I tried to answer this one in the last chapter. Erinna can't fully accept him because :

a) Their races are forbidden to mate

b) She's a Pure being and he's well.. He's Dracula

c) She can't come to terms with how he wastes lives and tortures other living things because as an elf she's a protector of nature

d) If they consummate their bond, a load of curses that'll extend to their races will unload on them

e) She's destined to kill him in the end, willingly or unwillingly

f) She believes his feelings are because of the curse

g) He's creepy duh 😂😂

Elves and vampires can't mate because Vlad killed a Pure Being which turned him into a vampire and the races against themselves, therefore them actually doing it would unleash a bag of horrors you don't actually want to imagine 😂😂😂

Ans

He killed Diana's husband and she wanted revenge but since she couldn't kill him because she simply wasn't strong enough, she found another way to punish him. She cursed him to lying frozen in a coffin for 2000 years, giving her time to gather enough energy for her final blow.

She killed her whole coven and harvested their power. In the underworld she would welcome every witch taking their power. When the time was right and the person strong enough to withhold all that power because she was already strong, she bestowed all the power she had gathered on the person ie, Erinna.

She gave her a mission to destroy the ruthless count who had terrorized many.

8)Why did she choose Erinna

Ans

Erinna was a pure being already and therefore strong enough to hold the power Diana wanted to give her without getting overwhelmed. Plus Erinna was Vlad's mate, no better way to hurt him than let him die at the hands of the woman who he loved.

First one :

When Dracula got angry because the elves wouldn't heal his wife Lisa, he slaughtered their pure being as revenge, which led to his first curse, that is being turned into a vampire.

Second one :

Killing a pure being immediately created a rift between the two races as the elves regard their pure beings very sacred. Thefore curse didn't end with Dracula being cursed to a vampire, it made any elf vampire unions impossible, with any who try to ignore that getting cursed. It's worse for Vlad and Erinna because they are leaders, if they consummate the bond and get cursed, it'll spread to their people.

Third one :

Vlad unwittingly angered the Witch Diana, making her curse him to two thousand years and to loving the woman who would eventually kill him.

10)Why is Vlad reluctant to do IT before the mating ritual, ie full moon?

It'll be better if he takes her after officially claiming her not like one of the women in his past. That'd probably make Erinna's ancestors mad, causing them to unleash all their anger on Vlad 😂 😂 so to keep the risks at a down low, he wants to do everything officially, thus by marking her in a mating ritual that can only take place on a blood moon 🌚

The reason he is a vampire already is cause he tampered with a pure being, imagine what turning one into one of nature's abominations would result in.
