《The Nerd that turned out to be Vampire-ish [Wattys2015]》CHAPTER 9: There's a rainbow after every nightmare.

I'm actually confused if this is a dream. Will is not himself. He's like the hulk, well the gorgeous version, but otherwise his actions clearly is as wild as the green guy. This is probably just a dream, until Tristan is flying back to the sofa, his whole body on top of me.

"Ouch!" I squealed. The pain was a wakeup call. I tried to push Tristan away, his weight was too much for me to handle. "Move! You're too heavy."

It was then I realized that he was doing it on purpose. He's shielding me from Will's wrath. He sat back up and so did I. This time I have a clear view of Will, he's shouting and throwing things to Tristan. Good thing it's not a chair, but books and game consoles would still leave a mark.

Good heavens. This is no dream, this is a nightmare.

"I'm sorry you have to see this. I didn't expect him to be in a tantrum. He'd usually feel sleepy when his drunk." Tristan said, in a hushed tone.

"I-It's okay." My voice betrayed me, it had a hint of panic and fear, opposite to what I was saying.

"No it's not. Go behind the sofa. I'll try to subdue him." Without words I did what I was told. I hid behind the safety of the sofa, peeking on the horror that's happening in front of me.

"Bro calm down. Please." Tristan slowly walked towards Will.

"Calm? Fuck! I went to that bookstore looking for you." He paused and pointed to my direction. "I even searched the whole damn mall, and here you are, fucking this asshole." He shouted and pushed Tristan.

Instead of staying invisible, his rage radiated through me. He has no way of accusing me, and treating Tristan like that.

"Excuse me?" I stood up from where I was hiding. "I waited for hours in that bookstore. I even came with Tristan to wait for you here." I said, my head's about to explode.

"And what were you guys doing huh? I bet you guys were having fun naked." Will was trying to get to me, but Tristan was strong enough to hold him into place.

My instincts were trying to say that I should make a run for it, but I did the opposite and walked towards Will. "You have NO right to accuse us of that."

"Victoria!" Shouted Tristan. "Stop!"

"So you're defending this bitch?" Will said, and elbowed Tristan hard on the stomach, he's now crouching on the floor.

Then, I slapped him. My voice is now on the same volume as his. "Get a hold of yourself! This is not you!" I paused and lowered my voice. "You're better than this..." A tear fell down my cheeks, but I wiped it as fast as it fell. I'm shaking and scared as hell, but I'm trying my hardest not to show it.

Will looked at me. "I was worried sick you know." The fire in his eyes starts to tone down.

"I'm sorry I should have called you." I said, not breaking eye contact. "I'm sorry. I really am." I paused and touched his arm. "Please."

Will sighed and run a hand through his beautiful hair. "I'm sorry too." He said it with the same look he'd made, when he asked me to help him, that vulnerable look.

"I lost my phone you see. So I run to the mall, hoping I'd still catch you. I thought you'd be so mad and disappointed, thinking I had bailed on you. But I didn't. I was just running late." He paused and cleared his throat. "Our friend got into a car accident when we were racing, so we had to take him to the hospital..."

"I guess we both failed huh?" And for the first time he smiled. "And believe me. This..." I gestured on my outfit. "Has a once-in-a-lifetime story."

Also, I'd just realized what Tristan was wearing. He's only in his boxers as well, and to top it off his hair was still damp, probably fresh from the shower. No wonder Will thought... I shook those thoughts away, mental images are hard to ignore once they're formed.

"So you guys weren't fucking?"

I shook my head vigorously. Seriously, what he's saying right now, is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard since the moment I got out from my mother's cat.

"My chances of being accused of murder is more believable, than what you're imagining." Both of them laughed, even Tristan who's still laying on the floor.

Will bent down and helped Tristan. "Hey man. I'm sorry I jumped on you like that."

"You were one jealous bitch." Tristan replied with a smile, a warm genuine one that I've never seen before.

"Well, who wouldn't blame me? Anyone who's on the same shoes I'm in, would think so too." He paused, hesitating the next words. "You guys are wearing the post sex outfit."

Tristan and I exchanged grossed looks, and we both cringed at the thought. "SERIOUSLY?!" Both of us said in unison.

"Omaygod! Will, stop! Let's move on from this topic. PLEASE." I probably sounded desperate because they both laughed. "And you need to rest."

He looked at me. "Do I look drunk to you?"

"YES. Minutes ago, you did looked like a drunken master with deadly throwing skills." He laughed and so did Tristan.

"You owe me big time." Tristan lightly punched Will's shoulder.

"Yeah. I hope pizza will do." He said, ruffling Tristan's already messed up hair. "Are you going to stay for a while princess?" He looked at me and then to the window. "Looks like you have no choice."

It was raining pretty hard outside. I don't know how I will ever get home. Its quarter to eleven, and it's not safe in my neighborhood this time at night. I don't want to ask for a ride either. I sighed. "I'll just take a cab."

They both said no. Will started to rant that cabs aren't safe, and other reasons, which I'm pretty sure is 70% made up. I laughed. "Fine. I'll stay."

"Great. I'll order pizza. Tris can I borrow your phone?" Will said excitedly, the ball of sunshine is back.

"Yeah it's on my desk." Will jogged towards Tristan's room.

I sat at the sofa and faced Tristan with the look that says we-need-to-talk.

He looked at me with furrowed brows. "What?"

I'm still distracted by the limited clothes his wearing. He has one gorgeous body, lean like a swimmer, with broad shoulders and abs. Okay, I should stop staring, I'd probably drool anytime soon.

"Oh don't play dumb nerd." I said squinting my eyes.

"Yeah. Whatever. Let's talk later." He said avoiding my stare. "I'll go change." He stood up, still holding the side of his stomach, where he was hit. Then he glanced back at me. "By the way, your clothes are clean now."

"You washed it?" I probably asked what's already obvious, because I just earned myself his signature eye roll.

"It's in the dryer." He said and I nodded. Wearing Tristan's boxers while Will's here is pretty awkward, especially after he made a big fuss about it.

Will came back and sat beside me. "Hey princess. I just want to say sorry, again, by the way how I acted."

I nodded. "It's okay. I understand."

"No it was not." He paused and cleared his throat. "I'm having a hard time controlling my emotions. And what you saw back there? Was not the best of me, probably the worst. I'm sorry. I really am."

I touched his hand. "Will, you don't need to say sorry, for the second time, once was enough. And I do understand. I was... uhm... once like that..." His eyes widened in surprise.

"Really?" Then he paused. "You're just saying that to make me feel less guilty."

"Hey. Do I look like a liar to you? I'm a truther!"

Shit. Is there any way I can take those words back? Hoping Phineas and Ferb's time machine is available for rent. That was the lamest joke I've ever said.

Tristan laughed. I didn't realize he was there, until now. "That's just corny. Do you live in the cornfield hobbit?"

I flashed him a middle finger, and automatically he replied with the twin version. Will just laughed at both us.

Then we heard the doorbell rang. "Pizza. I'll get it." Tristan said walking towards the hallway. He's now dressed in jersey shorts and black t-shirt. Will on the other hand was still on his striped black and white shirt, paired with dark grey jogger pants.

"You really are serious. Aren't you?" He asked and I nodded.

"I'm not comfortable talking about my past, but if you need someone to talk to, I'm just here. But there's payment for every session, ideally coffee." He laughed.

"A coffee buffet if possible. Also, I still owe you a date, I mean study date." I laughed really hard. Hearing that, especially coming from him, is hilarious.

Tristan came back with two boxes of pizza and placed it on the coffee table. "Beer or coke?"

"Definitely coke." I paused and looked at Will. "No more alcohol for you mister." Will shot his hands up in the air.

"Yes mother." Will said and laughed.

"Game of Thrones anyone?" Tristan asked, and I was totally dumbstruck.

"Do you have to ask? YES!" What can be more perfect than pizza, coke, and Game of Thrones!

"Oh we have a fan girl in the house." Tristan smirked and played the Game of Thrones. "You don't mind if I start with season 4?"

"Nope. I'll be the narrator."

Will laughed. "Don't. Tris hates it when people gives him spoilers."

"Oh." I paused. "That's interesting." I rubbed my hands while doing an evil laugh.

"I'll change into my old clothes first." I said standing up.

"It might get dirty again, when you eat." Tristan gave me that look that says you're-clumsy-remember.

"What am I a ki..." And he cut me off, this is probably the fastest one.

"YES. And I'm not doing your laundry, again."

I glared at him. "Fine." I sat back to the floor, next to Will.

"I think it's time to hear that long story." Will said with a big question mark written on his face. Probably has no idea what Tristan and I has been bickering about.

So I told him the story from the beginning to end. Skipping the part about our theories of him rubbing bodies with hoes, which earned me a knowing nod from Tristan.

"So, that explains your sexy outfit." Seriously, that made me laugh, even Tristan. "Honestly. It was late for me to realize that you're even wearing anything underneath that shirt."

I looked down, his right. It looks like I'm only wearing a t-shirt, that's half way through my thighs. My face shifted to Tristan who's... blushing? He's probably on the same page as Will, but shy enough to point it out for me. Omg this is so embarrassing! I can't pull the boxers down, because then they'll see my butt crack.

I grabbed a white pillow from the sofa and placed it on my legs. "Eyes on the screen boys." The two chuckled, getting the hint that I'm changing the subject.

Tristan suddenly spoke. "Will. You're medicine."

Will replied with a dumbfounded look. "Medicine?" Then Tristan gave him a look that says you-know-what-I-mean, Will got the message but I didn't, though I'm not going to pry. "But... she's here."

That took me off balance. Curiosity is now boiling in me. I drink medicines in front of my friends all the freaking time. What's the deal here?

Tristan simply shrugged and gestured for him to go, and I just smiled with a face that says it's-okay-I'll-play-dumb.

"O-kay." Will stood up and took something from their refrigerator, and it was the same thing that Tristan was drinking at lunch. A weird red liquid.
