Carters POV
it was obvious there was something increasing wrong with Gregory, he looked like death—no pun attended. From the night into the grave yard up until now there has been a drastic change in her appearance and demeanor, even in the few hours from seeing him in the morning he looked worse. And now he has the audacity to tell me I'm not up to search for the amulet?! I mean, I can't deny, him being all serious and shit telling me not to go was sooo attractive. Like I had to literally swallow to keep myself calm. Also, I wasn't up for walking for hours on end.
The four of us stood there in silence, waiting for Gregory to answer my question (once again). I didn't want to take no for an answer now, I'm devoted to helping them I need to know what's going on—plus I want to make sure he's okay. It's as they expected tony and I to he completely transparent so why shouldn't it be reciprocated the same way.
"Well?" I asked in an annoyed tone, looking at Gregory with my arms spread wide as of saying are you looking for an invitation to start speaking orrrrr?
"Why can't you just drop it?" Gregory said deeply under his breath, with narrow eyes
"Because you look like you were hit by a 18 wheeler" I said seriously even though I wanted to chuckle
Silence
"Like I said it's nothing" he was keeping his tone strong and dominate—something I was familiar with with Collin—but unlike with Collin I wasn't intimidated or scared of Geogory
"Why can't you just tell me...were in this together" I tell him, my heart breaking. I just want to help him
"Gregory" freda began but stopped herself (how awkward were always bickering in front of them)

"It's nothing serious..." he paused, licked his lips and looks at his parents—back at me—and at his parents again "I just haven't been able to feed" he sounded utterly defeated
"Feed?" I asked questionably "what do you
Mean when you say feed precisely"
"You know exactly what I mean. I haven't been able to feed, On humans or animals"
Human??
"You bit a human?" My voice was more dramatic than I meant
"Of course" he smiled at me "they are the most delicious"
What—the—fuck
"We don't know what caused it" Fredrick finally spoke "but it's something we've never seen before. We have no idea how to treat it but, vampires need to feed. Our best bet is it find the amulet—that's the only chance"
"Only chance of what?" My voice Crocked
"Nothing—everything will be fine" freda said putting her hand on Fredricks shoulder and looking at him with a warning glare
"What can I do?" I asked, my heart pumping now knowing this new information that Gregory is sick.
"Maybe there's something written about ill vampires on that, uh what was it called? Internet?" Gregory looked at me
"I can look" I walked over to my laptop and turned it on
"Splendid" freda said walking over to Gregory "let's go sit down hun" grabbing his arm she led him to the couch, Fredrick following closely behind.
Gregory sat on the two person love seat; Fredrick and freda on the full couch. I unplug the laptop (which was fully charged) and sat next to Gregory, even sick he was the most stunning boy I've ever seen
"We're going to figure this all out" I told him grabbing his hand, purely out of instincts. He didn't respond verbally but instead squeezed it back, not letting go.

Cosmic Bulldozing Team
"Welcome to the Cosmic Bulldozing Team! CBT for short... references to any other acronyms are purely coincidental." Breve has one exceptional gift: an inborn potential for Resurrection magic. The cost? Every other healing spell she casts is absolutely paltry in comparison to the rest of her race, making her family outcasts within her society. That potential alone, however, classes Breve as a Rank A Healer. By what metric? Well, by the crazy elf lady who’s about to destroy her planet. Wait, what? Here's the low-down: her planet has been targeted by the Cosmic Bulldozing Team, which, as their name suggests, operates in the apparently lucrative business of destroying planets. This comes with the unfortunate side-effect of also murdering everyone who lives there. And Breve would’ve been killed, too, if she hasn’t unintentionally passed their audition for a new healer. Unwillingly saved by the people who just annihilated everything Breve ever knew and loved, she’s dragged into a massive spaceship before, without a moment’s reprieve, being assigned missions to sally forth and commit the same atrocities on other planets. And with Breve's home lying in a pile of celestial bedrock, it seems that cooperating is the only option. And she will cooperate, or so help her, they'll send her back whence she came: into the void of space, where the smashed rubble of her planet now drifts along. "Buckle in, rookie: you've got some planetary destruction ahead of you." (Updates every 2 days.)
