《Pinball Vance (Vance Hopper x Reader)》Part 13

During a History lesson on a Tuesday I was called to the principles office. I left and went then knocked on my principles door. As it opened I saw the two detectives that had questioned me previously. The bald one asked me to take a seat. I did so and the bald man said his name was detective Miller and the other said he was called detective Wright.
Detective Miller said "I assume you know why we've called you in here."
I shook my head "no, sorry."
"Well it's because you made your classmate Amy frightened yesterday." Detective Wright explained, "we're here because we want to know more a bout your dream and why you chose to tell Amy this."
Detective Miller started "you told Amy that in your dream there was some black balloons?"
"Yeah because I saw black balloons."
"Is that actually what happened?" Detective Miller asked.
I nodded.
"Really?" he kept asking and pushing and every single time I nodded or said yes.
"Really?" he asked one last time.
"YES, OH MY GOD WHY DO YOU KEEP ASKING?!" I snapped.
"Because Y/N, there was black balloons at the scene of the crime." Detective Wright said calmly.
My face dropped, "Wait seriously?"
They nodded.
"I had no idea."
"Because we didn't tell the public that," Detective Wright told me.
"So either there's a leak in the system orr.." Detective Miller said and wrote in his note pad.
"Or what?" I asked.
"Well we do just think its a leak in the system or there's a rat and if there is we were hoping you would tell us who they are," Detective Wright said.
"Or there's a completely different reason," Detective Miller said and looked at me.

"And what is that reason, enlighte me." I glared at him.
"Well this is only a possibility but uhm.." Detective Miller said.
I interrupted "but uh uh I could be the Grabber?! Me? You guys seriously think I could kidnap and then most likely kill my best friend" I started tearing up, " and then I kidnapped the star player of our football team and then take a boy whose name I only knew because his father owned a shop in the town."
They both looked at me dumbfounded. "Of course you dumb fucking fartknockers you two have cracked the code and found the Grabber! Well done!" I said and my principal shot me a look. After a couple minutes of silence Detective Wright said "there's no reason to get defensive. We couldn't possible think it was you, we're asking if there's anything that you haven't told us that could help.
"Well I didn't say that uhm.." I looked at the ground. "Sometimes my dreams are true." I talked to them about both of the dreams I had and they listened whilst writing notes.
When they were done with questioning it was already home time so I went home as fast as I could. Then as I walked in. I saw Finney in the living room and he took my hand and ran up to my room. "Why the fuck were you out for the end of school with the police?!" he whispered angrily. I looked at him and said "You're not going to believe this."

The Perks of Immortality
This story will no longer be updated. After living decades and dying hundreds of times, Kegan has learned that he has finally passed some test that the cruel spirit had given him. Now, Kegan has the ability to gain “perks” that can make his life much easier. He is looking forward to finally having an easy life with the new perks he has earned. Rules to keep me honest for the perk system: Spoiler: Spoiler 1. The purpose of perks is to help the MC live longer and do new things each life. 2. The perks can be unlocked by getting hurt or killed. 3. The perks can be unlocked by putting in a lot of effort that isn’t easily duplicated in a new life. 4. Perks are generally beneficial enhancements to the MC’s body. 5. Perk costs can be lowered with more impressive achievements to unlock them. 6. Perk costs can be lowered by repeated death or injury from something the perk protects against. 7. Perk costs are increased for quality of life improvements that don’t benefit survival. I want to avoid one of the pitfalls I see for other LitRPG stories where the game elements barely relate to the story, or offer very little information. If people are skipping over and not reading the perks then I'm doing things wrong. So I promise to try and make the perks interesting, sometimes humorous, informative, and relevant to the story.Cover art by http://dertypaws.com/

She Who Reigns the Stars [Vol. 1]
*Remastered version of She Who Reigns the Stars* Tell me, what will become of us? Presenting your Goddess… Asteria, Supreme Deity of Stalera, the nation of the Universe. She who rules the stars with steel eyes and an iron will, the glorious, the beautiful, the adored Goddess, has now fallen under the hands of her nemesis… The Archfiend, Emperor of Talonis, the nation of Vice and its Shadows, has now assumed reign over Stalera after the death of the Goddess. With the power of Vice, its Shadows, and the Universe, it is assumed that he would be satisfied now that Stalera was under his mercy, and the other two nations of Yelerna and Antalis would follow suit. But much to our surprise, he isn’t because he still lacks the… Ruby, The Goddess’ last attempt to save her empire and the entirety of the Universe. Before her death, the Goddess sealed a portion of her blood, which contained the remaining powers of the Universe the Archfiend hadn’t obtained, away from his grasp. She entrusted it to one of her Zodiac Warriors, a member of her elite service known as the Zodiac Warrior Circle, and instructed him to hide the precious jewel on Earth. The restoration of Stalera and the defeat of the Archfiend would lie in the hands of whoever inherited the ruby jewel. Those who inherited the ruby were known as the Goddess’ Successor, and the one next in line to inherit it is… Auriella Corentin. Life was never the same for Auriella the night her Grandmama gave her the ruby jewel and died, thrusting the poor girl into a world of magic. Now in possession of the Goddess’ blood, it wouldn’t be long until the Archfiend found her, killed her, and obtained her ruby inheritance. But Auriella never wanted this responsibility, not when she had her own past and inner demons to battle against. Nevertheless, she finds herself seeking an alliance with the Zodiac Warriors and a strange barista as she learns to wield the powers the Goddess bestowed to her. But as frequent demon attacks, a secret admirer (or stalker), strange notes, and a handsome, amber-eyed boy pile onto her plate, it is no longer clear whether the universe needed Auriella to be their savior or to be the Goddess’ (inferior) replacement. A Goddess in need of redemption. Four Nations at the brink of destruction. Our question still remains unanswered… What will become of us? [Updates Monday, Wednesday, Friday @8pm PST]
