《The Nerd that turned out to be Vampire-ish [Wattys2015]》CHAPTER 41: The land of the rising sun. (Part I)

The plane landed on a private property in Central Okinawa Honto, the lot looks almost the same as the one back in PH. Don parked it on an already opened garage type building, and again it's the same as before. Maybe hunters always had a uniform structural design on everything.
We came down the plane and immediately were welcomed with the winter's cold air. I hugged my coat, and rubbed the side of my arms to generate fire, I mean heat. For the first time I saw my literal breath in front of me, like a piece of my soul just came out my mouth. Wow, that's deep. Yeah, I'm being such a geek at this because it's my first time to experience winter. Well the cold wasn't a new feeling, I've somewhat lived through it every day at school, with the air conditioners that tends to make us into human popsicles.
My eyes then landed into a black suv waiting for us outside the garage. A girl in a white coat was walking towards us, and in a closer perspective, she looks like an anime character that came to life. Immediately she reminded me of Mikasa from Attack on Titan, but without the costume.
I was the closest person near her, so she came to me first. She held out her hand and I shook it. "Hi I'm Misaki Takano." The girl introduced herself. And damn. Her name is so close to the one I just imagined her to be.
Don suddenly came up to us and hugged her. "Girl I've missed you!" He said and the cute Japanese girl blushed like a sushi. By this look, I can already tell. She likes Don.
"Thank you really for helping us." Kayla was the next to pop up. Misaki simply nodded and smiled. And I want to squish her so bad. She's so kawaii~
( Kawaii means cute.)
"I'm sorry. I haven't introduced myself." I said to her and she looked at me with those light brown eyes. "I'm Victoria by the way." I waved my hand and she smiled...coldly.
"Ah. The girl who's responsible for Don-sama's suffering." She simply said, her smile not fading, though her eyes had an obvious glint of hate.

Okay. She's like a turtle, cute but bites.
( Sama is a term they apply to names of people they highly respect.)
"Chill girl. She's not the Victoria were looking for, just the same name." Don said as he puts an arm around her shoulder.
"Her surname is Sanchez, not Hale." Kayla stepped up for me too. I can see that they've skip the part of me being the daughter of the person they're chasing. And probably they haven't told her the reason why we're really here, or I might be wrong.
"I'm sorry." She said and bowed.
"No, no. It's fine. I get that a lot." I said while waving my hands. Then suddenly I felt a hand on the small of my back, as it travel to my waist. I flinched and looked up to my side to see Keith smirking.
"Hi Misaki. Long time no see." Keith said with a smile, then looked at me. "So you've met my girlfriend." If I'm not mistaking, he's actually referring to me.
What the fuck is with this dickhead!
Keith then bent down and whispered something in my ear. "Just go along with it. I'll explain later." He said and smiled lovingly at me. My thoughts were telling me to kick his balls but then I went along with the flow. I sighed and nodded.
"So who is that guy?" She pointed at Tristan standing behind us the whole time.
It seems to me that Don and Kayla is not the type to brief their accomplices first on the whatnots of this mission, and the people they tag along. I laughed, mentally. Probably they just ask for help and when their friends say yes, that's when they bomb them with the plan...or not.
"That's Tristan, Victoria's cousin. He's also here to help us." Keith said with another smile that's dashing but annoying. Tristan simply smiled back and nodded. Well it's true, he is technically my cousin.
"Okay. Introductions' are done. So let's move people." Kayla said while clapping her hands.
We met the person who's in charge of this garage and we gave him the details on how long the plane will be staying here. And it shocked me to know that Don knows Japanese. I haven't really understood their conversation with the guy who's taking care of the plane, until he explained it to us.

We put our things inside Misaki's car, and it was a miracle that it all fits. Keith was weirdly and annoyingly acting like a boyfriend the whole ride. If he touches me on the wrong area, I swear I'll cut his fingers and stick it on his nose.
We drove into a town called Chatan, and the sceneries were all foreign to me, especially because they're covered with snow. The night was growing dark, so everything wasn't as clear, and the windows were foggy. But that didn't stop me from taking pictures of the things I draw on the car's window. When we have extra time, I'd ask Kayla if we can visit Tokyo, praying she'd say yes.
The car parked into a house with a common design that's usually seen on mangas and animes. I guess the headquarters is located underneath this. We went inside and we were welcomed by a petite middle-aged woman in an apron.
Wow. So the hunters here are in disguise.
"This is my mother Ayami." Misaki said and her mother smiled warmly at us.
"Welcome to our humble home." She said to all of us. "Your rooms are upstairs, Misaki will show you. I'll ready your dinner." She said in perfect English like her daughter does, though the thick accent never fades.
We took off our shoes and went inside. The house is pretty normal. No signs of any hunter belongings. "This is not the headquarters right?" I asked Keith in a whisper.
He laughed. "No. This is really Misaki's home. They're our host." I just nodded.
I looked around and it feels like I just entered a setting inside an anime. The main floor was divided only by the living room and the kitchen with enough space to move. We followed Misaki to the second floor and it's a good thing we left our shoes by the door, because it's such a shame if we dirtied their shiny wooden flooring. There were four rooms up here. Misaki said we'll only be sharing one bathroom in this household. No one had a reaction to what she said, but I guess they all held it in.
Misaki opened the first door on the hallway and told the boys that they'll be sharing a room, and that was originally her brother's room. So she reminded them not to touch any of his stuff, especially his instruments.
The next one was mine and Kayla's, I bet this is Misaki's room, because it has a girly feel to it, well the pile of stuff toys and pink paint gave it away.
"Ask me if you need anything. I'll be in the kitchen." She said to us and left.
The room was cute like its owner. There are tons of anime posters on the wall, one of her bookshelf was filled with mangas. I wonder if she'd mind me reading one of her books. The computer desk was the one that caught my attention, I really like the structure of it, and so I took a picture when Kayla wasn't looking.
We dumped our bags on the floor and slumped on the bed. Yeah we share one bed. I was really itching to know why we aren't in the hunters crib. So I asked Kayla, without any guarantee that she'd answer my questions.
"Uhm, so I was wondering, why are we here?" I asked bluntly.
"Well, we can't simply go to the headquarters and let them know were planning to sneak into the queen's beehive." She bluntly replied and puts her hands behind her head. I moved to the computer chair and decided to give her the bed, well for now.
"So how'd you get the jet?" I threw another question. If we didn't have hunters help, then how'd we got that ride?
