I drove with the two detectives in a police car. We went to 7742 and they opened the door for me to get out. I took off my seat belt and got out of the car. I stood infront of the house.

I took in the metal gate and the twisted tree and felt my stomach drop down to my feet. An immense feeling of sickness loomed over me as I heard the detective and back up getting guns ready and talking over a plan. I was so nervous I just prayed we weren't too late.

Multiple thoughts ran through my head like what if he is dead? What if the police were too late and it was all my fault? I stood and waited to see if Vance would walk out the door or if he would only leave in a body bag. I couldn't bear the tension.

I waited and waited pacing back and forth I needed to see him walk out alive I prayed I begged and pleaded I need him to be OK...

I looked at the door and saw two police men walk out.

I then saw Detective Miller and Detective Wright walk out.

I was beginning to loose hope, I just need to see his blonde curly hair...

I saw more police men walking out..

Then I saw a dirty blonde curly head of hair walk out. I see his soft pale face and deep blue eyes. Tears dwelled in my eyes, he looked at me and I could see him crying too. I ran up to him and hugged him so tight. To my surprise I felt his arm wrap around me as well.. I placed my head on his chest and felt him rest his head on top of mine.

"Don't ever leave me again," we said and I looked up at him. He leaned in and I did too. Our lips met softly and I closed my eyes hoping the moment would never end..
