what to do. Obey it run?
"Who are you?" I asked terrified.
"Well my name to you is Mr Sabini." I looked at him in shock.
This is the guy Tommy wanted to take down. God I'm going to die. Where is everyone when you need them, where's Polly God?
"You're staying with me, and you're coming to the Darby with me." he said through his disgusting teeth, spitting slightly at me.
"Yeah sure." I agreed, to not make him angry he seemed like the kind of person who get the explosive angry.
"Good because if you said no I would just have to kill you." He said to me, smiling like a weirdo. What a gross man.

I had been with Sabini for a couple days and it was terrifying. He had many outbursts and made me his maid, I had to get him many drinks and pass over cigarettes when he had people over.
One thing he said though was that he knew a lot about me but couldn't even get my name right what the fuck?
Today was the Darby and Sabini gave me a dress to wear:

I'm still surprised it's so pretty, it was fancy, nothing like I usually wear.
We walked into the cafe and I saw Tommy who looked mad to see me with Sabini. I looked at him and shook my head showing the bruise on my face.
Sabini has gotten physical with one of his outbursts when I lost the matches. He only hit me, nothing else.
"Mr Sabini, you're late. Have a seat." Thomas called.
"Rose you can fuck off." Sabini spat letting go of my wrist. I nodded, staying for a second before running out, I need to find Finn and get out of here.
"That Lombardi girl is defiantly annoying." Sabini exasperated taking out a cigarette.
"Lombardi?" Thomas said confused before going back to Sabini.
I ran out to find Finn but I walked through a white tent to see May talking to a woman in white, who I kinda recognised.
"May, have you seen Arthur or John?" I asked eagerly.
"Roseline?" The woman next to her asked and I looked at her. It was Grace.
"Grace oh my God, Where have you been?" I asked hugging her.
"America, how are your parents?" She asked smiling at me touching my hair looking at the fading bruise.
"Oh um my mother died two years ago Grace, my dad is still missing. I live with Polly now." I said happy to see a familiar face.
I knew Grace because when I was little my mother would always take me to see her as they were friends. I was like five or six the last time I saw her.
"Oh Rose, I didn't know." Grace said and I saw the tears pricking her eyes.
"It's okay Grace, I'm fine with it now." I said hugging her again. "I best be going Grace, I Hope I see you again." Grace said bye and I left quickly having a look around.
I had to be careful though just in case I ran into Sabini again.
I saw Arthur and I ran over quickly. I sat down next to them quietly as Lizzy was crying and John was talking to her, I didn't want to disturb them so I kept quiet.
After they had their chat Arthur shouted and John looked angry.
"Rose, what you doing here? Where have you been?" Arthur shouted at me with questions.
"I was arrested by the police and then Sabini kidnapped me by paying them a lot of money." I told them, breathing out.
"Is that why you have a bruise on your face?" John asked concerned, turning my head to look at him.
"Yeah, but I'm fine though, it's clearing up now."
"Finn wasn't though scared it of his mind, always worried." John laughed.
"Yeah 'e was pissed at everyone." Arthur joined.
Wow I guess Finn cares about me. Awww how precious.
—
Arthur was having a party for the win and everyone was crowded around, it was very annoying.
Me and finn talked again the wall, when he saw me earlier he gave me a big hug practically crushing me. But I loved it, it was very cute, he didn't let me go for about five minutes:
I kissed his cheek and looked at Arthur who was standing on the table.
"Ladies and gentleman, I'd like to raise a toast!" He shouted over the chattering people.
"To the Small Heath Riflers!" Everyone cheered. "To the Lee boys!" Everyone cheered again. "And to the Peaky fucking Blinders!" Everyone cheered again and I joined in.
I took Finns drink and downed it and gave it him back.
"What? Sharing is caring Finn." I laughed and he joined in smiling.
"I'll get you another drink for you don't worry." I told him stealing his hat again and put it on.
"Rose!"

The Loyal Ones [Dark Biopunk Fantasy]
TLDR; A slave monster survives horror, war and servitude, while trying to live with himself. Thralls are a race of monstrous slave soldiers, in a universe where biological magic takes the place of technology. Centuries ago, their ancestors were desperate humans, who volunteered to be transformed for the Poison War. Today their unfortunate descendants are still soldiers and laborers. In contract law they are 'corporate wards'; slaves owned largely by arms dealers. Dally Harper starts this story as a champion cage fighter. He is one of the 'lucky' ones. It's all downhill from there. Content Warning: Explicit violence and gore, slavery, implied sexual assault. None of these are framed as positive or glorified, however they do have a strong impact on the plot and main characters.
8 178Grin the Cheat
There was a time when heroes roamed between the Four Great Cities. They fought for kingdoms and princesses and they lived and died by their valour. Or so the stories say. The way the minstrels sing it, everyone had a swashbuckling good time. Nowadays, buckles are rarely swashed. All the great beasts have been slain, all the great treasures unearthed. Princesses are few and far between — the ones worth fighting over, anyway — and the kingdoms have been divvied up between the sons of sons of sons of the heroes of old. No valour required. Frankly, the hero business is in a sorry state. Luckily for Grin the Cheat, thieving and murder are thriving as usual. If you have a moment, please vote for this story at Top Web Fiction. 8 112Wild Steam
Get on a train. Head east. Get on a ship. Travel further east, in style. See some wonders of the world. Find what was lost. Find where home is. How hard is any of that?Well, for Jake Ranger, pretty damned hard. The world being a wild, crazy mess from a global altering event called the Shattering doesn’t help much. Nor does being a famous folk hero. That last one really sucks, because people always run up to famous heroes and beg them for help with all their problems. Then there are the actual outlaws and monsters. They don’t help much either. Mostly they just get in the way and make everything way worse. And in a world that is so screwed up decades after the Shattering, there is a lot of variety to both outlaw and monster. Then there are the more civilized, (read: sane), non-human folk, and good old humans as well. They all get along just spectacularly. Totally best friends, on every level, for life. Of course getting to the east coast is only half the battle. Once there, he must contend with the so-called “civilized people.” Then there’s the ship ride; pirates and sea monsters are a thing too, after all. Should have read the brochure. But when the chips are down, the bad guys are winning and the wild winds of chaos are blowing, it helps to have a fighter on your side. Even if he is a little wild. After all, that’s not really a problem. That’s what beautiful women and lots of gold is for. Proper motivation is always key to success. Welcome to a Steampunk, Wild West, Victorian era, Lovecraftian infested, fantasy, shoot ‘em up world. Complete with a slow build harem of badass beautiful women, crazy adventures, and fun, monstrous villains. Welcome to the world of Wild Steam. Do enjoy your stay.
