"Wielders", or those born with ability to change the physical world around them through runes and a mystical force known as Ard. The world changed over a millennium ago when the High Mage split Ard. In the days of old there were those that bonded to miniature Dragons, Demi-Dragons, to increase their power. The demi-dragons have long since disappeared from the world but they are returning and with them they bring change. Book 1 is the journey of discovery of a young man as he makes an amazing discovery that will change his life forever. A bond will be formed that will lead him to leave his home and journey across the country to try to fulfill a destiny he is not sure he wants.
