With magikind ruling the world, a three-way war grips society. In these uncertain times, a manush called Gin, will herald a new era for all Magikind. With his son safe the god of light returns to his domains ruling and keeping his other children in line. Markus a farm boy dreams of leaving the farm and becoming a hero. His parents try to prepare him for the outside world. The Halo valley is a dangerious place. Every generation a Demon lord appears. Its nearly time for the next one to appear.
