was still watching Halloween, Dakota walked upstairs to use the toilet when she saw the killer walking into Stu's parents' room. He stabbed Billy multiple times in the torso as Sidney let out a sob.
"Sid..." Billy wheezed before he flopped down on the bed.
The killer wiped down the knife, taking off the blood as Sidney spotted Dakota who picked up the lam closest to her. Dakota smashed it across the killer's head and when he fell, Sidney took the chance to run across the bed.
However, Ghostface was quick to get back up and chase after them. Dakota pulled Sidney into the hallway and the Prescott locked Stu's parents' room door behind them. Taking Sidney's hand, Dakota ran into Stu's bedroom and out of the other door, onto the landing.
"This house is so confusing!" Dakota yelled as their steps paused, the killer opposite them.
Turning around, the pair sped back into a bedroom and Sidney slammed the door onto Ghostface before they both ran into the room where all the spare things were kept. Dakota grabbed a surf board and wedged it up to the door.
"Shit!" Sidney hissed, pushing her hair up nervously. She then ran over to the window and Dakota followed. Spotting Gale's news van, Sidney slammed her hands on it, "Help me, somebody! Help me!"
The door opened ever so slightly Ghostface stuck his head through the gap in the door, holding his arm through that held his knife. Dakota hurriedly started to push the window open and stuck her leg out, calling for Sidney to follow her as she climbed out.
Once both girls were out, they gripped onto the window ledge so they wouldn't slip off the roof and looked to Gale's divan, in hopes someone would hear them, "Help us!"
The killer appeared at the window and grabbed onto their arms, making them struggle against him. When Ghostface took his hold off them, they fell back and landed on the boat on the drive. The two rolled off, Sidney falling on her side as Dakota fell on her knees.
They looked up to see the killer no longer in the window. Sidney panted heavily, leaning on Dakota who's breath hitched when she looked to the garage door. Sidney followed her gaze and stopped breathing, seeing Tatum half in the cat flap of the garage door, her body crushed to the ceiling and her hair frazzled from electrocution.
Sidney gasped and placed a hand over her mouth as Dakota stood, lost for words. Quickly turning, the two girls ran away from the drive, all while Randy was still inside watching Halloween.

"Help us! Help!" Sidney yelled, Dakota holding onto her waist to keep her up because she was limping.
Sidney went to jump over a fence but couldn't push herself over so she and Dakota started to kick away the panels of wood. Once they fell away, Dakota followed Sidney through the gap and headed for Gale's news van.
"Let us in!" Sidney screamed as Dakota banged on the door. Kenny immediately opened the door and they got inside. "The killer's after us! He's in the house!"
"Where?" Kenny asked while Dakota slid the door closed. "There's nobody in the house, there's a camera in the house. Look."
"Behind you!" Randy was shouting at the Tv, not knowing Ghostface was approving him from behind.
"Oh, fuck!" Dakota whispered harshly. "Oh, fucking fuck!"
"Jamie, Jamie." Randy repeated.
"Behind you, kid!" Kenny called.
"Randy!" Sidney yelled.
"Behind ya!" Kenny repeated.
"He can't hear you!" Dakota snapped as Kenny slid open the door again.
Kenny looked at the door and paused, "Shit."
"What?" Sidney questioned.
"We're on 30 second delay." Kenny explained shortly.
Randy was still riding Jamie to do the right thing when Kenny span around, only to have his throat slit by the killer. Sidney screamed as Dakota inhaled sharply with wide eyes. Sidney whimpered, clutching onto Dakota as she slid the door open, only to be stabbed in the shoulder.
Sidney pushed the door closed fully and Dakota crawled to the end of the van and kicked out a small hole big enough for them to crawl through. As she did crawl out, Sidney followed while the killer managed to open the van door.
Grabbing Sidney's hands, Dakota pulled her the rest of the way out, swearing under her breath when she saw the wound on her shoulder. The two took off running down the road as Ghostface was crawling through hole after them.
Hopping over a fence, they ran into a field just as Dewey was running into the house with his gun pointing in every direction every other second while Gale went to her news van, seeing blood at her feet.
The reporter decided to just get the fuck out of them and got into the drivers seat, calling 911. Once she'd beat Randy to the floor with her phone, she started the van and saw blood on her window which she whimpered at.
When she reversed, Jenny's dead body slid forwards on the window-shield. Gale drove off, wiping Kenny from her window in the process. She drove down, not expecting to see Sidney and Dakota waving their hands in the road for her to stop for them.

Gale screamed and swerved and ran through a fence into a ditch as Sidney and Dakota moved. Sidney sobbed as Dakota breathed heavily, helping each other run up the driveway, shouting, "Dewey! Dewey! Dewey, where are you?"
"Dewey!" Sidney yelled as they got to the front garden.
The front door opened, revealing Dewey, "Sidney, Dakota.."
"Oh, shit!" Dakota shouted when Dewey fell to the floor, after literally being stabbed in the back.
"Dewey!" Sidney cried, placing a hand in the forehead just to see Ghostface appear in the door, pulling the knife from Dewey's bleeding back.
Sidney and Dakota ran down the path of the front garden, getting into the police car. Sidney slammed down the lock on the door and Dakota did the other one all while the killer watched. Dakota went to look for the keys but a tapping sounded on her side and they looked to see Ghostface waving the keys teasingly at them before he dipped away.
The lock on Sidney's side came up again and she slammed it back down as Dakota did the same with hers, not hearing the boot door opening.
"7825, suspect at 105 north avenue 52." A woman spoke over Dewey's walkie-talkie in his car.
Dakota picked it up hurriedly, "Hello. Help us, please. We're at Stu Macher's house. It's 262 Turner Lane. He's gonna fucking kill us!"
A yell came from behind them and Dakota cried out when a knife sunk into her stomach as Sidney was choke from behind. Sidney struggled and Dakota pressed a hand to her light wound before kicking at the killer.
When he fell backwards, the pair stumbled out of the car and ran out, turning to see the killer wasn't there. Sidney gasped when she saw Dakota bleeding and placed her hand over hers, more pressure on the wound.
"Being stabbed hurts." Dakota exhaled shakily.
"No shit." Sidney panted.
"Sidney! Sidney!" Randy yelled and ran towards them as they stumbled into the house. "Jesus, we've got to get the fuck out of here!"
"Stop right there!" Sidney yelled as she picked up Dewey's gun.
"Don't shoot, it's me! I found Tatum dead! I think Stu did it!" Randy yelled.
"Don't listen to him Sidney!" Stu ordered, appearing behind him and Sidney pointed the gun to him next.
"Stay back!" Sidney shouted.
"Stu did it!" Randy accused as both boys pointed to each other.
"He killed Billy. He killed my Tatum. You did it!" Stu cried, pushing Randy down the front steps. "He killed my Tatum!"
"No, I didn't!" Randy yelled as he fell on his face.
"Sidney, baby, please, give me that gun!" Stu held his hands out. "Give me that gun! Christ, man!"
"Sid, c'mon!" Dakota called and pulled her inside as the boys continued to accuse each other.
"Fuck you both!" Sidney said and slammed the door behind them, Dakota locking it.
Both boys slammed their hands on the door while Sidney sobbed against Dakota whole raised a bloody hand to hold her right, fearful of what would happen next. A grunt sounded behind them and they saw Billy crawling across the landing, bleeding.
"Sid, Dakota." Billy mumbled.
"Billy." Sidney whimpered as he fell down the stairs in a way that would've amused Dakota if she wasn't both bleeding and running for her life.
"Billy. Billy. Are you okay?" Sidney asked, rushing to help him.
"I'm okay." Billy muttered weakly.
"I thought you were dead." Sidney panted. "You okay?"
"No, I'm like a stuck pig but I'm alright." Billy replied and Sidney helped him up. "You're bleeding."
"We've gotta get help." Billy said and reached for the door.
"No, he's out there!" Dakota interrupted, leaning on the wall.
"No, give me the gun. Give me the gun." Billy ordered. "It's okay. It's okay."
Sidney handed him the gun and and Billy opened the door, Randy rushing in, "Stu's flipped out! He's gone mad!"
"We all go a little mad sometimes." Billy whispered and turned slowly, shooting Randy.
"No, Billy!" Sidney tried.
"Oh, fuck!" Randy cried before he fell back as he was shot in the shoulder.
"Jesus fuckin Christ!" Dakot yelled, stumbling away from Billy towards Randy with Sidney.
Billy smirked and scratched his temple with his gun like a crazy man, which he was, "Anthony Perkins, Psycho. Hm. Corn syrup. Same stuff they used for pig's blood in Carrie."
Sidney turned around, gripping Dakota's hand to pull her as well. Sidney smashed into Stu's chest, "Stu! Help us, please."
Stu held a voice changer to his lips with a grin and his voice changed to Ghostface's infamous one, ""
Sidney looked back at Billy who acted surprised before he raised his gun and shot Dakota in her shoulder, making her fall down beside Randy. Sidney sobbed a 'No!' and ran to the kitchen only to be followed by the killers.

Summoner's Journey
[Before you read - the story is officially dead. The reasons behind it are posted in the last chapter.] In a magic world on the verge of an industrial revolution, Ari Ragnarsson must uncover the truth behind his parents' disappearance. They were part of an organization known as the Order, which protects mankind from various threats - both human and supernatural. Now, after Ari's brands finally manifest, he leaves the safety of his village and travels to the continent. Strength is all that matters in this world and he must learn how to control his powers. There, he meets a man from another world, who's being hunted for merely existing. Their fates become intertwined, but not in a way either of them would appreciate. Author's note (contains minor non-story related spoilers about the MC and setting) This is a progression fantasy with LITRPG elements sprinkled on top. The main character is not a spellsword, but a summoner/support mage hybrid. Since he wasn't ambushed by a random god, there's no cheat item/spell and he has to rely on his skills and wits to survive in a world full of monsters. The story tries to show the moment when the old starts to be replaced by the new, with a healthy dose of magic and a little steampunk in the background. Also, it revolves around a party dynamic akin to RPG sessions. No health/mana bars. Numbers are secondary and the LITRPG elements focus more on classes/spells/runes and their evolutions. Tables are sparse at the beginning, but from chapter 7 onwards they appear more often. Still, I won't be copy-pasting the whole character sheet dozens of times per chapter.
